I had no idea how it would be, but the pricing specials drew me in. This store was organized quite well, with a plentiful stock of just about any firework you could be looking for. The pricing specials (buy one get one or buy one get two) were great and were scattered across just about everything in the store. The staff here was quite helpful, answering questions about size, sound, colors, you name it. Quite honestly, this is worth the drive in Central Florida, as you just find so much more than what are at roadside tents. The specials were good, the stock was impressive, and really they were the big game in town. Fast forward a number of years, and the game has changed. They have competition locally, and tents are popping up all over selling similar fireworks. We came out here before the 4th of July drawn in by some specials. The specials were great, as you could get large fireworks for a good price, but they were also quite limited. Signage around the store showing what was BOGO and what was not was almost non-existant. To say the overall experience was a bit frustrating would be accurate. The staff was still helpful, the selection was still decent (but not as much as I remembered), but the overall atmosphere just wasn't conducive to easy shopping. Now that they have competition nearby, it is time to step up the signage and selection. I still enjoy shopping here, but it is not quite the same as it once was.

The manager assisted me, was knowledgeable, pulled up some videos on his phone of various fountains in action. I bought a few items and left. Afterwards, I remembered there was a 50% discount for military. I went back inside and asked if they offered it. The manager gladly refunded my purchase and thanked me for my service. He even held the door open for me as I left. Even though the St. Augustine location is closer to me, in the future, I'll return to this location and give them my business. Good, friendly people. Yes indeed, another excellent minor league baseball experience at The Jack…read more This time it was Christmas in July night which is something that could only exist in minor league baseball. So cheesy that it was a melt but all good fun with the giving out of prizes every half inning and some fun nonsense with Shelldon. No seat is a bad seat, well maybe with the exception of baking out in the sun on the 3B side bleachers or if you're lucky enough to get stuck behind one of the posts that supports the roof, and since attendance is always seemingly miserable you can score great seats at the last minute. The food selections are basic (some minor league parks really have expanded and bougified their offerings) but here it's still your basic dogs, burgers, pretzels, chicken fingers, funnel cake fries that make up the back bone of the menu. The good thing is that prices across the board are very reasonable and the surroundings are small/informal enough that the friendliness of the staff really shines through. The Tortugas won and we saw some good pitching from Daytona along with two home runs. Sure there were also a few mental lapses from St. Lucie that equaled two errors but it was still a solid game. Good pricing, super easy to do everything from park, get tickets, find your seat, etc. All in all a great time. Definitely a must do!

So if it's possible that the crab cakes, she-crab soup or the soft-shells don't tantalize your tastebuds there are plenty of other options available like the fresh shrimp, crawfish and or a bowl of Arroz a la Marinera (seafood paella) no matter there's plenty of food, cold beer and live music.
