I love Dollar Trees... and this one is my absolute favorite…read more I don't live in Terre Haute, but I pass through a couple times a month. And THIS store is one I stop at EVERY time. The selection is the best of any Dollar Tree that I have ever shopped at, and they seem to have the holiday and seasonal items either before the other stores - or just the best of what Dollar Tree has to offer (which is getting better each year). In fact, there are times I will make the drive strictly to pick up a few things that I can't find anywhere else. The store is clean, bright, and fully stocked.. and the staff is very nice and helpful. There is one cashier (Sweetie, I am sorry I don't know your name - but I WILL ask you for the next time I roll through and will add it in here!) who is probably the happiest and friendliest women I have ever dealt with at a Dollar Tree or ANY store. You can't be in her presence without leaving with a smile. She makes shopping there - a joy. (Pssst: Dollar Tree - give this woman a raise and make her a company spokesperson!) See you soon, Terre Haute. You KNOW I'll stop in!

Again though I wish every store would keep up the cleanliness. Every single one is always dirty looking but hey they have anything you really need even warm to touch lube which work's incredible highly recommend the lube. I will always tell people to go there when they need something and don't want to spend a lot of money.

A line started forming about 5 mins in. No one came to ring me up. I left without purchasing anything with still no employee making a move to work the register. They won't make much money if they don't sell their items to people. Oh, I also saw a girl stealing stuff around the register area that would have also been avoided if they had someone there. Bring your business elsewhere if you are one to actually purchase your items instead of steal them...

I had told her to keep the change because I wanted to leave as soon as possible. I don't know what her name is but she is a store manager there. Completely horrible experience my kids were traumatized by it and now get anxiety when we go check out at other stores. I honestly should've called the police. She still works there too so DG doesn't care even after I called and reported her.
