Great beer, and great food--what more could you ask for? Aside from wanting to sample local beer, what made us stop by were their food offerings--customizable and relatively healthy bowls with (your choice of) rice or noodles, vegetables, and protein. These were so good that, during our one week in Kalispell, we came back three times. Our last time was, I believe, on a Tuesday, when the place gets very full around dinner-time for trivia (I do have to note, however, that there was cheating going on!). Even though I'm not a beer drinker, I throughly enjoyed my visit to Bias. I had the nitro coffee. It was delicious! The bartender was awesome. He was super helpful, accommodating and had a great personality. It was a quiet afternoon, not many people there. I also ordered a salad from the little pop up Food For The Soul that was HUGE. Sadly, she told me they wouldn't be there permanently. They had lots of tacos and quesadillas, sandwiches and soup. I ordered a mini quesadilla for my stinky baby and he demanded my salad. Stopped in here for a little day drinkin'. Hubby ordered the Kombucha since he was the DD. I tried a taste and it was goooood. I think what I had was the Equinox Blood Orange Gose. The waitress let me try a couple before committing to a whole glass. I really appreciate that, because name's don't always translate correctly in my mouth. I also really like that this place was about more than just BEER! I prefer a cider, which they didn't have, but they did offer a sour which I call a close cousin. Loved this brewery! Great beer, friendly staff. We tried a flight, and enjoyed each of the beers. The brewery has a very comfortable ambiance. Materials for the taproom furniture, the barnwood walls, and the corrugated metal on the front of the bar were reclaimed from the area that is now the brewery. And located on the wall is the signature of the carpenter who built the original building in the 1930s. Very cool. read more

I had called Bias to get the soup of the day, but they did not have soup. I had tried to look at their menu and the site was down. When I called, Gabe answered the phone, he apologized for the site and said he would fix it(he did within 15minutes) and then he went through the entire menu, gave his recommendations and helped me with my order. He helped me build a Bias Bowl. It was PHENOMENAL! Even in a to go container it was beautiful, the flavors were bold and wonderful. Went there for the first time for a mid-day beer and bowl of food with a friend, so there were three of us. The server behind the bar was super friendly: Explained how things worked and what beers were available. The place was empty (at 2:00 on a Thursday afternoon - imagine that.). We ordered our grub and brews and it was brought to us in no time. It was excellent food, and although we were starving, the smaller bowl would have been plenty as we ended up taking three go-boxes home with us. Only one thing went wrong while we were there: I ordered chicken and got beef, but I managed to gobble it down anyway. Definitely worth a repeat visit. read more

This is a hard one...the place is nice inside with great wood decor. The owners have done some great remodeling work and put some effort into this place. The beer is decent...the food..meh. We didn't know this place existed... found a coupon In the local coupon book and gave it a try. Big spacious location with a small kitchen. We ordered a burrito. The kitchen is small and one woman working made for a 40 minute wait for food. It was lunch time so I get it. I wouldn't mind a wait if the food was good but it wasn't...Our burrito was small, lacked flavor, cold and beef instead of chicken. The food was a 1-2 star at best. We tried this place because of a coupon. I wouldn't eat here again and probably wouldn't come back for beer unless someone wanted to meet us there for some reason. I am afraid they will need to make some changes to keep it going. read more

The staff was terrific and very polite. Food came quickly. Then, we weren't very happy. My salad had a lot of old, black spinach on the bottom. I picked it out and only ate the meat on top and the tomatoes. Chicken was blah and tasted like it had been boiled and shredded. No seasoning. It wasn't a very good dinner for me. My husband had a chicken burrito. I tasted it and it needed a lot of seasoning and less rice. He didn't finish it. Before they moved to this new location, the food and seating was very good. Worst Brewery and pub style food in Valley. Less than subpar would be a good description. The chicken and waffle was a frozen chicken patty and pre made waffle. The steak and pork over cooked. Their beer is SO good but their atmosphere is lacking. The blue-hued lighting isn't ideal - I would rather have warmer lighting. But holy crap their beer is soooo good! I would recommend their beer over Kalispell Brewing... For now... I recommend the tea pale ale and ALL the IPAs. read more

I read all the reviews before going to the brewery and was excited to try something new... they reviews were desieving. The atmosphere was amazing... the best part was they have this cute little kids corner with a bunch of toys. The staff was friendly, however we did wait a while to get refills. The beer was pretty good minus my beer was NOT COLD, idk about you but I love cold beer. The food sucked.... I would hands down give it a F rating. I feel like all I ate was processed food... I ordered there nachos and instead of using real cheese they used some nasty processed cheese out of a jar so the quality of food wasn't impressive. My husband ordered tacos and they for got to put beans in his taco plus he left hungry. My mother in law got some random order however they did end up bringing her the right order. Out of the 4 of us they only got 2 orders right. I feel like we wasted $45.00 on food. Plus the staff there didnt seem to care our orders where all messed up or asked us how our experience was there was. They did have a live band there that was really amazing. When I posted my review on Google and Facebook this was there response. I will never be going back nor will my family. Obviously they dont value there customers. Recently visited on our trip through Kalispell. I opted for the Sunday, Funday Tangerine Sour. I would rate it as good, but not excellent. It fell a little flat on tartness, but was enjoyable. The Dude had the Mittelkinder Kolsch and while good, was a little fruity for a Kolsch. The atmosphere is fair. It's downtown and is somewhat generic. They are lacking a good outdoor space. The patio is really small with no atmosphere to speak of. Staff was nice and the place was really clean, which you always like to see in a brewery. Outstanding! I really love this place. We tasted the full selection of beers and they were all very delicious. Bias isn't afraid to take chances, they offer everything from the tried and true Tea Pale Ale to more unique pours like a Coconut Stout. All were really good. They also have done an incredible job with the space, very unique bar, seating and tables, great atmosphere, lots of room for live music without making it too loud to talk.
