A large number of ill folks, myself included, along with others there for new 2018 health insurance program stuff. People in the lobby were complaining loudly about the wait and the staff being behind. Once I was called back I realized some of the chaos. Rooms were switched to accommodate and elderly gentleman with a head injury and a Dr needed a special room. The staff nurses were charging without hesitation and the doctors were covering as best they could. We need to realize that sometimes they can get overrun but they are Doug the best they can. The front desk staff are absolutely pleasant, the nurse was just out of this world, and Dr Ko himself was just out of this world. He definitely is in the right profession. I was actually very impressed with the building. Interesting set up with "concourses" though. Reminded me of an airport. I didn't wait long before I was called to the back and the medical assistant was efficient and kind. It wasn't long before Kelley Stanford PA-C came in. She seemed friendly but after I explained my symptoms, she interrupted me and exclaimed that the medical assistant didn't put that in (which totally undermined the medical assistant and was unnecessary to say in front of the patient). She even chastised me slightly for not coming in sooner. I tried to explain that I'm a nurse and my husband is a doctor and I was doing what I could for myself before having to come in. She cut me off and said to lay on the table. The entire time she complained about the table and said she hates when people that aren't elderly are put in room 1. She even complained about having to go all the way to room 1 when I could have been put in a room closer to her. My goodness it was irritating hearing her complain, talking down about her staff, chastising me and talking over me. After some blood work, I came back to find an at home test kit was left in my room. No explanation on how to use it. The medical assistant didn't know I was a nurse, so she missed the opportunity to educate the patient. Before I left Kelley, went over some of the labs with me in a unprofessional manner with profanity (which was pretty surprising), and then sent me on my way with a few prescriptions. I get a call today from a nurse there to completely go over my results and said a referral was made. I asked to have my work excuse extended for just today. As I missed yesterday and today. She said no, and another provider won't do it either. She said I could go to the ED or go back in to their clinic to be seen to have another note written. Absolutely ABSURD!!! She said she will tell Kelley on Saturday to write an extended note. This basically means it won't get done. Terrible service from the "professional," but great service from the front desk. Shame. I won't go here again or recommend anyone go here to see Kelley Stafford PA-C.

The office staff was friendly, the nurse was attentive to my concerns and relayed them to Dr. Stutzman. When the doctor came in she was the perfect amount of calm and concern. She asked questions and listened to my answers and concerns. She explained to me what options I had for testing and walked me through what the schedule would look like.
