Had an amazing meal with outstanding service provided by Kamal. He was very nice and helpful as we were selecting the dishes. We are new to Indian cuisine, and he made sure we had a wonderful experience. We ended eating the following: Bhelpuri Chaat, tandoori Momos, Hakka Noodles, Lamb Biryani, tandoori roti, paneer kulcha, Gulab Jamun, and Masala chai tea. All of the food was very fresh with the right amount of spice. (We requested mild and it was perfect.) I give the food a 3.5 but the service bumps it up to a 4. Food is served a la carte and comes out as it is ready. The menu is pretty big for a small place like this and has a good variety of meals, street food and Indo-chinese fusion. We got the pani puri, chole batura, manchurian and jaipur chicken tikka. The food was good. I would come here if I were already in the area but probably not something I would travel 30-40 minutes for. read more

We have eaten at 4 or 5 Indian restaurants in the Lehigh Valley and NYC and this little BYOB gem is as good as the best of them. Samosas and Naan were fine. Shrimp Buryani was excellent with just the right amount of heat, tender small shrimp, and subtle spicing. Chicken Masam from the Tandoor was the best Indian chicken dish I have ever had with layers of heat and flavoring. All the food arrived hot to our table. We are adventurous eaters, we played it safe on our first visit but plan to bring our friends to explore the other items on the menu. If it was closer to my work I would get take out at least twice a week. read more

This is a small Indian restaurant in an unassuming strip mall with outstanding food. The tandoori chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy, not dry as is sometimes the case. The naan is a lovely addition to any of the meals. The samosas are large and spicy. The portions are ample and the service is very good. The owner is often there and she and the waiter checked on our table throughout the meal to make certain we had everything we needed. I have not tried the desserts but finished with a cool and creamy mango lassi. We are awaiting the opening of the second location which will be a little closer to us and a less complicated drive. If you like Indian food, do not overlook Bibi's Tiffin. read more

Absolutely terrible. Ordered the chicken vindaloo and also somosa via doordash. They substituted the somasa without approval. I had to call them to cancel it. Menu reflects vindaloo is chicken breast. Received order and it was thighs. Tried to call the restaurant and the guy was extremely rude and hung up on me telling me that the vindaloo is thighs. I told him that the menu says differently. I had to drive in 20 degree weather after trying to call three times to give them back their food. Will never order or go here. read more

This is in a very hard to find strip mall but it is well worth the hunt. The decor is really basic but tasteful. Here is the thing-the food is FANTASTIC!!! I have had Indian food in many states and countries (tho sadly not yet in India) and this is by far the best. Everything was fresh and super tasty. So good that we ordered more to take home and have for dinner tomorrow. The service was a bit slow-they do a lively take out business and I am guessing that made table service a bit slower. We were here on a Monday night and it was hopping. Still, the woman who takes care of the table service seemed to be doing a lot. There were two men in the back cooking. The restaurant is woman-owned and by any account quite successful. I think my only regret is that it is not closer to where I live! Great place in a strip mall. Ignore the bait machine outside, the food here is delicious. Large seating area and decorated very nicely with brightly painted tea kettles and tiny tuk tuks. Menu is very nice, they highlight the most popular dishes and I am working my way through them. Everything has been well prepared, timely and the people are super friendly. I can recommend everything I have had here, including the lovely chai masala tea. Puri, samosa and samosa chat are great starters none of the main curries have disappointed in the slightest. Southern options like masala dosa and a few other items are limited to lunch time apparently. read more

Our absolute favorite place for Indian food. Outside of Manhattan this is the best Indian food I've ever had. We didn't know what to expect when we decided to make a dinner reservation at Bibi's Tiffin earlier tonight. To be sure, the location (a strip mall) didn't suggest how good the food would be ... but we were INCREDIBLY (and happily) surprised!! The service was friendly but the food was outstanding! We started with the Onions Bhaji (very tasty), and then had a mix of mains. My son devoured his chicken tikka masala ("the best he's ever had," in his words), my wife showed great restraint in enjoying her Dhaba Style Chicken Curry (without overdoing it!), and I was blown away by the very first bite of my Chicken Biryani - I knew the rest would exceed our combined expectations!! If you're "hankering" for a marvelous Indian meal (either eating in or taking out), take a drive slightly off the beaten path to Bibi's Tiffin ... you'll be very glad you did! read more

We chatted with our server and discussed food and culture and how we're all connected by food even though it was near closing and I'm sure they had a long business day. Much like the at the familiar American-Chinese restaurant cultural cross pollination has to some degree streamlined and standardized what people expect when they want to get takeout. When people order Chinese most expect Beef and Broccoli, Lo Mein, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Crab Rangoon and General Tso's. Likewise with Indian food people expect Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Chicken Vindaalo, Korma, Aalo Palak, Samosas and Biryani. You'll never hear me complain about getting served any of those dishes they're all fantastic. Like China India is a vast country with over a billion people and thousands of years of history with incredible culinary diversity. Part of what makes BIbi's so special is it in part represents the daunting variety of food on the subcontinent while nailing the entrees everyone thinks of when they think of Indian food. You'll find your comfort food favorites on the menu, but aside from that there's huge variety of unique options not found in a lot of other takeout places. For appetizers there's Golgappa Bombs, thin crispy pastry shells drizzled in Green (coriander) and Tamarind Chutney, sweetened yogurt and filled with chickpeas and potatoes topped with crispy mildly spiced Sev (snack noodles). With main dishes there's Dhaba Style Chicken curry, which because it is cooked a bit faster at roadside stalls or at home each ingredient in the dish (onions, tomatoes, masala) is a little more separate and distinct from each other and not as blended as a typical curry. Also present Rajastani laal maas (anyone who is a fan of Vindaalo will like the combination of spicy, sour and slightly sweet) a bold lamb or chicken entree with mango powder and mustard oil, both of which are present in terms of flavor notes. There are plentiful vegetarian and vegan options on the menu among which include Aalo Poori and Halwa a lighter potato curry including fluffy fried whole wheat bread and sweetened semolina pudding for contrast. Outside of curries there are Roti Wraps, Tandoor Grilled Proteins, samosa chaat, and Bel Puri (puffed wheat crisps) chaat with onions and pomegranates and a whole lot more. They're always adding new things to the menu so return visits are often pleasantly surprising. I normally don't mention ambiance or service since I think reviewers on yelp often rate a restaurant on how ostentatious an establishment looks and how much the waiters and managers grovel at their feet at the expense of talking about the actual food but here I'll make an exception. Bibi's is at once spacious, bright, attractive, welcoming and cozy. The seating comprises of super plush dining chairs with sturdy wooden tables, and there is a selection of Indian Snacks and Dessert across the service counter along with a large shelf of beverages. The staff is super friendly and always ready to answer questions about the food or make a recommendation. This is the best Indian food in the Lehigh Valley hands down, give it a try! read more

Everything we ordered here was really good. The mango lassi was flavored perfectly, thick and creamy. They added a spice that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The paneer was great--sauce was flavored beautifully and you actually got a healthy portion of paneer (unlike Aman's in Easton). The rice and garlic naan were yummy as well. Only problem was that the tandoori chicken was real dry. Staff was fairly attentive. I think the waitress forgot about us for a little while even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. The cook came out to chat with us after our meal which was nice. I'd give them 3.5 stars if yelp allowed half a star. The quality of the food is enough to make us come back, but there are areas that could be improved. read more

Flavor profile on point. Found them by sheer luck. Will definitely order the goat curry and garlic Nan again.

First off, food is very good if you get what you order. I ordered a large meal for our family and picked it up with out problem. When I got home about 20 minutes later, I discovered food missing and incorrect. When I called about the order l was told they tried to contact me but l was driving and couldn't answer the phone. Since it would take another 45 minutes to go and come back, l asked for a refund. I was told they needed someone else to refund it. Agreed and asked for a call when this was corrected. It's now been over 3 weeks and no refund, no phone call, and no apology. Extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service! Very poor decision over about a $30 correction. read more
