The good:
The shoes and promotions you might find at a good price, if you look for the weekly specials or clearance items. But other than that, this store has issues.
The bad:
1. The staff. I have been in there about once a month to look at shoes, gifts, or sporting goods. So I would say I have a good idea about how the store is operated. Staff is usually a bunch of teenage kids and maybe one adult who looks like they dont want to be there. I have had a cashier who was very rude, who did not even look at me or talk to me during ringup, instead she was chatting loudly and flirting with her co-worker the entire time. I have had stockboys who didnt really know what they were doing or what they were looking for. I have been mischarged for an item, even though it was labeled a certain price, the cashier told me it was an error, and even that "that was NEVER priced that" and I ended up paying double for the item. Why cant a store hire on ADULTS who are responsible and experienced and who WANT to work there, so that they will give shoppers a better experience? My number one complaint is with the rude, underaged staff. Staff should be way over 14 years old, knowledgable about products, and trained in good customer service.
2. Messiness/poorly organized. The manager needs to go at least daily to be sure the store is clean and organized, not with clothes thrown everywhere and shoes all over the place
3. Prices. You might find a deal, yet you might not. I've seen some of the items in here at almost double what you can get them at Walmart. So do some comparison shopping. Manager needs to have items priced correctly, and if they are priced at a sale price, they need to sell it for that and not have excuses and overcharge customers.
4. Outdated items. It is 3-21 and I saw christmas candy for sale by the register. I mean, you need to put items on clearance and get them out of there so customers do not get expired goods. I bought some of the quencher gum and it was hard as a rock! Probably had been there for years... Items should be rotated, winter goods should go on clearance before summer or be put away till the appropriate season. read more
