This store is located in a warehouse location, close to the gold line, all the way at the end of the suites. They have a plethora of Target brand items here, specifically home goods such as chairs, tables, couches, tv stands, etc. I took a look at the couch that I had been eyeing on OfferUp and it was in great condition! The couch was going for $200 at Target, versus here for $130 - a $70 savings which is not bad! One thing is, they don't have a return policy, but with prices that deeply discounted, it's easy to understand!

If you are a fan of the Huntington Collection in Pasadena, you'll be sure to love the Bargain Box. Just like the Huntington Collection, I can't call it a thrift shop since it's not like any thrift shops I've been to! Looks more like an expensive antique shop when you step inside. I was blown away by the quality of the available merchandise, especially the housewares and decor. It's very evident that all of the pieces on sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. All of the furniture and housewares are excellent condition, not to mention very well priced. Make a point to visit before Halloween! The store is all decked out with Halloween decor! The Bargain Box is managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. There's a small parking lot but there should be plenty of street parking available if needed. Also, be aware that the store has limited hours since it's managed by volunteers. It's only open two days a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm.

Clothing, jewelry, books...they carry a little bit of everything here. I enjoy browsing the racks and shelves even when I leave empty handed. Good to know: They are only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I suggest subscribing to their email list so you know the weekly happenings before you visit. The lot is on the smaller side and it fills up pretty quickly. There is plenty of street parking on Live Oak, but that also fills up on Wednesdays. If you arrive a little before opening there is usually a short line outside to get in, but there is never a mad rush to get in or anything, so don't let the line scare you away!

There is The…read moreSquare Plus retail store that is also within the food court area... the name is so fitting as the shopping center is called The Square LOL. Anyway, we looked over and saw dustpans. I've been wanting to buy a new dustpan because the old one was damaged when I had to use it to shovel snow a few weeks back when the high desert had a snowstorm. Yes, you read right... I used a dustpan to shovel snow (1st time shoveling snow + using a dustpan to do it) LOL... it wasn't too bad actually. One gray dustpan was $4.49 + tax... not too shabby and it's the sturdy type, too. I didn't check out any other items in the shop, but from what I can tell, they do have some nifty knick knacks, small appliances, general household stuff, etc. It doesn't have a lot of space for customers to walk around though... there are only 2 aisles really... the one closest to the entrance and the one on the other side of the wall LOL. I grabbed one dustpan, waited in line (wait wasn't too bad), and paid cash for it. The lady at the cashier was pleasant. She may have been the owner... not 100% sure though. If you happen to be hanging out at the food court, swing on by and see what fun stuff you can pick up from here. Happy Shopping!

Some products are of high quality, and you'd have to hunt for it. For example, I got nursing pots and a nice gardening shovel for only $3.27 total. The kitchen section also has essentials that I'd totally buy if I didn't have them already. They currently carry a lot of Christmas products. Similar to Rich E.'s review of this place, his TL;DR is quite accurate: "Cheap quality stuff at low…read moreprices." However, my argument to such a poignant statement would be context matters deeply. As someone who is newly moved (I hate moving by the way, top 3 worst things in the world to experience), StockMAX was a fine location to look for items that might be a good solution for a few years. Similar to fast fashion, furniture and decor seem to be falling into the same trend of get new things every season. Rarely are things made to last as long as they used to be. However, with a different perspective you can see how StockMAX might find its audience better with those looking for solutions now with items that won't break the bank, but give luxury, even if it's only for a year or two. The space is essentially a large open floor warehouse. It is mindfully curated and has their goods placed in easily recognizable sections, ranging from cabinets, tables, chairs, desks, and random accessories you might want like ice makers, sensor activated trashcans, and step ladder shelves. They even have lawn furniture which would easily cater to any backyard activity and elevate your space. One of the best finds for me was a wide faux leather swivel chair. It has the air of avant-garde without the price you'd pay to be an aristocrat. Luckily, sitting on it brought forward a sigh of relief that it wasn't just aesthetically good looking but comfortable as well. Honestly, I'll probably end up buying it in the next week or two. That's not to say there aren't some stinkers. Most of the cabinets on sale look great, but when you get closer you realize the cabinet shelves are actually fabric instead of wood. Many of the desks look shabby and possibly breaking if you erased too hard on it. Some stuff just looked ugly. But, overall I saw more good than bad. All that being said, the statement of "cheap quality stuff for low prices" is still true, but hopefully now you can see where the value comes. Coming to StockMAX won't take up too much of your time, as you could probably speed run the whole place in 7 minutes, but if you are looking for an item here or there to tide you over for a bit, StockMAX might make your day.
