I had an appointment to get my oil changed on my 3500 Ram Truck. The appointment was made the day before I live 35 miles from Big "O" Tires. So I made an appointment for 11 am then showed up at 10:50 am. At 12:00 noon here i sit waiting for them to pull my truck into a stall to get started. After the manager heard me on my phone checking around at other oil change shops he told me that they were working on getting my truck in to get started. This Big "O" Tire shop is not managed well at all. At 12:15 pm they pull my trick in the bay to start oil change. Paid and walked out the door at 1:18 pm. I waited for who knows how long after my vehicle was done, before I walked around and saw it was parked outside. I had been at this location for 2hrs. I waited for my vehicle because I had appointments to be at. When I asked about my vehicle, the counter guy asked, "oh is that yours?" Come on, really?! I was 20ft away from you. Vehicle had oil build up from dirty technician boots and that's just what I could see. Also, counter workers fall bad about customers who call in, once they've hung up. Not cool. A/C was broken or off and made the already uncomfortable waiting area that much more annoying. I got my alignment done, but I don't know if I'd go back to this location. read more

I started coming here just because they're right by my apartment. I've had to come in to get my tires checked out, changed, patched (Thanks SA construction). They're so informative every time I come in and timely with their service. I'm never in a rush when I go there, so I just hang out and watch the TV in the back waiting room. The tires were cheaper than I was expecting and I know that I need others replaced and I will be stopping here soon to have those taken care of. read more

I took my vehicle in for low tire pressure and immediately was told that depending on where the nail was at I may need a new tire since they would not be able to fix it depending on the location of the nail. They took it in and after a few minutes I was presented with a $413 quote for a new tire because of the location of the nail. I guess they figured that because I was a female I would not question them and buy the tire. I asked them to please just put air in it so that I could drive it home and let my husband deal with it. We took it somewhere else and the nail was removed, and I did not need a new tire. Be careful when taking your vehicle here, ask them to show you where the nail is if they suggest a new tire. read more

I needed to get a quick oil change and happened to take a look at Groupon and saw that Big O had a deal for $19.99. Called them and inquired about a wait time and at 9:30 in the morning on a Sunday I was quoted 30 minutes in and out. I bough the groupon and headed over. Very friendly staff who was extremely helpful and willing to assist with pulling up my groupon offer. I understood the extras that I had to pay for so it was good to have it clarified though. I received a call when my car was ready and I was given the items that needed to be repaired but there was no pressure to get it done so I also appreciated that. With this overall experience, I highly encourage anyone to give them a try. What's the worst that could happen, you get your oil changed? I'll definitely be back! read more

My 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie was taken there from Caliber Collision on July 15th for the tire and rim replacement along with an alignment. Another driver had struck my vehicle in June and so it was being repaired! I got a visit from a SAPD officer at 5:09am this morning telling me my vehicle had been stolen from a business. After some time and once both Caliber Collision and Big O opened (@8am), I went there with my service advisor and we confirmed the vehicle was stolen. I explained to the manager it could only be stolen if the keys were left in the vehicle. Waylon/Wayne said well the keys are always left in the vehicles, even though they have glass bay doors! He also mentioned there was a more expensive truck a dually that was not stolen and that their tires and tools were stolen as well! They wanted me quickly make a claim for my stolen vehicle because it was probably in Mexico by now! Don't go to this business because every time you leave your vehicle they leave the keys in the vehicle so THEY can arrange to have it stolen if they like it!!! read more

Horrible service , very dismissive. Absolutely DO NOT leave your vehicle overnight at this location. Homeless people live near by and will steal everything inside your car if you do. These guys that work here could care less about your car, your tires or customer service. Go down the street to Discount Tire or any other tire store for that matter. My wife's car was due for new tires and I have used Big O before. I called ahead and talked to a very knowledgeable sales person. She helped me with my purchase even called me back when she had the tires. I set up a 2pm appointment and was told it would be about an hour to replace the tires and they would call when done. After an hour and a half I called to check on car and then I was told it would be 30 to 45 more minutes before the car would be done. No apology of any kind and no explanation for why this was taken so long. I went back to the Big O shop and found nobody working on the car but tires were off the car. I called and talked to Paul but he had no answers. Beware if you get tires at Big O's. May take a little longer than expected or told. read more

The larger gentleman with glasses (Martin) that 'greets' guests was incredibly condescending and, well, rude. 7:15am in the morning to talk down to the woman in front of me and then to myself (a 36 year old man) is completely unacceptable. I had a groupon and already received a refund from Groupon. I will vote with my dollars and chose to spend my money elsewhere. I didn't actually think people could give service as bad as this. My husband got new tires and two weeks later he had a flat tire. He works from home and drives once a week maybe on weekends. He put air in the tires to get to the shop and the employee who helped him said "you drove with the tires flat and damaged it so we can't replace it." How could we get there without filling the tire and driving down the street to get there? He spoke to a manager and was almost immediately greeted with, "if you had bought the warranty we wouldn't be having this conversation." My husband is a very calm man who works in and understands customer service and was livid. It was as if they were blaming him for getting a faulty tire. After asking to speak to the district manager he said he'd change them free of charge. I had a Big O Groupon credit towards a brake job and took it to the 1604 location for service. They replaced the rear pads and discs. When I got home, I discovered they hadn't adjusted the parking brake when my car rolled down my inclined driveway after I pushed the parking brake all the way to the floor like I usually do. It never did this before they did the brakes. I took it back to them, same day, and they fixed that problem, but I believe they caused another. It's been less than 200 miles since they did the brakes and I now a have a loud thumping sound periodically coming from the back of the vehicle. It's like a tire or brake part is hitting on something every time the wheel goes around. I am not the least bit impressed with the quality of the work at the 1604 location. Because they didn't adjust the parking brake and I now have a new noise I didn't have before, I don't think they know what they are doing. Because the work was done at a Big O, I will take it to another location in the perhaps vain hope that they can fix the other store's problem. I ordered 4 new tires online. It said I would receive a $25 mail in rebate. They ordered the tires and then installed them. When I went to pay the invoice which was over $600 I asked about the mail in rebate. The cashier said he showed no rebates. I showed him from my phone the email confirmation. He said he would contact corporate and ask about this. I gave him 1 week. No response. I emailed corporate over a week ago and still no response. I will never do business with Big O liars ever again. My cars alignment was very out of wack after replacing my rack and pinion. Car was wandering really bad and my steering wheel before the alignment was titled to the right as the tires were straight. Took about 45 mins. After paying for the service I received a paper showing my wheels alignment specifications before getting it done and after and showed a variety of changes that were done. Got in and out pretty fast. Very fast and efficient as far as the service goes and will definitely be back for any addition service I need in the future. I took my wife's car in for an alignment. I asked them to see about resetting the tire pressure monitor. Two sensors were bad. They wanted $80/piece for those and they tried to tell me my tread was low which it isn't. I've been to enough tire places in my life to know what's low tread and what isn't. PA had tough laws on inspection for tire treads. $80/ piece! They're nuts! We did get the alignment done though which we needed. I'll find a small shop to replace the tpms sensors. read more

Bought fully synthetic oil change Groupon for $29 up to 5 qrts with free tire rotation and made appointment. Day of appointment, could not be found and neither the vehicle. This was the last place we had the oil change done and even the windshield sticker from them reflected the information. Asked not to do the free tire rotation since tires have insurance with free rotation & balance. They did not listen and during this process stripped a lug nut and did not informed us even that we saw them expending more than 15 minutes to "fix something". Good thing that we have a reliable company taking care of the tires on every single of our vehicles in over 22 years. They replaced the stripped lug threads and lug. DO NOT Recommend Big O Tires and will never do business with them again. read more

As a small business owner, I am always looking how other businesses treat and serve their customers. This team definitely took care of me. I had a flat tire that needed to be changed and my spare put back under the decking. Jessica greeted m and ordered up my tire. And promised to call me the following day when it arrived. Then the manager told me about their fleet program and hooked me up with the fleet manager. The next day, Jessica followed up as promised and I was able to get my tire installed and spare our back to its spot. While waiting, I did see and over hear other customers that were unhappy about the amount of time they he to wait. However, my personal experience did not reflect any excessive delays. I'm sure that being short handed played apart in the perceived delays. It seems all businesses have been affected by this. Not making any excuses, but every business is experiencing this. Overall, I would recommend Big O Tires. I'll be back to see how they perform with fleet maintenance. For now....all is well with me and the experience I had. Nice job Jessica. My car has been having a slow leak according to my psi reading for the past few days. I woke up today and my front passenger tire was at 8 (and flat) so I put air in it so I could make it to Big O and was first in line to have them check what was going on. As I filled them in on the tire (explaining I may need a patch or new tire due to this concern). After about 10-15 mins of handing them my keys they informed me that they checked the tire and pressure and nothing was wrong (mind you I just put air in so the pressure wouldn't be down quite yet but again I previously explained this to them) and it was probably just going down from the heated temperatures outside. They rushingly sent me on my way as they saw another customer walking in. Having a gut feeling that something wasn't right with my tire and given the "heated temperature" explanation didn't make sense because then why weren't all my tires low, I chose to go to DiscountTire and they addressed the problem being there was a nail in it and they were able to simply patch it. I will not be taking by business back to Big O that would be a Big No! read more

Son blew his tire and I contacted store to find out if we needed an appt. Paul was very nice, very welcoming....no appt necessary. Husband took the car in and we bought 4 new tires and had to pay additional due to bent rim. No problem!!! Husband pays and turns car over to son and on sales receipt he notices it is "checked" that he DECLINED alignment on vehicle. Husband was never asked about alignment. It's an easy upcharge if not complimentary with the purchase of 4 NEW tires and we would have easily paid it! Later that evening my husband got in the vehicle and noticed the tire light was on and I said we should take it back to BigO. He didn't want to bc if they didn't even think to complete an alignment (WITH THE PURCHASE OF 4 NEW TIRES!!) or ensure one was done, they obviously do crappy work and don't care about their customers. And when I called them to question why they didn't complete an alignment, their answer was that we declined. NEVER HAPPENED! I believe it wasn't completed bc they didn't have time and store was closing. I wish I had read these reviews first . We will take our money elsewhere to complete the work they started. read more

My tires were so bad and Big O Tires had my tires available to put on and even offered me financing options. I went through easypay, it was fast and easy and I got approved right away. Lol I never get approved for anything, everything is straight forward and easy. I was in and out with new tires, brakes, rotors and an oil change in no time. I went to fix a leak in a tire and the guy tells me is a two and half to three hour wait so I agreed to wait. He takes my information and when Im about to give him the keys he says is a 24hr fix.
