    Nepali Lamb Curry Combo
    Dale R.

I'm still eating at Bhojan Ghar on Tuesday nearly every week. Their Nepali Lamb Curry Combo and Veggie Samosa (with red sauce on the side) is still my favorite. I loved the Chicken Jhol Momos. Their Thukpa (shrimp or chicken soup) with Garlic Naan is a complete and satisfying meal (with half for takeout to eat later. My BYOB Chardonnay is the perfect complement. Nicest people working there. Pleasant and comfortable. Already looking forward to next Tuesday. Delicious!

Excellent Nepalese and Indian food. Highly recommend the coconut curry. The vindaloo is also excellent. There's also a potato appetizer that is great.

Stopped in the other day for lunch with the wife. First time eating here and it was good.. wasn't busy and staff was quick with our orders. Food came out quickly and was really good. A bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it. Our dish was enough for the both of us to share. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes

    Chicken Chili Momo

Chicken chili momo was a great lunch, delicious and spicy! Only negative was that it took 30 minutes from when I placed my order to when I received my food, but I'll chalk that up to them preparing everything fresh. Would like to come back and try more from the menu.

    Goat Curry

Went to dinner with my friends here. Quaint little spot. Workers were great but the food came out a little slow! Just means they're making it fresh. The food was great. I ordered the goat curry which was flavorful. The goat was tender but portions were small-moderate. My friends ordered the momos which were good as well! We asked for our dishes 10/10 in spice level but it was more like a 5/10 spice for us lol. We even asked for a side of hot sauce which I poured onto my plate and the worker warned me to only eat a little. It was fine lol

The restaurant was on our bucket list for a while and we finally had a chance to visit. The food was great and interesting. Everything was extremely flavorful. Lots of spice and seasoning. Make sure you try the rose lassi.

We started with the pork momos as an appetizer. They were big and stuffed with a mixture of meat and some vegetables. The wrapper wasn't too thick or thin. I absolutely loved dipping it in the sauce, be careful as it is way spicier than we thought! If you've never had a momo, I would compare it to a dumpling that you may have in other Asian cultures. The pork thukpta soup was delicious. The broth was flavorful and although it looks spicy, it actually wasn't! There was a good amount of meat in it. The noodles are unique, they taste almost like a pasta. Regardless, everything was delicious and I would check it out if you're looking to try a new cuisine!

Once she gave us a table briefly went over the menu and their specialties. Listed as a Himalayan/Nepalese food place, it's more of a food from Bhutan. Their menu was very impressive. A lot of good options and the food wasn't that expensive either. Ordered Gobi 65 and Samosa Chaat for appetizers. Shrimp Fried Rice, Puri Sabji, Chicken Chow Mein and Goat Curry for the main course. Also ordered a few Mango Lassis. Even before we order, she warned us that the food will take some time to arrive since they prepare it fresh. In around 10 mins, the appetizers arrived. We opted for the Medium spice level for all the food. But it wasn't spicy at all. She give us the chili paste and the hot sauces on the side to cover it. In another 5-10 mins all the dishes were at our table. Really loved the appetizers. Flavor was really strong and loved it. Also enjoyed the Goat Curry and the Chow mein. Very flavorful. The Puri Sabji was a surprise - it was totally different from what we expected. Absolutely loved it! We were so happy that we stopped here instead of a pizza or fast food place. A worth remembering experience. The hostess was so nice and friendly. Amazing service! It's small place, but very well maintained. Casual ambiance. Locals should be really lucky to have such a nice place in their neighborhood. 5 stars from me. Highly recommended place!

The Chili Momo was very hot. Regardless of heat level, the food was incredibly good. The flavor was off the charts. The Pork Kaan was so hot, it was giving me runway model lips. But it was still sooooo good. Smoky flavor, crispy/chewy texture, etc. The momo had a decent amount of filling and the dough was very thin. The samosa chaat was probably the lease impressive . . . but it was still good. The food was nicely packaged in metal to-go containers with plastic lids. It was already stacked well in a plastic bag. The price wasn't terrible. I was out of there for under $50 for 4 dishes. I only have one complaint. The guy taking my order tried to talk me out of the spicy and unique dishes. He said I wouldn't like the Kaan because Americans don't like it. When I said I wanted some dishes extra extra spicy, he tried to talk me out of it multiple times. I didn't mind the guidance, but I don't like the assumption that people like me don't like spicy food. And if I confirm I really do want it spicy, please don't keep trying to convince me otherwise. Despite having to argue for spicy food, the food itself was absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. I was offered two small bottles of water to drink while waiting for my food to be cooked. Definitely a two thumbs up experience regarding the food.
