In the middle of June, I called to inquire. Larry said he would check and get back to me. Never got any call back from anyone. On July 9th, I called back and he told me again he had to check on it. Next day he called back to let me know my chair had not even been ordered. Same thing happened several years ago when my wife and I both ordered recliners. Hers came in about two weeks, but when I asked about mine, they said there had been a mixup and it was not ordered. I had to wait another 3 weeks for mine. Sorry, but I won't enter that store again. Not waiting for the 3rd strike!

T.M. called to report problem. Diane came out the next day to check out the problem and confirmed that it was not working. She said a new chair would be provided. TM had to go to the hospital and rehab. Upon her return on 9/30 she followed up to get the replacement chair. She was told that the manager was out and no one else can resolve the matter. In the interim TM is having difficulty moving about because she doesn't have a functional chair. Need immediate action to replace the chair before additional health issues are created or refund of purchase price (paid cash). Was told it takes 10 days to get a refund. This is totally unacceptable customer service. I can't imagine a business that can't take action because the manager is not there. Make this right by replacing the chair immediately.

I called the store and they brought a new one out 2 days later. Lately, the door switch has not been working correctly and I had to keep messing with it to get it to start I called Schewels on Saturday. They notified their repair shop, but they were closed. First thing Monday morning they called me, I explained the problem, and he came out within the hour and repaired it. Best customer service I've seen in a long time.

I took an almost 4' wide slab of kiln dried walnut to him and within hours, it was ready for me to pick it up.
