Waiting also sadly, allowed me to witness the owner (I believe it was, he was the main cook and eldest man), being quite blunt, rude and sharp with his staff on several occasions. Staff who I believe were his family? If you have an open kitchen be aware that your behaviour towards others is on show. When finally receiving our takeaway... the meals were pleasant. I had the grilled salmon and this was beautifully cooked and very flavourful. The burgers we ordered were good, especially for a fish & chip shop, which can be substandard as they don't cook burgers as a main item. The chips were a big average, a little soggy for my likely, but again tasted pleasant. My salad was good - I'd like to have been offered a vinaigrette or dressing for it but wasn't and a larger salad serve would have been good as it was quite small. All in all, I'm sorry to say we will not be visiting this store again.

He then handed over our menus and gave us a few minutes to look over them. They has interesting homemade drinks so I decided to start with the passionfruit one. For my burger I ordered the Classic Cheeseburger but added on caramelized onions and also got sweet potato fries as a side. The food came out relatively fast and I was very impressed with the quality. The classic burger comes with a homemade sauce and it was quite interesting. Almost like a hollandaise mixed with relish type of sauce. One thing Ive learned in Australia is Thousand Island dressing is VERY rare and almost every burger spot has tomato relish. However I truly appreciated that they had their own original sauce here. Will definitely be back in the future. Also don't forget their loyalty stamp card.

Plus fried chicken should probably be whole pieces of chicken, not wings (just my view on this though) The service was excellent and the tap beer was great too. Would go back for a standard burger and shake. Price was reasonable but I also have a little bit of an issue in paying nearly $15 for a burger and you still have to buy fries or something on the side. If I could, I would probably give Easy Street 3 1/2 stars but because I can't, I will round it up to 4 base on the great service.

This cafe is one of the 'last bastions' of small business as they have a history spanning 40 years and the owners mum (original founder) is still out the back' 'cooking up a storm. She is out engaging with guests and regulars and together with her son make you feel like you are eating at their home. Once you park you just take the elevator up and find the restaurant on the outside of the plaza. There is usually a worker outside that can answer questions or show you the menu. It's a mixture of their classic burger and their shroom burger. The thick shakes are incredible as well. The strawberry one is my favorite!
