I have to disagree with the other reviews based on my first experience using this platform. A friend told me about the great deals she has gotten at BidFTA. I perused the site and and when my husband saw the Perfect Aire infrared heater, he said he wanted it, calued at $88 new. I placed a bid for $4.50 (.50) higher than the current bid of $4. The next morning I got a text saying I had been out bid and hgat there was only 30 minutes until the auction closed. So I bid again at $5.50. And was notified as soon as the bidding was closed that I won. I had 5 business days to pick up my purchase. The total cost was $7.90, Taxes, bidder fee??. All items must be picked up at a warehouse. The communication was excellent on bidding, opening an account, locations, dates and hours for potential pickup. All straightforward and easy to understand. I had read a suggestion from BidFTA website about checking out your purchase prior to leaving the store. You can open packages, plug in electronics checking to make sure things work and all parts are included. So my husband went to the front of the warehouse where they have electrical outlets to see if your purchase actually did work. This product was out of the box and dusty but worked like a charm. The clerk at the front door checked us out and was super friendly. We were in and out in a few minutes with a great bargain ans a new heater for our sunroom this winter. Plenty of oarking,xeasy to locate your item(s) in tge warehouse and easy checkout. You pay for your item before it is avaliable for pickup on a credit card you add to your account once you set one up. read more

I bought diapers that were listed as a size 5. Opened them at home, they are not a size 5 but newborn. I reached out to customer service and was told should have looked in box before I left. THEY made the error in auction description yet take no accountability. I also bought a mirror that was listed as new, got it hime and it was broken. read more

This location is moving. I hope that means that they'll be retraining the staff and overhauling their processes. Product photos could definitely be better. The facility could also be better organized. The staff is generally surly with a dash of insolent. I don't expect to be fawned over but I would certainly be happy with a little less direct disdain. read more

BidFTA is what I call a great little secret that everyone should know about. Basically it's an auction website where all the auctions are for pallet returns. Majority of the items go for very cheap prices and we have gotten some insane deals over the years. You just have to pay attention to the auction descriptions (if the item appears new or open box, etc) and also inspect the pictures that are taken. Some items could have damage or maybe missing box 2 of 5, etc. My only complaint if that you are given a pretty small window for pick up. Basically you have Wednesday, Thursday and Friday following your auction to pick up. I understand why this, they would need another warehouse if they held everyone's items for longer, but it is a pretty small window. If you aren't able to make it you items are gone, no refund. I'll be honest, I expected the employees to not really care to much but every single people there has been great. They will help you find things, explain the process if it's your first time, etc. Overall very awesome site and process for the treasure hunters out there. Like us! read more

Louisville, Ky store Buyer beware. Items need to be thoroughly inspected prior to leaving. Items will be listed as "new" but will be missing parts or not working. I bought a case of biofreeze patches that were listed as "new" and they expired 2 years ago. I have purchased items that were a good but I've gotten several items that were garbage. They will not do refunds or adjustments once you leave the building or on items not listed as "new". They need to be more honest about the items condition and they need to check the items prior to posting them for sale read more

DENIED ME PURCHASED ITEMS DURING PICK UP Mason OH store denied me my purchases items once I arrived to pick them up. I arrived morning after "last pick up date", items were still in allocated isle and not yet re-entered onto auction platform, but a tall male employee denied me the items and told me I forfeited my $122. My invoice was also charged an undisclosed 17.3% Premium Fee during bidding, for which there is no explanation or policy. Another item we picked up at Mason OH store had an undisclosed 18.4% Premium Fee. Invoice also shows $3 added for freight surcharge which is undisclosed during bidding, but is only disclosed on the invoice. I was "on-time" for for another item pick up, but could not locate it in the messy, disorganized, chaotic store. My small item was supposed to be in a large box where other items are simply dumped. Several packages where open with contents spilling out into the "dump box". The online product photos are very poor, not providing much detail to help locate items. The check-out lady with dark hair was very kind and apologetic about mislocated item and money forfeiture. But this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. BidFTA is not accredited with Better Business Bureau, however their rating with BBB is 1-star...go figure. No customer service, just plan GREED! Big warning if they list it as is, they don't care if it's the same product or part of a product at all, I showed up to pick up a recliner, when saw it the box said 1 of 2 which was not stated anywhere on the ad. I brought this to their attention at check out, immediately asked if I opened it, even though the box is practically falling apart and I told them no, they proceeded to tell me it's a recliner and what I bought even though it's half a recliner! Once again not listed as 1 of 2 anywhere on the listing. They refused a refund, coming from their help site, manger, and door worker. THEY WILL SCAM YOU EVEN IF THEIR DESCRIPTION IS WRONG. BUYER BEWARE!!!! To those I have told about this site, BidFta, I apologize. We just learned a hard costly lesson. Got burned on 3 purchases made at the same time. I have reported to BBB and written reviews on scam and review sites. Here is what happened. This website was recommended by a friend. We checked it out and found a couple of items we were looking for and decided to bid, knowing that condition was as is. We expected maybe scratch or dent or missing hardware maybe. Dan drove to Louisville to pick up 2 items. The first item bought was a tonneau cover for a long-bed Ford truck with several pictures showing the cover. Retail is around $1700. When he went to pick it up, at first he could not find it at all. When they did locate it in the wrong place, there was nothing but the rails and there was no cover, which rendered it useless. They would not do anything about it despite the false advertising. The second item was advertised/listed as a higher end - Brother, New Model PE900 Embroidery Machine, that retails for $1400. When we opened the box, not only is it missing ALL the accessories, it is NOT the sewing machine advertised, but a much cheaper model (SE700 with a retail retail around $500) in the high end box. Again false advertising and they will not take back since they claim as is. The item located in the Lavergne TN warehouse was a high end kitchen sink. There were several pictures in the listing showing it to be in good condition. While it had everything in the box, by the time we picked it up, it had been dropped and damaged to the point that it cannot be installed. After getting burned and reading several other reviews (which I wish I had done first) I am finding we are not the only ones to get scammed. People have reported buying furniture and only receiving a couch pillow instead of the entire couch as advertised or getting only half a recliner because they could not locate the other half in the warehouse. Several reported finding merchandise swaps where the item they thought they were buying was not what they received in the box they picked up. A couple of people bought large TVs and opened the boxes on site to find the screens were shattered and company refused to refund their money. Others complained that when they went to pick their items up, the items could not be located in the warehouse. After several weeks, they are still waiting on refunds. Horrible Costumer Service! Bought a tent, it end up being tent cover and boxes was 90% open. Guy with pink tank top, leggings and hair up to a bun come up to me with an attitude right away and when I told him I'm going to return this cause it seems like it's just a cover, he told me "you opened it before checking out?" I said no it was open, I just lift the box and it's light. It's heavy duty tent 20x40. He called a manager, told her that I opened the box before checking in. They went to look at the cameras to see if I opened it. When they saw it that I didn't open the box, then they start reading the description to see if it was just a cover or the whole tent. Manager said they going to talk to tech support if they could return my money. And in desperation it says "heavy duty 20x40 tent" not a tent cover. I have been here for an hour and still waiting for them to tell me to if they going to refund the money or not. read more

although the service has gotten much better, the quality of the items has tanked since since the new ownership. 99% of the items are total junk, cheap little items that nobody wants. for years, I was able to get high end items at an affordable price, but it is extremely rare to see anything of value these days. whoever is choosing the pallets to buy now should be fired. where are the Lowe's/Home Depot items, like kitchen cabinets? pottery barn? west elm? If you want an air fryer or instapot though, can get 5000 of them. We all have 6 at this point. what a disappointment... read more

I drove from out of town to this location to pick up a ceiling fan I bid on and won. The fan was 72' and the black and gold colors I needed. It was listed as 'good condition'. When we arrived, there were no carts available and we had several large, heavy items so inspecting the contents was nearly impossible. I hired an electrician to hang the fan in the unopened box. When he opened the box, he said the motor was missing! I paid $82 for a fan with the most important component missing and there were no gold accents anywhere on the fan. I contacted customer service and they replied with the same pre-printed condition identification I had received twice before. I have bought 'as is ' items with the understanding that something could be missing or damaged but this fan was not advertised as such. The way the fan was described is false advertising and I plan to file a complaint with the attorney general's office and BBB. I drove 100 miles to pick up the fan and paid an electrician for a service run only to have a box with blades and wiring without anything to attach them to.
