This place still haunts me weeks after I witnessed the mess of a show they portrayed…read more Let's start by, the main character and his unsolicited, political, opening speech. He squabbled on how COVID is fake, social distancing doesn't make sense and it's all bologna. The show required ZERO social distancing, NO face mask requirements and made the first 15 minutes of the show "a personal venting session". My family and I were extremely confused on the performance. My husband and I, including my children left half-way through the show and we personally DO NOT RECOMMEND this establishment.

Great history and reenactments!…read more Came to visit Tombstone last weekend and was a beautiful sunny 84 degrees out. We didn't know about the show but the youngest actor of the four invited us to watch. Bought our tickets for the 2:30p show. Tickets are $8 each. Came early to get a good seat. The show is approximately 30-min and featured three gunfight brawl reenactments. The gunfight shows takes place indoors, after all, most of the the gunfights in Tombstone occurred inside saloons & brothels and are usually influenced by alcohol and disagreements over gambling (or women). The gunfights was entertaining and the actors engaging. Most of the gunfights in the Old West were spontaneous and very quickly started and finished as reenacted by the actors. Before the show we were warned that the gun fires were loud and they were real guns being used. We were able to take pictures and videos. The stage was a saloon setting. The audience seats were wooden bench (no backs). The actors were great story tellers and portrayed the real history prior to acting out the story. My favorite was the second one about the ugly shirt. Ahh! I wished I took a video. It was really funny. At the end there were photo opps with the actors. Don't forget to give them a good tip at the spittoon bucket as you leave! It is optional but they deserve it... -clap- -clap- -clap- Review #0284

The extremely rude ticket girl said, well the website says subject to change. Websites are not that hard to update on a regular basis. Plus, since it seems to be a seasonal thing, maybe say "different hours in March/April, call ahead." So, if you want to see this gun show, I suggest you call. We could have waited until the next show, but the ticket girl was so rude and unapologetic, we chose not to. Luckily, we were able to see the historically accurate Saloon Theatre gun show across the street instead, and the people were much nicer.

It was a great time taking the ghost tour. No paranormal experiences (honestly don't believe in…read morethat stuff), but a great trip through the town's history. Some of the information they give out is inaccurate, like the wagon hearse having taken the OK Corral victims to Boot Hill (this wagon wasn't built until about a year after the shootout), but there's a lot of history here to see. Do a bit of research on the actual history of it and you'll have a great time. The tour guides are a lot of fun!

I had to take a star off for that, but I get it though. I'm sure some people pay it. For us, on a budget we could see 4 other attractions for the same price, so it was a pass. That said the staff was friendly, and the gift shop had the coolest stuff. That's definitely worth checking out for freeeeeee.

While staying at the Monument Ranch in…read moreTombstone, AZ, you must wet your whistle and take in the awesome historic decor of the Old Trappmann Saloon. Friendly staff and and friendly travelers gather each night to have cocktails, dance to live music on select nights and take in the historic saloon. We had a great time and met many people from all over, including Canada. It really takes you back to the 1800's! The Monument ranch is a simply amazing place to stay for starters and The Trappmann Saloon is a great part of what make this place come alive at night. Buck and Burt entertained us all the night we were at the Saloon and boy was it a hoot. Not only are they a great duo that played all evening, but they even took requests. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. The beer was really cold and everyone was extremely friendly. There was a nice crowd of people, but not packed by any means. Some people who lived in town came out to enjoy the festivities, but mostly folks that were staying at the ranch. I would highly recommend you make a trip out to this really neat ole Saloon, even if you aren't staying at the ranch; it really is that cool!

The museum is on the left side of the building as you enter, and the library is on the right. So, I was specifically looking for the German Enigma cipher machine, which I've only encountered at the NSA museum at Fort Meade. Sure enough, they had one. I was thrilled since they're not that common. Of course, they had other interesting items, too. The library has plenty of reading material covering everything from the Revolutionary War to current-day conflicts and books on cryptology, which I find fascinating. They also have a gift shop that sells items for the United States Army's Military Intelligence Corps, including cups, hats, stickers, shirts,, and other items. Finally, this museum is separate from the other Fort Huachuca museum, which focuses on the 19th-century Army camp and Indian artifacts and photographs. If you get the opportunity, stop at the Military Intelligence Library & Museum and check out their German Enigma cipher machine, and other historical items.

The views are phenomenal and the rooms were super clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, the bar is a great spot to wind down, and Saturday night they had an amazing live band that made the whole place come alive. Butterfield was our winter home for 5 years. We loved it there and met and made many friends. When…read morewe got there this year and we met Jeff and Tammy the new managers. They were great for a while, then they cut karaoke, as it was done on a volunteer basis, because of head clashes with activities Director Vickie, then yoga, over excuses. Then if you asked about these activities they wouldn't speak to you. On the website it says you must be fully self contained, but they have been letting people in with converted vans, they were not self contained, dumping pitchers of urine down the drain, throwing the number 2 in the trash, not saying anything for trash being outside for 2 days in a pile, but yet we are the problem They will say that we broke rules, accused of my wife using the pool, though she hasn't been back since we left. They say we keep coming back to harass workcamping staff. None of that is true. The ones who left have been coming for years and have many friends in the park. Friends that have became family. We have lots of friends, some who no longer can get help from me as I got banned. For lies of speeding and using pool. Not true, at our new park we have a pool, why would I speed where many Friends live, why would I jeopardize that. But that was in email. We were told all guest must be approved by management, but they had open invitation to karaoke, at dances they let public come, as well as bingo. They changed the park for the bad. If you disagree with them you are considered hostile. Her favorite line is end of discussion before you get to ask the question. We moved to another park because we couldn't wait until May 7th to see if we were going to be allowed back, all of my docs are in Tuscan, as a disabled combat veteran I need to know I have a place to stay for the winter. They did away with the right of first refusal going away severely hampers patrons quality of life. And creates a lack of guarantee for the park of 6 months worth of income. They have so many work campers right now that it's crazy, they are having people fix and paint picnic tables. For 172 sites that's about 2 weeks work, they have 2-3 people doing maintenance most days, They have trimmed the trees and they look good. I miss being at Butterfield but I can't stay in a park where the manager won't take a few minutes to answer questions, and only hear one side of the story. Like I said they were great when we first got there in October. She will say we are part of a group, we are not part of a group, I do things because I want to not because I am a following someone, I would probably be leading the way. But she won't even open the dialogue with me about the lies that were said about me It seems like once you leave the park they consider you no longer allowed on the property, even if to visit friends. The person they are visiting, gets in trouble as well for rule number 24. I am sure she will respond with things that I have previously stated. What went from a great park to a not so great park I will miss Butterfield and already do. Yes I left under my own accord I am not part of a group I hate great people getting treated badly.
