Pizza was amazing. Ingredients were very fresh, meat and cheese first quality and crust was delicious. Totally recommend this place for excellent pizza. Hope to get back down to this area again soon to enjoy. Small but owners are very friendly

This is a wonderful place for dinner in west Texas! Great location for coming out of the park, but also a nice place to eat while in town!

The COVID pandemic was starting to close in on us when we pulled into town to visit Big Bend NP. Big Bend Pizza was the local pizza place in Marathon, TX, where we were staying (they also have an AirBnB!), and was touted to have the best pizza this side of Texas. For dinner our second night, we chose the supreme pizza for dinner, and can definitely confirm that it's not only the best pizza in the area, but the best pizza we have ever eaten!!! (And we've eaten a lot of pizza in our lifetimes.) There are two major criteria: 1. The thinness and crispness of the crust 2. The toppings to crust ratio In both of these categories, Big Bend Pizza excelled. The crust was wonderfully thin, and the crispness definitely held up under the weight of the toppings. As for the toppings to crust ratio, there was very little crust showing around the edges. (I didn't measure, but it was about 1/4" - 3/8".) It was perfect, and it didn't hurt that we were famished from spending the whole day in the park. I don't know when we'll ever return, but whenever I have a slice, it'll have to be pretty special to surpass this pizza. Thanks, Janet and Wesley!

Great local stop for a pie to eat in to take out!

Great local stop for pizza! Lots of standard favorites to choose from. Indoor and outdoor seating options. If it's a holiday week, check the hours posted as many in town take time off to spend with their family.

Good pizza at a fair price in the "sleepy" town of Marathon. The hubby and I met friends in Marathon so that we could visit Big Bend Natl Patk. It's a good thing that I had already read that dining out in Marathon can be difficult, as most of the town shuts down at 8pm. We arrived at this pizza spot at 7:40pm. The lady who runs the place was very nice and welcoming. Not only did she make us a yummy pizza, but she also gave us a map of Big Bend, and some tips for trekking around the park. She even didn't toss us out at 8pm, even though the restaurant closes at that time. I do greatly appreciate small town hospitality. The crust and sauce is homemade, so the pizza is tasty. When we head back to the park, we're definitely enjoying another pie here.

If you want a delicious homemade pizza in Marathon, this is the place to go. Two of us split a 12" supreme pizza with jalapeños. The thin crispy crust was perfect, and the toppings were all tasty. Everything is made fresh to order, so expect a wait (especially if it's busy). Big Bend Pizza is BYOB, so pick up some beer or wine at the French Grocer's and enjoy a drink while you wait and dine.

After a long day of hiking Emory Peak in Big Bend National Park, we rewarded ourselves with this delicious pizza. Placed order at 730 and picked up at 755 right before closing. I was pretty surprised at the quality of this pie in a town of 400 people. The crust was perfectly crispy and the thickness was not too thick and not too thin. It's hard to find such a good balance. Toppings were fresh and tasty. The sauce was very flavorful and robust. This is a must try for anyone in town.

One of about 3 places to eat in Marathon, come eat your crispy cheesey pizza here. The owners exude small town friendliness and offer any great tips about the park and area you wish to know. The waitress cashier owner rolls out the dough for your order as its ordered. Then she piles the veggies on in a tasty arrangement. There's no ice here! Drinks are from a can or bottle. The small dining area has about 6 tables and one restroom. Great place to eat and hang out.

We started with the salad, which was a solid opener--fresh, generous portion, and overall enjoyable. Nothing that really stood out, but definitely not a miss. The pizza was... okay. You can tell it's fire oven cooked, which is usually a win, but ours came out a bit too toasty--borderline burnt on one side. It also wasn't cut properly, which made things a little awkward. Some slices weren't cut through at all (had to ask for a knife), and others were uneven--ranging from oversized wedges to tiny slivers. Service was a little scattered, but to be fair, we came in toward the end of the night and our server mentioned it had been a hectic evening. No real complaints there--just felt a bit rushed and disorganized. A couple of downsides: they close at 9:30, which isn't ideal if you're looking for a late-night bite or drink, and there's no room service--you have to head down to order. Overall, it's a convenient spot if you're staying at the hotel and need something easy, but it's not necessarily a destination meal. Convenient? Yes. Notable? Meh.

I had a fresh Cobb Salad with romaine and butter lettuce, cherry tomato, chicken and bacon. The avocado and fresh goat cheese blended in with a whole grain mustard vinaigrette for exceptional flavor on the lighter side of decadent. Grab a Topo with lime for a refreshing placebo buzz. Service with a smile.
