I was referred here by my dentist for a root canal. They did some diagnostic tests and sent me home saying I didn't need one. One of the things they did resulted in excruciating pain for a very long weekend. I ended up going back at my dentists advice and getting the root canal. They knew when I called who I was and apparently there was a difference of opinion between the two medical professionals there. I was petrified by my first endodontist visit, but Dr. Bianchi was awesome in alleviating my fears and giving me peace of mind and confidence. I was impressed by three things: Preparation - I have an extremely rare and severe chronic health condition which I noted on the intake form. Prior to meeting with me, Dr. Bianchi had researched my condition enough to discuss it and to understand my concerns. That doesn't happen often. Bedside manner - I confessed I was a coward and an endodontist neophyte. Dr. Bianchi was compassionate, patient, conversational and engaging. The gentle music, the birdfeeders outside and the rest of the staff made me as at ease as I could have been. Knowledge and ability to convey it - Dr. Bianchi clearly knows dentistry and human anatomy inside and out. He was able to fully explain all aspects of my dental health in a clear and concise manner, as well as answer any questions I had. I arrived assuming my best case scenario was a root canal and a crown and my worst case scenario was losing the tooth. Neither ended up being the case and Dr. Bianchi clearly takes a conservative approach when warranted. This was a huge relief and my fears of the consultation were unnecessary. I received a specialist referral at the pandemic start for a failed root canal that needed to be redone. I wanted a different endondonist the second time around and with the pandemic decided to put the procedure off. Recently, a bad fistula developed and despite my reservations as a senior to sit in a dentist chair I called Dr Bianchi's office to schedule an examination. The office manager would not schedule me without a current referral. Google this and a referral is not necessary to see an endondonist. They would not do their own xray and was told one needed to be sent to them by a general dentist. No general dentist I know of uses the 3D scanner that a Board Certified Endondonist would be expected to be using. So why get a typical xray? I was told the doctor needed a new referral regardless. I said I would call my dentist and have a referral sent over. I was then told without a certified new appointment and xrays I would not be seen. There are other endondonists who will see a prospective distressed patient with a root canal history and a referral from December 2019, however, I guess Dr Bianchi is not one of them. read more

A friend reccomended dr.bianchi and i found he was out of my network but decided to go with him as he was vetted by a close friend and it would be worth the extra 5% in cost. I typically don't say, "Wow, I had a great dental appointment". I am not a fan of dentists, and with reason of past experiences. I went to Dr. Bianchi on a referral for a re-treatment of a crown. I was in a lot of pain to the point where I was crying in the dentist chair. I was at the point where the thought of just pulling my tooth was my only option. I called Dr. Bianchi's office and they scheduled me for an apt. the next day. My root canal treatment was a three phase process, treating one canal at a time. Each visit, Dr. Bianchi and his staff took great care and concern in my treatment; they really were authentic in my wellbeing. They explained the processes as they proceeded with the re-treatment. I was able to work the same day, right after each treatment, something I didn't anticipate. It's been a few months of tooth pain, and now the pain is gone, and my tooth is golden. Let me start of with saying the deserve the five stars I am giving! Amazing staff leaded by a amazing dentist! I was greeted with a very nice secretary and given clear instructions on what would happen. I told them I really was nervous to hear the drilling due to me having a root canal. They said no worries we have headphones here and Pandora! They let me chose what station I wanted and were so helpful on making sure I was as comfortable as the situation would let me be! Dr.bianchi was very thorough in making sure I actually needed a root canal and his was very honest. He did a great job as far as could tell and had me in and out of there! I am 71 years old. I have been to many dentist in my life. Dr. Bianchi is one of the very best I needed a root canal on tooth number 5. Problem was...the tooth had calcified...meaning it is near impossible to find the canal. We spent the better part of the afternoon working on this problem...Slowly he explored the tooth until he found the canal. I was in a ton pf pain and needed a Root Canal:( My dentist recommended Paul Bianchi and I am glad she did. They called me twice the next day to try to get me in early because they know how painful it is but I was unable to go until my scheduled appointment. The assistant could tell I was nervous and set my mind at ease right away about how much pain is involved. She let me know that the pain people talk about with Root Canals is leading up to the procedure and that the surgery itself would not be painful at all. Previous to going to Dr. Bianchi I had only had one other root canal. It turned out to be one of the worst experiences of my life! Needless to say I was very hesitant about getting another one.
