We had turf installed 6 months ago by Big Bully. The installation went as planned but after a couple of months we saw a section that appeared to "bubble" up in our yard. Due to some health problems I waited to call them to come and take a look to see what the problem is. I finally called them, sent the pictures they asked for, and waited for their reply. I had mentioned in my initial call that it might be roots causing the problem. I should never had said that as they sent me an email saying they would come out to take care of the problem caused by the roots at the cost of $450. They assumed that was the problem without ever coming to take a look! Even if it was a root problem, that would indicate an installation problem as this was just installed 6 months ago! Needless to say, I'm done with them and would not recommend them. Stay away from Big Bully! read more

In May, 2025 we had a Rep come to our home to provide us with a quote for turf based upon a cad drawing from the pool company for our complete renovation of our backyard. He initially seemed professional as he did not have all the answers and said he would like to come back with someone who had more experience. He was here for quite a while taking measurements, pictures, and lots of notes. He promised he would get back to us in a day or two with a quote and to schedule a time when he could return with another project Rep. We never heard back from him. We continued calling him several times because he didn't respond. I reached out to another person from the company and our original Rep finally called back and was quite rude and disrespectful. He admitted that he "lost" all of his notes, pictures and measurements and he had no intention of coming back to start over. As a matter of fact he said that when jobs start off on a bad note like this (his mistake and lack of organization), he feels that we wouldn't work well together. Well he was correct about that! We agreed after his lack of professionalism, lack of organization and rudeness - there was no way we would give Big Bully Turf our business. Just today, 8.5 months later, we received a follow up text asking if we were ready to finish our project?!? NO, I would not recommend using them. Sadly, it sounds like they have a great product especially for dog owners, but we've moved on. read more

Highly don't recommend this company. The customer experience is horrific and no one responds accept to take payment. Scheduling was horrible and the coordinator never responds (Brittney M). After I called corporate someone finally called me the next day (Jacob). Nice guy but then when the project manager came out, only then did they say that it was a crap job and the seam wasn't done properly. The install crew shows back up and says they can do much because the turf is burnt from wherever they stored it. Now I am sitting with a "warranty claim" from a brand new install. We have four dogs and had a dirt backyard. In the desert that made things messy most of the time. The turf is a game changer. What a difference. It looks beautiful. The dogs love laying on it. And the turf has a sound abatement feature I most certainly did not expect. The green is a stark contrast and really pops. The crew is great. I requested a quote from Big Bully Turf and met with Scott Bridger to design the layout of my yard and to get a quote. Scott was very detailed and attentive to our requests for services and even something different like removing a built in grill and capping the gas lines. POOR communication. After "Final Inspection" never heard back from them. Materials left in front yard for weeks. NO phone calls from management. Just recordings from people you can NEVER reach. Was told drains would be "Under Turf" NOPE yard looks fake with the "under Turf" drains in plain sight. Buyer beware and do your homework. Call around unless you like the sound of crickets because that is all you will hear from these people once they have your money. If your product is as good as you claim and drains as good as you claim WHY did you do this in my yard? I don't think people want to look at this when enjoying their yard. read more

I would first like to say I have no idea how they install and the quality of the turf that BBT installs because the negative issues are with sales person that came out to our house and the hard pressure tactics and negative interactions. He came to our home to give a bid, said he would have a price for me before he left the site and warned me their sales prices would end on the same day. After measuring, he told me we could go into my house and sit down and talk about the price. I Informed him we would not be going inside due to personal reasons, but offered to sit in the back covered patio, he went to his truck, retrieved turf samples, then said when is your wife going to look at the samples? I offered to walk the samples inside to show my wife, then was irritated and said when is your wife available? I informed him I was going to make the decision for the family, she did not need to meet with him today. He then just got irritated and left saying call back when we were ready, both of us! He promised a bid price on the spot, then reversed and said he was leaving and for us to set something up. His angle was most likely to put a hard sales pressure? Terrible business model! Their sales rep measured our area, quoted $2,500 total. We agreed, signed a ducusign contract. Been waiting approx (3) weeks to schedule installation. Received phone call our rep had quit, they'd have to sent new rep out to measure area. His measurement were more for same area, but he stated several times there wouldn't be any additional cost as it was their mistake. His boss called today to inform us the "new price" would be $5,800!
