Barrett's is a small shop run by a seemingly really good dude. Was where he said, when he said he would be. Also, I was transporting an antique car so I really needed someone to come who I could trust would take good care of it. He was recommended by a friend and I was pumped to find he was a clean cut, good dude. He even felt bad that when he dropped the car off it wasn't perfectly centered in the parking space. When I went back to get my car, there was a dog (that the staff didn't tell me about) that was barking, foaming at the mouth, and sprinting at me. I had to run to get away from this dog, which was on a chain that let it reach the entire entryway, and I saw staff come out and bring it in after they heard. When I went in, upset that there was an aggressive dog that I wasn't told about, I was told that the dog was chained up, that I was unreasonable for being upset, and that I should "watch my tone." Staff was incredibly rude, and didn't seem to care that this dog tried to attack me and had access to the area where I naturally would walk through to get my car. I am not someone who is afraid of dogs, but I don't appreciate having a dog try to attack me at a business and then being blamed for it.

This is a long review but please hear me out I've been…read moregetting my tires at University for a good while and have been satisfied until now So recently I got a set of new tires from University and a couple of weeks after getting them I started having brake problems like not stopping as good as I used to and the steering wheel shaking when the brakes were applied I asked a mechanic I know about it and he immediately said they probably over tightened the lug nuts or didn't use a star pattern like you're supposed to and the rotors were warped ( the brakes were perfect when I took the car in) What! I said, never heard of that but AI confirmed it So I called University to explain my situation and they got very defensive and said they use strict torquing procedures etc etc so I certainly wasn't going back to them and get charged for something they did (and BTW, the technician who put the tires on no longer works there) So I had a front end brake job done by another shop for $350 and when I asked if the rotors were warped they said " oh yeah" So, told you this was long I discussed this matter with the manager at the Eastside store feeling like I should be compensated for the brake job that I believed was their fault So found out today they're not going to pay me back for anything So if you've read this then DO NOT use this company based on the fact they refused to give me a single penny for ruining my brakes and not having the integrity to admit they made a mistake ( if I could give them zero stars I would)
