Caesar salad was covered in shredded Parmesan, grabbed some lettuce from the bottom. Gary's catered the food. The basil cream chicken wasn't bad. The beef Marsala wasn't my thing at all. The pasta Alfredo was just ok, mushy, creamy as expected. The rosemary potato was quite mashed and soft, although wholly intact. The honey glazed carrots were not prominent or flavorful to me. The Caesar was so blah, quite a bit of rotten romaine lettuce in my two plates of salad though. :/

It brought us to decide to go to Al Malek. There is NOTHING negative I experienced at this restaurant! Everything was great! Greeted upon entering by the owner behind the counter. Told to sit wherever we wanted. The waitress came quickly with menus and to take our drink order. When she returned with the beverages, she took our order, along with bringing us a plate of bread, hummus, that was so creamy and silky smooth and pickled cabbage with peppercorns. We ordered the combo for two, since it offered a variety of meats cooked in a few different ways, sauces and salad. The salad would definitely rival Olive Garden in the amount they bring you, but much more tomatoes. It was fresh and crispy. When the platter of food was delivered, it was a sight to see! Piled high with different meats, onions, and hidden beneath it all, the rice! It all tasted great! We ended up bringing most of it home. We definitely had our fill. And there was so much left over! Next time we go, we'll definitely have to bring a couple more people with us. The food is so plentiful and tasty! I have stomach envy of anyone who could eat a good portion of this food! At least we have enough left overs for a day or two! Thank you to the other Middle Eastern restaurant located on Ford Rd. in Dearborn Heights for sending us to Al Malek! I can't be happier!

I came here to attend the wedding of a friend of mine last weekend. From the outside, it's a pretty unsuspecting building - kind of looks like your typical, kinda boring event hall. Nothing spectacular. But when you pull open those double doors..... You get your breath taken away. Intricate molding, lots of ornate lighting... The place is just GORGEOUS. I was truly blown away. The building is also freaking HUGE. My friend and her husband are both Lebanese, so they naturally had a humongous wedding (over 700), and they all fit inside that building. I was informed by another friend of mine, also a guest at the wedding, that she had recently been to another wedding at Bint Jebail that was over 900 guests. Holy crap that place holds a lotta people. The place is seriously beautiful. If you have the chance to check it out by being invited to an event there, take advantage of it. It's amazing!
