Our last charter was with Capt Brian and we can't say enough good things about him! Capt Brian's son Luke took the reigns this charter. Our crew today consisted of Luke and Derrick. Luke and Derrick were personable, knowledgeable, and just down right awesome. It helps that Luke has been fishing basically since he was born and he's been in several tournaments through out his life. Derrick also works at the marina and is very knowledgeable as well. We left the dock around 7:15 AM and were catching fish by 7:30. We caught three lake trout right off the bat. In the downtime between reeling in fish, we talked with each other as well as Luke and Derrick and had a blast just relaxing out in the bay. We made two loops in the bay and caught about 9 fish total, only throwing one back in the bay due to size and the limit. There's a limit of two fish per person. We were very happy with our catch! To top it off, Derrick gutted and cleaned our fish for us right there on the dock! We will be back. This crew takes credit cards. Also you can put the tip on your card. One nice thing about True Blue is they always make sure to give the primary (guest who pays) a little privacy so the whole crew doesn't overhear the cost or your tip amount. Oh! I almost forgot. We had our trip scheduled for June 23, but had some family events happen that prevented us from being able to fish that weekend. I texted Brian around June 9 and was like hey we can't make it, but want to reschedule. He responded almost immediately with dates he had available, even going as far as to offer up his Fathers Day for us. He said he'd get us in on June 16. That's right, he jumped at the chance to accommodate us and this crew gave up their morning the Saturday before Fathers Day to take us out on a week's notice.

We filled the box with lake trout in about 3 hours. They made it look like it was easy! You can tell they generally want you to have a good time and catch fish. Their gear is top notch. There's plenty of room on the boat for up to 6 people, maybe more (this is just my opinion). They have excellent gear with a combination of mono, braid, steel, and copper lines to get down to the fish. They have more lures than Bass Pro Shop and rotate through a ton of choices to find out what the fish are liking at that time. For our trip, they only had a short distance to travel to the fishing hole so this maximized our reel time. Their boat has a state of the art probe that measures water temp and current to pin point the best lure placement and trolling speed. We had an excellent time catching fish and telling fish lies (stories) in between bites. You definitely get your money's worth on this boat!

You wonder onto Groupon in a last ditch effort to salvage the day and that is just what my friend did, so seeing as Nauti-Cat was an option for the time we'd hoped for and the amount of people we had was like this has to be it. And it was! We got there a bit early because we wanted to ensure we didn't screw this up again and the process to get registered and ready was simple. After 5 minutes to get us all set, we walked over to the hotel next door just to take a peek around and it was lovely - the back deck off the water was gorgeous. The restaurant looked dreamy. Then we boarded the boat and left all the day's stresses behind. The tunes came on, the water was magical, the crew was nice and funny and let us just do our thing. They had a shotski and lots of vacation energy. I would definitely go again and would recommend anyone else in the area looking for a majestic, peaceful and relaxing boat outing to check it out!

Each person gets a drink ticket, and they give you cute metal souvenir cups with each purchase. The boat is a good size for the amount of people, as there are plenty of seats for everyone and you get a good view wherever you are at. It can get a bit chilly on the water so make sure you bring a jacket if its chill out. The staff was friendly and even made a cocktail for us that was not officially on the menu. The view on the lake is beautiful, and this is a great couples boat ride, or even to do with family.

It was worn through which would contribute to flats. For $44 you should get a bike with tires that aren't past being worn out. They brought us replacements but we lost 1.5 hours waiting. In addition, the replacement they brought my wife was out of adjustment so the shifting didn't work well. Wouldn't shift to some gears as the derailleur was aligned off to one side so 4 of the shifting clicks were the same smallest cog. All in all, super nice folks and they did apologize and offer us a free water for the trouble. However, the flats and bike condition were disappointing. If it stopped there, I would give 2 stars and not be back, but after bringing it to his attention, the owner reached out to apologize and make it right even offering a free rental on another day. Every business will have an issue from time to time, but not every business takes care of the issue and makes things right. Given the quality folks running the business, I'll be back and I'd recommend them since, when there is an issue, they take care of it.

We had booked a limo about a month ago for our bachelorette party, driver shows up with an old disgusting van because the limo "broke down." The company didn't even have the decency to call us and let us know before showing up with this atrocity of a vehicle. If they had, we could have had a little time to at least look for a different limousine to rent for the bachelorette party. Instead, the driver shows up and unapologetically announces that the limo we reserved was unavailable. We tried to talk to him and see if there was any way we could get what we were supposed to be paying for. APPARENTLY this company only has ONE limousine. HOW DOES A SERVICE SUCH AS THIS HAVE ONLY ONE LIMO? Astounding. Also- icing on the cake- the driver was absolutely maniacal. He whipped the van around curves way too fast. We also did a little off roading. We thought for sure we would toss our cookies and/or meet our makers. I had to call several times to speak with Mike who is supposedly the person one must talk to in order to "make things right". I left two voicemails and continued calling. While the rest of my party was tasting wine, I was sitting in the parlor trying to get ahold of this man. I finally got through, and he continuously talked over me just making things worse. He ended up giving us somewhat of a discount, but no discount could have made up for this... experience. ALSO this was a return visit for us. The first time we had these guys, they gave us the wrong vehicle as well. Long story short, if you want an event full of sickness and uncertainty, these guys are great. Spectacular even. But for a once in a lifetime event where you want what you pay for, stay away.
