He was very communicative--even with the 13 hour time difference, I was able to coordinate with him easily. I had my husband be taken out of the house three hours before the party to set up... the balloon arch was delivered right on time. The photographer showed up half an hour earlier than the party. The magician I wanted to hire was booked somewhere else and I only found out a few days before, but the balloon sculpture artist Mark recommended instead was an absolute hit with the kids as well as the adults, which was a pleasant surprise. He made my husband the most outrageous birthday hat. Right when he was supposed to be done, one of the kids tripped and popped his balloons and got upset, and he stayed longer to make him (and a few other stragglers) more balloons. Truly kind. The photographer David was also really so helpful, friendly, and on it! He came early and helped with some of the set up... he was attentive and also very nice to talk to. Very natural (sometimes it's awkward when a photographer's in your face taking pictures but it wasn't awkward at all). We got a USB full of pictures right after the party! They were professional, organized, friendly, and attentive to any request! MC Daniel did a great job engaging the party guests and working with the event staff to keep the party moving. He made sure to check in with us and our daughter throughout the evening to make sure everything was going as we wanted. DJ Jason played a great set of music. He had every request queued up and ready to go. Party guests, young and old, had a ton of fun dancing the night away. Photographer Roland was very easy to work with. Every time we saw him throughout the night, he was working hard to capture fun memories. We can't wait to see all the photos! And, whether showing the guests some great dance moves or helping to manage the line of teenagers at the photo booth, Ryan and Marc worked hard to make sure we all had a wonderful night. We relied heavily on recommendations and when my MOH recommended Sound Explosions, I set up a meeting. Turns out, their business was 5 min from my house and that we all even had mutual friends. Small world. It broke the ice immediately, but even if it hadnt, Mike and Steven made everything super comfortable anyway. We met a couple times to discuss and it was always easy. They listened to what I wanted, dealt with my over organized personality with a smile, and understood us as a couple. Frankly, we were not conventional. The weirder or more unique something was, the better. From asking Steven to not wear black (which he didn't), playing uncommon ceremony songs to giving a sample playlist mainly consisting of reggae, Sound Explosions came through. They did exactly as we asked, and really allowed us to have a great party. Steven kept the party going, was lively, on time, and dressed to the nines. Several times I actually went to thank him for coming because he fit in as a guest so well. The mirror photo booth was a huge hit, and the staff even danced along all time. The next day when we went back to the venue, the staff told us we had the best wedding and that they were dancing to the music on the sidelines.
