For needing urgent care in an unfamiliar place I was treated so well and really wasn't out much time at all. I could not believe how helpful and friendly he was. The other thing that helped during my pregnancy was how during one of my appointments I had an issue with high blood pressure and htye got me a couple bottles of water and some fruit to help me feel better.

With very few providers in the area it is so nice that Kaiser offers great knowledgeable doctors. The 5 min drive makes it easy for my trips with my newborn son who was born 2 weeks ago and the first week was so rough. The 2 female doctors including doctor Gossland who has been key in taking care of myself (my primary care) as well as my sons pediatrician. The clinic is very small and personal, just like everything in Waimea. I like the feel and the fact it is not super busy. The waiting room has about 15 chairs and a water cooler for fresh cold water, key for a new mom who is constantly breastfeeding and tired and exhausted. They also have a clinic to take blood work so You again don't have to travel the hour to go to Kailua. The only thing they don't have here is a pharmacy. You have to go to KTA or foodland. But really this is the only downside.
