Since I bought them as a gift I had misplaced the receipt. I brought them back in the same box that they put them in and the woman basically laughed and said "sorry, nothing we can do". "Why don't you try brining them to a jeweler to have them repaired". I almost laughed myself at how ridiculous this suggestion was. I paid around $10 for the earrings so it's certainly not about the cost, it's about the principle. It's quite pathetic when a "local" store is unwilling to stand behind the products they sell. I'm certainly fortunate that it was such an inexpensive item. This time I ordered 2 recliners Crazy Deal online. Crazy deal means you get a gift card to spend in-store for the same amount as the item costs. So, I spent $700 on 2 recliners and received a $700 gift card (essentially getting them for free!). But, what really stood out was the customer service at the Ossipee store. Jessica and Jared went out of their way to help me get the recliners into my car (had to make 2 trips). Even though I measured, the boxes were too big. Jessica and Jared took the recliners out of the boxes and put them in my car! They were wonderful. I will definitely order again and continue to be a regular customer. Thank you so much!! I love NH!

My boyfriend explained what he needed. He was given 2 options that fit his needs. He was told one option is what "all the guys in construction get. It's heavy duty." He also said something to the effect of if you can afford it. My boyfriend is Hispanic and I thought that micro aggression of assuming he did construction was rude, uncalled for and low key racist. My boyfriend didn't pay it any attention but I had to throw in there that he is a police officer so it didn't need to be heavy duty. The guy working there just looked at me like go away. The store is extremely well stocked and they have so many different items you must take time to aisle by aisle and shelf by shelf. Nothing is over $1.00 which is unlike many others that state "most items $1.00. They have great back to school items, greeting cards and wrapping items. With $20-30 people can leave here with quite a large score of items. The back of the store has a refrigerator and freezer section with all items still only $1.00. They even have rib eye steaks, yes I did say rib eye steaks. They were pretty thin but very lean so for someone who is on a limited budget you can get a few and have a pretty good meal. Need to check the size of some food items as the packaging may be smaller than what you would pay in a regular grocery store so comparing item for item pricing is probably not a good idea. For example the Italian ice normally comes on a box of 6 which are 4 ounces each and here they are a box of 4 with each one only 3 ounces. So make sure you do check for comparison but really for $1.00 hard to go wrong. Many dollar type stores usually have food and snack items which are about to expire or have expired but all of the food here that I have looked at have a pretty long shelf life so safe to purchase snacks and food here from what I can see.
