Orange Chicken. Thick battered chunks of chicken and glazed in a sweet, tangy, citrusy sauce. I liked it.

DoorDashed it, so this review is only of the food. THE FOOD. - Beef Chow Fun | It reminded me of pad see ew; flat noodles with chunks of tender beef, cabbage, and onions. I wish it was a little more sweeter, but not a dealbreaker. This was still a very flavorful dish. - Vegetarian Egg Roll | A mix of stir-fried vegetables wrapped and fried until golden brown. Delicious. - Beef Broccoli | Tender beef and crunchy broccoli. Great flavors and generous portion size! - Orange Chicken | Thick battered chunks of chicken and glazed in a sweet, tangy, citrusy sauce. I liked it. THE RETURN? Yes, I'd come back for more beef broccoli as I have cravings for this every so often.

    Supposed to be Orange Chicken

horrible horrible .. not sure what it was definitely not chicken looked breaded only. Mongolian and chow mein incredibly salty

    17. Teriyaki Chicken

Ordered teriyaki chicken with a side of fried rice and chow mien. I was ecstatic to eat the juicy chicken to meet my protein needs. I get home and race to my living room. I put on my favorite show, open my teriyaki chicken ($17 for just chicken) and see the sea of ONIONS. I found maybe 5 pieces of chicken. The tray was extremely heavy so I thought, woah lots of chicken. NOPE. Onions. Skip this place.

    All of that is onion!

Some of my favorites have been every dumpling, egg rolls, the scallops, the filet mignon chow fun, and the pork fried rice. Meat is always tender. The Eggplant tasted like they had emptied an entire salt shaker into it and was inedible. Our server, for lack of a better word, Isabel, was extremely rude and inattentive the entire time. Isabel thought it would be a good idea to focus on the other tables while basically ignoring ours. The worst part was at the end of the meal after I had requested she take the charge off the bill for the horrible food. Isabel begrudgingly agreed to take it off with not as much as any type of apology. It then took her probably 10 minutes to return after gleefully chatting with other tables and walking by us maybe 4-5 times without making eye contact. Once Isabel produced her handheld POS terminal and asked me how I would be paying, I called her out on the lack of courtesy and basic manners. I asked her if she'd be apologizing for the lousy food and she literally said "No, it's not my fault." All the time she had this maniacal grin on her face that was not only out of place but a little on the psychotic side. Isabel kept glaring at me every time she walked by as if to say I don't owe you a thing and there's nothing you can do about it. After speaking with the manager (Shu) I understand how Isabel has this attitude. He was oblivious to the lack of decency and common sense displayed. He just kept repeating the fact that they had removed it from the bill without the least bit of remorse. All this time I was speaking with Shu, Isabel kept walking around with this crazed grin on her face to hear what we were discussing. I've honestly never experienced any server like her in my entire life. The best Shu could do was to tell me the next time I came in they'd seat me with another server. The next time? This speaks to the oblivious nature of the employees at China Moon. He actually thought that after that, I would be returning. Isabel was the weirdest server I've literally ever had in my life and it was clear at the end that Shu didn't have a clue about customer service or the dining experience. I would avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being treated like garbage by people that don't have any clue what service is.

My job is to help you avoid the tragic first‑date mistakes I've already made, like the overpriced spots, the bland dishes, the "why is this chair attacking my spine?" seating. I've wasted the time, energy and money on the other loser spots so you don't have to. But when I find a place that's clean, visually appealing, thoughtfully designed, and serving food that's actually seasoned, cooked well, and plated with pride? Oh, I'm shouting it from the rooftops. So let me put you on to my latest discovery: DIHO SIAM, right in the heart of Ladera Ranch. If you've followed me on Yelp for a while, you already know I'm a lifelong Thai‑food fanatic. I've been loyal to Thai cuisine longer than some people stay loyal in relationships. Since I wasn't trying to overeat, I ordered an appetizer, and let me tell you, this "appetizer" came out looking like a BIG FULL-GROWN lunch. I'm not a big white‑meat gal, so I asked if they had anything with dark meat. I ended up with chicken wings and drumsticks in a sweet‑and‑sour sauce. The moment I cut into that chicken? I ascended. The breading had that perfect balance...not too salty, not too bland...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I'm not saying I had a foodie‑induced spiritual experience, but if I did, nobody needed to know. One look at the rest of the menu and I knew I'd be back. Yes, I will absolutely make the 45‑minute drive to try their lunch dishes. It's worth it. And the prices? Shockingly reasonable considering the economy is basically held together with duct tape and vibes. Now, my one note for the owners: please, for the love of all things holy and iced... offer a dairy‑free Thai iced tea option. It was 94° today, and I was ready to down two giant glasses, but they only use half‑and‑half. This is California. We are oat‑milk, soy‑milk, almond‑milk, "I'm‑on‑Ozempic‑don't‑judge‑me" people. Give the people what they want. Add oat milk to the menu, put a cute little 4x5 flyer in a clear acrylic stand on each table announcing your new dairy‑free Thai iced tea, and watch customers flock to it. And just to close this out on a high note: I'm 100% coming back to Diho Siam. There are way too many dishes on that menu calling my name, and I fully intend to answer. Consider this my official teaser...I'll be updating my Yelp Elite Squad review after my next visit, and trust me, people wait for those updates like they wait for a second date after a great first one. I might even give you an extra star and make it a Five-Star review! Wink! wink! Stay tuned, because this place has officially earned a spot on my "must‑return" list. And don't forget to give me a thumbs up or a heart if you like my reviews and follow me!

The crab xiao long bao also tasted good, but several dumplings in the box had broken open during delivery, so all the soup leaked out (see photo). The beef rolls were decent, though the sauce leaned a little too sweet for my taste. The scallion pancakes were flavorful but slightly greasy. Overall, for the price and taste, I would still give it a solid 4/5.

From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome and rushed out by the staff. I came in intending to enjoy a full dine-in lunch experience (appetizer, soup, entree, and dessert). I started by ordering fried rice and a beer, explicitly telling the staff I would be ordering more later. Red flag number one: they brought me two beers at the same time, forcing me to ask them to keep one in the fridge so it wouldn't get warm. Red flag number two: they brought my food out in a to-go bag. When I reminded them I was dining in, they didn't offer a plate--I had to literally eat out of the plastic containers until someone finally offered me a bowl. The service only got worse. No one ever came to my table to check on me or take the rest of my order. I had to go to the counter myself to order the sweet and sour pork ribs. While the food itself was actually great, the service ruined it. After finishing, I sat for 20 minutes with a plate covered in bones and napkins. I made direct eye contact with four different staff members, and not one approached my table. Finally, I had to bring my own plate to the counter to ask for a box and a manager. I was told no manager was on duty. When I expressed how hurtful it was that every other table received table service except me, the employee became defensive. She claimed she asked if my beer was "to go"--which makes no sense, considering she opened it for me, and open containers are illegal in public. Instead of apologizing, she doubled down and insisted I had ordered to go, which is completely false. I couldn't help but notice I was the only non-Chinese customer in the restaurant, and the stark difference in how I was treated compared to everyone else made it feel entirely exclusionary. I will not be returning.
