The salad came later which was not even worth eating, the dressing was sugary and the leaves wilted. They could definitely lift their game food wise. As well as the usual steak and seafood menu items you'd expect, they offer crocodile, snails, frog legs and sword fish just for conversation starters I reckon. The quality and serving sizes always felt generous, but seemed a little less so on my last visit, so I'm hoping that was just a once off and not a sign of the times. I'll keep this to the point... The decor is terrible (way overdone and very blue). The service was friendly and attentive. The food was good, but could have been better. It's overpriced. The restaurant was completely empty apart from our group. I suspect this place will close down soon.

The staff is faster, more friendly and more efficient than...uh, something ridiculously fast, friendly and efficient. Properly frying food is a science. Time, temperature and technique dictate the difference between soggy/greasy and crispy/light. They have mastered the process and the results are evident in their products. This was particularly noticeable upon eating a piece of fried flake that my son couldn't finish approximately 2 hours after he'd ordered it. The batter was still crunchy and light, which is something I've rarely encountered with fried food. They also act a fish monger, selling fresh seafood at a reasonable price. Additionally they just relocated to a larger shop, and added a noodle bar. As far as the noodles go I've only had the hokkien mee so far as I figured it would be a good baseline and I'm pleased to report it was very good. This is my go-to fish and chips in Chelsea and I'm hoping it becomes my go-to noodle joint too.

The fish is fresh and picked out by the display in front of you. The batter isn't fatty which makes the seafood taste from the fish come through. I recommend Omega 3, its a little more pricey than your usual Fish shop but worth it.
