    The ticket details!

Highly recommend this fun family show! The actors are great and they are engaging and entertaining. Even my daughter, who hates everything, had fun. The ticket comes with entrance to other locations which I felt was confusing. The lady at the ticket desk sorta rushed through it ( there was a line) and then told me to take a photo. We didn't have any interest in the other stuff but had a great time. Also there gift show had the best stuff!!!

This is one of the must do things in town I think. Don't let them talk you into the other one in the bar down the street it's a waste of money and pretty lame. Everything in town is trying to get you to pay to see something it seems but this one was at least worth the ticket. You get more than just the show for your ticket here. You also get a newspaper telling you about the shoot out from that day in history and get to look through the area in the back with the stables and other old buildings and the rotating scene show in the little theater too. Only $10 and the actors definitely do a good job! Just like the movie.

What's a visit to Tombstone, AZ without a stop at the O.K. Corral? My reasonably priced $10 ticket gave me access to the 30-minute live reenactment, a view of the original 1881 gunfight site (with gunfighter positions as determined by Wyatt Earp), a 24-minute movie about the history of Tombstone and visits to historic buildings near the gunfight. It also included access to the Tombstone Epitaph with a complimentary newspaper about the gunfight. The reenactment was nicely done. The actor playing Doc Holliday sounded just like Val Kilmer in the movie - nice! I also liked the covered bleacher seats for the audience. Excellent!

I will be totally honest. This place, parked on one of the most storied and infamous spots in American Old West history, is full of cheesy fun that plays fast and loose with history. But, wow, it goes all in on the fun. Our ticket covered a tour of the property complete with a live blacksmith and artifacts from the 1880s, a gift shop stuffed with relevant merch that isn't overpriced, and contains a highly entertaining live show suitable for all audiences. The actual gunfight site is occupied by an ancient, life-sized "animatronic" display that plays and replays the famous gunfight at the vacant lot next to Fly's boarding house and behind the OK corral. Each gunfighter is represented but they barely move as audio plays out an old recording with actors and sound effects. This is pretty silly compared to the live show that is included in your ticket. Granted, the live show is also very silly but incredibly fun with live actors having a ball with the material. This show takes place near the actual site with a colorful backdrop and loud gunplay. Definitely a fun time. The legend is that the ghost of gunfight casualty Billy Clanton appears during these reenactments hoping to set the public straight about the battle. We checked during the show and the psychokinetic spike was not conclusive but indicative of an emotional spike from somewhere. If not Clanton, it may have been one of the McLaury brothers or a resident who died near there who had serious issues with the Earps and Doc Holliday. There were quite a few. The spikes coincided with appearances by the actor portraying Holliday, so it could have been someone who despised Doc or was note a fan of the actor playing him. (The entire cast was great, by the way. Ike Clanton was, in Lady Matilda's words, "delightful.") The OK Corral site is also connected to the Historama show. Your ticket comes with free admission to the show (as well as a free issue of the Tombstone Epitaph when you visit the museum up the street.) The show is a time capsule in and of itself, stuck in the late 1960s with a film presentation narrated by Vincent Price that also includes a rotating stage diorama covering the early days of Tombstone up to the early 20th century. It is quite dated and literally dusty. The film shows Tombstone at the end of the 1960s. It must be seen to be fully experienced. If you are a Gen-Xer like me, you will be transported back to your grade school historical field trips to such places where analog creativity opened up our imaginations. The show runs about 30 minutes and contains one of the most unintentionally hilarious moments involving Vincent Price narrating the murder of Morgan Earp and the diorama's depiction of it on stage. Again, it is something you have to experience as Morgan's body falls onto the pool table with all the drama of a Lego figure clunking to a hard wood floor. The staff was friendly and welcoming. While not for someone who is interested in real Wild West history, it is an entertaining introduction to the history and not only a look back at the 1880s but a reminder of how this history was told back in the 1960s.

This was the best trip I ever had. The weather was beautiful , and the people were outstanding. The food was great and the entertainment was the best. Learned a lot. The stores were awesome. I will be returning next may for another round of fun. Arizona is the place to relax, eat, fun, and education all in one !! The gunfights were great and the actors were so nice and taught us a lot. Thank you to everyone at the OK CORRAL !!!!

The show was great!! The actors were funny and kept us entertained by their jokes. Crowd participation is a must! Definitely worth the experience!

Gunfight show - Entertaining, reenactment of the actual gunfight but with a little humor, about 20 mins long - actors were very nice and offered to let me take a photo with them about 30 mins before the show while they were hanging out on Allen St; you could also take photos with them after the show Museum - lots of interesting things to see before or after the show also Souvenirs - shot glass was $7 which was cheaper than at the Bird Cage Theater

    Quick stop.

Had a great stop at this gift shop, museum, and shoot out show. A must do when in Tombstone. If you do anything, DO THIS! It made the town famous. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life for a longer video.

Arizona 01-2024 Tony and I went to the OK Corral in Tombstone Arizona where you have to pay an extra fee of $15 per person to watch them recreate the famous shootout with Wyatt Earp and his brothers Morgan & Virgil Earp with Doc Holliday against the outlaws. You can go inside the building and look around for free and the re-inactment is 3 times per day.

This was such a fun show! Family friendly with history and just enough humor to keep things moving. The photo gallery and museum are both very interesting. The actors were friendly.

My son loves westerns and has asking for years to visit Tombstone. We decided to finally visit and check out the gunfight show. The actors did a great job mixing in history with comedy. After the show, they even joked around with my 4 year old daughter. The staff were extremely friendly while staying in character.

This is definitely a tourist trap, but is expected since that is what draws people f(or the most part) to Tombstone. It's only $10 which is a steal. My friend and I decided at the last minute to buy a ticket to get some entertainment and support my fellow Zonies before headed back up north. The $10 gets you a couple of attractions, the main one being the live-action reenactment of the OK Corral Shootout. Do it if you have nothing to do, have kids, want to see some cheesy actors, and/or learn the real history of the Shootout.

He squabbled on how COVID is fake, social distancing doesn't make sense and it's all bologna. The show required ZERO social distancing, NO face mask requirements and made the first 15 minutes of the show "a personal venting session". My family and I were extremely confused on the performance. My husband and I, including my children left half-way through the show and we personally DO NOT RECOMMEND this establishment.

We didn't know about the show but the youngest actor of the four invited us to watch. Bought our tickets for the 2:30p show. Tickets are $8 each. Came early to get a good seat. The show is approximately 30-min and featured three gunfight brawl reenactments. The gunfight shows takes place indoors, after all, most of the the gunfights in Tombstone occurred inside saloons & brothels and are usually influenced by alcohol and disagreements over gambling (or women). The gunfights was entertaining and the actors engaging. Most of the gunfights in the Old West were spontaneous and very quickly started and finished as reenacted by the actors. Before the show we were warned that the gun fires were loud and they were real guns being used. We were able to take pictures and videos. The stage was a saloon setting. The audience seats were wooden bench (no backs). The actors were great story tellers and portrayed the real history prior to acting out the story. My favorite was the second one about the ugly shirt. Ahh! I wished I took a video. It was really funny. At the end there were photo opps with the actors. Don't forget to give them a good tip at the spittoon bucket as you leave! It is optional but they deserve it... -clap- -clap- -clap- Review #0284

Between the live music and the old historic vibe, I think it's one of the coolest experiences in town! The history behind the place is also really interesting. It's the second-oldest restaurant in Arizona and opened in 1880. The building used to be the Grand Hotel before it burned down in 1882 & was rebuilt, and there's a lot of history connected to it. The food isn't luxury dining, but I've never been disappointed with a burger or sandwich with some onion rings (really tasty btw). My girlfriend also loves the Macho Nachos. Even on a Tuesday afternoon in mid-April, this joint was bustling with live music, servers rushing about in their period costumes, and the chatter of happy patrons enjoying themselves and taking it all in. Whether a lover of frontier history, western cinema, or just plain ol' drinking in a genuine saloon, Big Nose Kate's screams, "WELCOME TO THE TOWN TOO TOUGH TO DIE!" Upon entering, our party was seated in a raised section above the main floor near the front windows. It was an excellent spot to see all the action (including a monitor playing the movie Tombstone, BTW) as we perused the menu of appetizers, entrees, and libations. The selection of specialty drinks was impressive, though I opted for a simple "Big Ass" draft pilsner (flavorful and locally brewed). My wife did order a Cowboy Sangria - and it appears wimpy drinks "don't go around here, Law Dog," because she thought it was good but a bit too strong. I actually had to finish it for her. (Such a chivalrous sacrifice!) But don't assume that Kate's is just a drinking establishment; there's quite a variety of eats, as well. Good-sized, tasty looking burgers and sandwiches passed by our table, which were tempting; however, not being overly hungry, we decided to sample a few of their appetizers as we moved on to another round of beers. The Buffalo Wings were good but nothing really special. The Soft Pretzel Basket - actually one HUGE pretzel served with cheese and mustard sauces - was warm, salty, and much bigger than anyone anticipated. It was enjoyed by our entire table. When visiting, don't neglect a trip to the gift shop, which can be accessed from a spiral staircase right in the center of the dining area. Their menu recounts that a part of this underground area was once the abode of the saloon's swamper, and you can even view his living cubby and mining tunnel when below. Of course, there's lots of branded swag available for sale down there, too! Big Nose Kate's Saloon is a must-see stop for Tombstone visitors. Priced aren't exorbitant, portions are generous, and the food and drinks are pretty darned good, as was evident from the satisfied looks of the diners and drinkers around us . You may even be approached by Steve, who offers FREE photos (from your personal camera or phone) with props and piano-top poses - now how can you beat that value? Make it a point to come on in, belly up to the bar, and enjoy the saloon's hospitality.
