We left with a Super Mario Pirhana Plant lego kit for an adult ($60) and a 3-1 kit for a child that makes an larger axolotl, a flamingo, & parrot ($30). They had tons of Star Wars build options, cars, futurama, the one piece build, and Harry Potter stuff.

I asked for the managers name 3 times and was met with silence each time except for the smart aleck making another comment and laughing. This is unacceptable during these times. I am high risk for covid due to my age. I was not only treated with disrespect, but any customers going in this store are at risk.

Instead, I received a text less than 15 minutes before their arrival at 8:30 a.m. -- no consideration or proactive communication. They knew the day before that I was the second stop and could have easily notified me sooner. There was zero mention that someone had to be physically present at the property -- not in the store, not in the confirmation email, and not in any of the text messages. I even had a door code ready and was available by phone, but that wasn't acceptable to them either. The communication failures at every stage -- in-store, via text, and during delivery coordination -- were unacceptable. This will be the last time I purchase from Bob's. If you value clear communication and reliable delivery, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

They tried to deliver on a Saturday at 7am, when the email said after 8am. Then refused to come back in action known as a "Turn Around." Then despite requesting some time frame any day of the week between 8am and 5pm. The most recent info suggests they will try to deliver after 9pm on a weeknight. Ordered the couch a month ago, still don't have it.

In end of 2023 and early 2024 we were looking to upgrade our living room furniture set. We stopped…read moreby quite a few furniture stores in St. Louis. We ended up looking at Carol House Furniture, Ashley Furniture, Value City Furniture, Furniture Outlet, Macy's, American Freight Furniture, La-Z-Boy, Bob's discount furniture to name a few. We found a living room set at Ashley Furniture that we really liked but they were playing games with us on pricing. Originally they were quoting us $3900.00 for the Sofa, Love Seat, Ottoman and Chair and a half. We continued on with our quest and ended up at Midwest Clearance Center. They can get the same exact set we wanted at Ashley Furniture. We haggled a bit on the price and we ended up buying from Midwest Clearance Center. We ended up saving $1400.00 from the original quote we got from Ashley Furniture. That price we paid from Midwest Clearance Center also included a 5 year protection plan from a third party. During delivery, the delivery service ripped the armrest fabric on our love seat and we had Midwest Clearance Center order the panel and they replaced it. After they were done, you could not tell that panel was replaced. Although we had a small issue with the delivery, Midwest Clearance Center does have a great service department. They have addressed our issue. If you are looking to buy furniture, check around and find what you like and try checking with Midwest Clearance Center to see if they can order it for you and save some money on top of it. I have been impressed with their responsiveness and service.
