Learned while there that it's the first African American park in Charlotte. We easily found covered seating with a table not far from a basketball court and pickle ball court with games in play. We were also near restrooms which I meant to check out but from the outside the building looked new and well kept. Weather was nice out, park was not crowded. I saw a sign advertising music in the evenings every 4th Saturday. There's an amphitheater near the front of the park. We'll probably be back to check out the music. Really nice park!

They have seesaw for the kids, a spider web jungle gym, exercise equipment, restrooms, a huge field, and seating locations for everyone.
