My car was stranded with a destroyed wheel bearing. Had to take it apart and bring them the hub and new bearing. All they had to do was press it out/new one in for me. Said they were going to have to schedule me an appointment and charge me two hours labor at time and a half because I wasn't using their parts. Over 300 bucks to do it. I went to Tony brown Chevrolet (my car was a Honda) and the pressed my new bearing in for FREE and told me to get back home safe. Big O tires is a damn joke and I don't recommend anyone go there if this is how they treat people. read more

Very expensive repair down in July. It's now March, 8 months later and that repair needs to be fixed again. They've changed the warranty. It's now 12 month/12000 miles, so it's not covered. Will NOT take any more vehicles to this location read more

I took a friends car there to get new brakes,tire sensors and new tires. A week later we took the car back and they said that they didn't find no problems. And they didn't fix anything, we have 3 year warranty and are very unsatisfied with there customer service. We paid over $700.00 and just want the car fixed right. A little over week ago I took my wife's car and my truck in for new tires. About $1700 dollars later both vehicles have new tires that I am happy with. While my wife's car was in they said it needed new back brakes immediately and would need front brakes very soon. The back brakes did not surprise me as I know they had not been changed in a long time. The front brakes did surprise me as we recently had the dealer change them and the rotors. At any rate I had my wife schedule an appointment for an oil change and to have the back brakes done. When she called they mentioned again that the front would need to be done very soon. I thought about it for a couple days before the appointment and decided to do the work myself. So I went to the parts store and got new back brake pads, rotors and new front brake pads along with oil and a filter. Needless to say the back brakes needed replacing... the front brakes... no. Nowhere close to needing replacement. I have been in the maintenance field for 25 years but I will let the picture do the talking. So... how much wear is on that pad? Practically none. All four pads looked the same. Front rotors... not a groove in them. I will give them an A+ for their tires... but unfortunately I will have to give an F for trying to get me to spend money that I didn't need to. I really hate turning wrenches at home because I deal with it all day at work... but I am glad I know how as it saves me a lot of money. read more

Today I set an appointment request online for 9am that was approved over the phone to fit me in. It took until 2pm after we were quoted an hour wait time after dropping the car off at 9:30. They told us we could not do an alignment because there was no availability. We went ahead and said to just change the tire then we left for lunch. We gave them a call while at lunch and they said the car was not even worked on yet at 12pm. The women on the phone were rude and disrespectful. Quoting "She's throwing a fit" to her coworker. When we got there the lady apologized saying "that's just how we talk here" very unprofessional. It is now 2pm and is finally ready. They changed our tire putting a new tire on that was more expensive then the one we quoted on the request. No call was given. My original quoted price with an alignment was $114. I just paid $145 without an alignment for one tire. Such a lack of customer service at the Brandenburg location. read more

I recently had a horrible experience at Big O Tires. After needing new rear tires, I was told a part on my vehicle needed to be replaced... already spending close to $700. I make an appointment to get the part put on my vehicle, and go in to have it fixed. Over an hour and a half later, I'm told this part isn't going to work, and that I need to make another appointment to have another part put on, in addition to the initial part. I make another date to go in, telling them I need to get out of there at a specific time, because I need to be at work. I'm guaranteed that it will take less than an hour. One hour later, I'm pulled aside and told the part has gone to a completely different city, and that it should be there within a few minutes... Two hours later, I'm still sitting in the lobby waiting for they part to be put on. I'm out over $900 from my most recent trip to Big O. I was late for work, and was promised and promised to be out quickly, but that never happened. If you wish to be lied to about how long it's going to take for the work to get done, be my guest, but for me, I'll never go back. read more
