As a rock band that pulls from blues, the Beatles, and Led Zeppelin, we need someone who understands that classic sound but can keep things sounding modern and crisp--Rain nails this balance every time. Rain has also mixed everything we've thrown at him, and the results are consistently fantastic, bringing that warm, timeless quality we're chasing. The live room is cozy, but we've comfortably tracked guitar, bass, and drums simultaneously with no issues. Rain's got a gorgeous upright piano that sounds incredible on recordings, and the control room setup is stellar--big console, comfy couches, clean bathroom, and in all our sessions I've literally never experienced a single technical hiccup. There's also a sick bagel place up the street! But honestly, Rain's biggest strength is just being a phenomenal person to work with. He's patient, understanding, and always willing to experiment with different setups and sounds until we get it right. He keeps the vibe immaculate. Without hyperbole, I've never once felt rushed or stressed in a session. Plus, he's got great musical instincts and will offer suggestions that genuinely improve the songs. If you're looking for a world-class recording experience at fair rates with an engineer who truly cares about your music, Goose Room is the spot. You'd never guess such a professional operation was tucked in among the other businesses on the block. 10/10, will record there again and again and again.
