If you are acknowledging there will be a wait be honest about it. Two groups who were served after me got their orders first. Waiting also sadly, allowed me to witness the owner (I believe it was, he was the main cook and eldest man), being quite blunt, rude and sharp with his staff on several occasions. Staff who I believe were his family? If you have an open kitchen be aware that your behaviour towards others is on show. When finally receiving our takeaway... the meals were pleasant. I had the grilled salmon and this was beautifully cooked and very flavourful. The burgers we ordered were good, especially for a fish & chip shop, which can be substandard as they don't cook burgers as a main item. The chips were a big average, a little soggy for my likely, but again tasted pleasant. My salad was good - I'd like to have been offered a vinaigrette or dressing for it but wasn't and a larger salad serve would have been good as it was quite small. All in all, I'm sorry to say we will not be visiting this store again.

Came here for 4th of July as we are Americans and wanted to celebrate at an American style diner…read more It was very easy making a reservation and finding parking nearby. Upon entry we checked in with the cashier and were seated at a reserved table. We both ordered burgers as well as cheese fries, a strawberry shake, and a dr pepper to drink. Now I was very much in between a 3-4 star review however because you can't do it in the middle I rounded up simply for their outstanding service and delicious burgers. They were the most "American-Tasting" burgers I have eaten since being in Australia. Fantastic quality and they even have a thousand-island type sauce!! However I was very disappointed with the milkshake and cheese fries. They took the term MILKshake literally and it simply tasted like strawberry milk. It was not thick like a regular ice cream based shake. I left nearly the entire thing on the table after having one taste. The fries were also a disappointment. Definitely don't expect them to taste like cheese fries back home. They simply had a cheesy sauce resembling nacho cheese instead of having melted cheese. However due to the fantastic service and incredible burgers I'm giving this place 4 stars. I will definitely be back for the burgers!

Between us we tried the southern fried chicken wings, the chilli, the choc malt shakes, the double beef burger, the burger special (spicy) and the Mac and cheese. The milk shake was awesome-great flavour. The Mac and cheese was delicious too-nice strong cheesy flavour. My husband loved his double burger but I found mine (the special) to have way too much mayo on it and it just overpowered the burger flavour and it fell apart in my hands. Finally the chicken was just a bit too bland for fried chicken. Plus fried chicken should probably be whole pieces of chicken, not wings (just my view on this though) The service was excellent and the tap beer was great too. Would go back for a standard burger and shake. Price was reasonable but I also have a little bit of an issue in paying nearly $15 for a burger and you still have to buy fries or something on the side. If I could, I would probably give Easy Street 3 1/2 stars but because I can't, I will round it up to 4 base on the great service.

When it came out it was nothing like that. When staff member serving was questioned we were told oh that is just a picture. As discussion went on he just got rude and walked away. Being a bit of a schnitzel fan, hubby insisted we eat there immediately. In trepidation, I scanned the menu fearing $30 meals however found the food to be quite reasonably priced! I ordered an American bun, being a Schnitz with mustard, pickles etc. Hubby went for a Thai style wrap. With drinks, this came to about $35 for the pair of us. Waiting for our meals, we admired the hipster decor that seems de riguer these days for any pimped fast food joint. Industrial chairs, custom wallpaper and the like. I did enjoy that we could see straight into the kitchen where the staff seemed to be quite cheerfully assembling schnitzels at a rate of knots! Our food came post-haste, and it was pretty darn good. Hubby chose this unfortunate moment to discover he is one of that percentage of the population for whom coriander tastes like soap, however apart from that pronounced his wrap to be great. My burger - essentially a huge bun stuffed with schnitzzy goodness - was amazing. Spot on flavours and a serving so big I almost couldn't finish it. ALMOST. Lastly, I must give a shoutout to the fries. Beer battered and served up with some "secret ingredient", they honestly were the best chips I've had in a long time. Thumbs up to this place, we'll be back- but probably to the one nearer to us at North Lakes!
