I cannot believe the experience I had with this business! I just got back from picking up my bike…read morethat I only purchased two months ago. The derailer hangar snapped and needed to be replaced. This is why I left extremely upset! I bought the bike to go on rides with my son. I bought a separate seat that is attached to the middle bar so my toddler can ride with me. Last week during my ride we came across a cross walk where I began to cross and needed to shift gears up as I had just came from climbing a hill. While in the cross walk I began to shift gears down and the chain came apart causing my back wheel to be stuck. I had to carry the whole bike with my son it to the other of the cross walk. The following day - contacted customer service for help. I was placed on hold, then HUNG UP on. I immediately called right back and got the same woman who then told me she could NOT help me because I exceeded the 30 day return. She mentioned that she would have exchanged it but the bike was sold out. She then informed me the only option for me was to contact warranty and she referred me to my manual for the number. Next day - google GT warranty. Department was closed after 5. (Called when I was off work) Day after - called warranty and was transferred to a different warranty because they handled my brand bike and found out the department was CLOSED due to COVID. I then contact DICKS customer service and some guy answered who seemed like he just woke up out of his sleep and was high. I couldn't even believe it. He was so out of it... slurring his words... couldn't remember the things he was saying... and his sentences didn't even make sense! He told me that the bike had a 90 day return policy and to bring it to the store for return. Because of my strange interaction with him I contacted my local Dick's sporting goods and spoke to the manager Becky. I told Becky my experience and asked her if it was true that I could return my bike. She told me that it was not and told me she understood the frustration with warranty as she has experienced the department being closed as well. She made me feel understood and knew exactly what I was talking about. She told me to bring the bike in the store and that we could fix it. She gave me a heads up that it would be a first come first serve and I was fine with that as I was in no rush and just wanted the bike fixed. I offered to buy the part on Amazon as it cost about $20 and could possibly get it quicker than if they had ordered it. She told me not to come out of pocket that the store would just go through warranty. I was so happy to have spoke to her because I thought finally some good service. Next week - I bring my bike in. I walk to the back where I knew the bikes were located and came across Bob who mentioned he was about to be off and to go the front where I will need to fill out papers. So I go back to the front and waited to fill out papers. The girl assisting me was helping so many other people I was just standing there. Not to mention I had my 3 yo old who wasn't as patient. I filled the paper work Bob comes to the front and tells ME what happened to my bike. Basically telling me that I dropped my bike (which I never did) that he can tell because of the scuff marks (my bike came with no kickstand and when riding my bike I def brush the pedal against the wall when I come to a stop at a bench) he mentioned the oil on my spokes came from the chains coming off because the hangar bent when I dropped it. Which wasn't true. Before bringing it my son had been spinning where the gears shift and was touching the spokes with hands. The fact that they were causing me what I DID with my bike made me feel a type of way. I didn't argue with him because that's what he thinks after fixing bikes for a long time that no matter what I said wasn't going to change his mind. 2 days later - Bob calls me to tell me my bike is fixed and ready to go! He was very pleasant to speak with and although I felt a way from him telling me what I did to my bike I was just happy that he fixed it so fast! He was kind and told me he was able to fix it faster than usually was because he had an extra part from a previous bike he had to fix. He told me I would not be charged for any labor and to just pay for the hangar. I expressed my appreciation because I anticipated it being there longer and told him I'd come after work to pick it up. While I didn't mention it to him that Becky told me warranty would take care of it I waited until I got to the store with hopes of Becky being there. Arrival - I go to the back and push the button since no one was in the section. Steven comes over and was RUDE from the get go. I let him know that I pushed the button and he was like "OKAY." I was expecting him to say something else and he just stared at me so I said "I'm here to pick up my bike" and he was like "Okay... name?" And so I said "Jacklynn" so he rudely opens the binder and keeps flip

I called and she suggested looking in my Spam folder. It wasn't there. I called back and asked if she could send me a paper copy and said she could get one out Tuesday. Perfect. So I 'm going through my emails and deleting several and was going to empty my trash folder, but I always look one last time before I empty it. What do I see? I see Chelsea's two previous emails that went right into trash, bypassing my inbox and Spam folder. I downloaded the DROS to my computer. I called my Internet Service Provider and the fault was theirs. Something in their system was dumping emails into my trash and not my inbox. That problem is now resolved. But I can't thank ASP enough for their patience and making every effort to help me...and in spite of me being annoying, they were nothing but patient and courteous . A++++bin my book.

They have a good variety of supportive shoes and sandals. They carry SuperFeet orthotic arch supports. They also carry some athletic wear and seamless/moisture wicking socks for runners, as well as massagers, lotions and potions for runners. Their shoe/orthotic fitting service is great! They 3D scan your feet and have you walk across a force plate and the computer spits out a 3D model of your feet so you can see how your arches look and how aligned your ankles are. They also show you where the forces are distributed on the plantar surfaces (bottoms) of your feet. Overall prices are not cheap, but you can't put a price on your health. You would be amazed on how good your feet can feel when you are fitted correctly for a pair of shoes and orthotics! They didn't sell conventional only some kind of EXPENSIVE worm type looking ones I sat down though while the clerk was showing me how they worked, but he soon took them off . We both sat and he was attempting to help me with tying up my old laces and my head was facing downward of course , and my long hair down around my face, when out of NOWHERE a big huge white dog (Shepherd comes UNDER my face LICKS my eyeball!!! I told the clerk OMG you saw that!!! I got up immediately went to the register and got my refund. The couple who owned the dog stood there so happy and smiling as I told them what happened and so did Sarah. Oh the dog is friendly is all they said, I said you need your dog kept on a leash and I told them what happened No reply except oh sorry well the dog is just so friendly Turns out I spent 5 hours at ER Kaiser, sat in the treatment room had a enormous eye wash sitting back in some sort of dental type recliner chair with plastic all over me so I wouldn't get wet, but it didn't help. The M.A and I were wet this was a two or more gallon square type container Doctor asked what happened. I told him he thought people should be MORE responsible!!!!!! He examined my eye and said my CORNEA was SCRATCHED!!!! I got medicated drops and return appointment in Optomology. What a freaking nightmare I went back to the store and told the manager Carol and she said she knew nothing about it. Apparently Sarah never told her about the incident which I had told Sarah all about in the office the next day after ER visit I asked Carol to put up a sign to keep all DOGS on a leash for now on In fact I told her a sign should have been in the window already. I told her I hope I see one in a week And I wasn't leaving her any good review I went a week ago and the sign is FINALLY in the window but it just went up about a month ago She didn't even put it up right away Maybe they will realize how CRITICAL things were that day for me!!!!! What if it was a Mama and her baby girl or a baby????? Then what??? And they were all just laughing and mingling and talking about the dog and so forth when I got up to the register, like it was nothing and just kept petting the freaking dog I had a 120 Shepherd part wolf many years ago and any and all of my dogs were kept on a LEASH and never brought into a store I hope that couple calls me or sees this and realizes how & what really happened that day I will never go back there In fact another lady walking past the store said she didn't like the store for that reason I tried to contact Carol to speak with her about a review but she was in Hawaii this month on vacation when I went in a week ago. I wanted to give her courtesy to let her know exactly what happened on that horrible day and I was writing a reviews and that she should have always had a sign in her window to begin with if she was going to allow dogs in her store that they should be on a leash Maybe everyone can learn from this Thank you God that my eye wasn't worse Amen

Based on how it broke, it seemed like a manufacturing defect. I went back to the store hoping they could help, but I was told that once the rod has been used even once it's no longer their responsibility, and I'd have to contact the manufacturer directly. The rod is a Penn Wrath II, for reference. That response was disappointing. When you buy from a retailer, you expect some level of support, especially when a product fails immediately. Just something to be aware of based on my experience, don't expect assistance from the store if there's an issue after purchase. It's alright, I just won't be doing business with them again, and neither will my friends or family. Edit: I should have read some of the past reviews before purchasing here, it looks like others have had the same experience as me.
