I was flying through SoCal when I began to feel ill. I don't have a PCP in this region, so I went to a local urgent care and then later to a hospital in DTLA; however, the staff were unable to properly diagnose me. Eventually, one of the doctors was able to refer me to Dr. Ganesh, who is an infectious disease specialist. Dr. Ganesh was professional, timely, courteous, calm, and ensured that all of my needs were met during all of my in and out patient visits. Most importantly, he was able to make an accurate diagnosis. It turns out that Dr. Ganesh also practices internal medicine, so I use this clinic for annual exams now as well. The clinic staff are friendly and helpful, and billing even with insurance is a breeze.

Recently, Dr. has changed from a traditional medical doctor into a niche "fade" doctor focusing on…read morethings like aroma/IV therapies, thermal body contouring, social medial influencer type treatments for cash rather than traditional type medical practice that requires billing insurance/medicare. Medicare doesn't reimburse for these fade types of treatments and being a senior with medical needs, I no longer "fit" this new get-rich-quick type schemes that this office seems to be focused on. Front office staff ignored me when I was trying to update Medicare information as you can see, they don't want patients who need traditional types of medical care and/or treatments.

i have been a patient of Dr. Sia for a very long time. i have to agree the wait times to see her…read moreare outrageous! however, i must ask, have you as a patient ever been the cause of others having to wait an outrageous amount of time for your appointment to be over? we, the patients are what causes Dr. to fall behind on her appointments, when im waiting to see her, i think on the patient that needs her a little more than i do right now, because i KNOW as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, a day will come when i am the cause that you had to wait so long. i apologize for those times i was, and those times yet to be realized. Dr Sia, knows me, knows my family members, she even asks specifics about my family members, by name! she listens when i speak, and i have never ever had a problem getting a referral from her. recently i was having an issue skin related, we were perplexed, she actually said, "skin is not my specialty, i dont know how to treat this. i am going to have to refer you to a specialist." that was last thursday, we had a holiday mlk day, the referral got here today! when i need refills on scripts, i call, they refill, i have never had to wait the 3 days the recording says it will be done by, they handle business in a timely manner. i have nothing but good things to say about her, she is easy to talk to, and has a great sense of humor, she remembers what you spoke about 3 months ago (i see her quarterly) and its not like she takes notes on the "not medical" things you may mention, she is genuinely interested in me & my life my whole life and cares enough to know who i am. i imagine she is like this with all of her patients, that dont mind the long wait times, i dont mind them because i know when she enters that exam room she's mine! all mine! i have her full attention, and shes not in a hurry, because i am her only patient at least that is how it feels. dr sia is a wonderful personable doctor good at what she does and i am grateful she became a doctor, she has walked miles with me and my health issues and never disappointed me.

Another update. Finally got in to see her. My sister went with me, the nurse took vitals (oxygen…read morelevel was 89, and nurse asked if I was on oxygen) we sat in the exam room for ever. When she came in she sat down and went straight to computer, I and my sister tried to explain the pain and nausea situation, she said that she had a medicine for migraines that worked great and went and got one, it did NO good. She previously had me on Tylenol with Codeine #4 . She never left her computer, she is the one who took over all my meds and since I hadn't had a seizure since seeing her she wasn't going to put me back on the vimpat. Just Dilantin, gabapentin. Also forget the toprimate. I have a Seizure alert Service Dog, thank goodness. She was there, under the chair. Also told me to drink more water and no soda, she is the one who told me to drink all the sodas I wanted to. Weight was 96lbs. She never touched me.
