This place rules! Perfect atmosphere to bring your friends in to play games (they have a small selection of rando kids games and some trivia). The shakes look bigger in pictures, but there's so much stuff in them that you're likely not gonna need more. Also, they sell booze, and will add booze to your shake. This may be BG's best kept secret. Also it may not be. I've only been there once, so it's hard to say. Just go there. read more

Very cute place. Decor is colorful and vibrant. They even have a picture wall with a hashtag. Excellent places for kid birthday parties or big kids if you're into that kinda thing. 8oz and 12oz are the two sizes. Don't forget to look at their "Shake off the Month" and not just the big menu board on the counter. Service was great and a constant revolving door of customers. BGS will substitute!! I had the Oreo Cookies and Cream and substituted the marshmallow cream for peanut butter. My co-workers told me about this place. I shouldn't have come because it's so much sugar, but sometimes you just gotta splurge. read more

This place is permanently closed! They say they will be at events in the future but their storefront is closed.

This place is so cute inside. The shake was one of the best I've ever had. I'm not a big fan of shakes but I had an off the wall craving for one and this really satisfied. $12 for the Fancy ones and we'll worth it for all the different toppings. This would be an adorable place to take a date or your child for somewhere fun and unique. read more

I met Kari yesterday while setting up for the Ice Cream Social at Duncan Hines Days. She allowed me to sample some of the ice cream she brought and told me about the business. We had family in town and wanted some local places to take them to, so we are our way over there. We all had a great time and enjoyed our ice cream and shakes. I really appreciated there were activities for my toddler on the wall to occupy him. Thanks Kari and team! We look forward to making it back soon! read more

I've been twice first time was great. We had the s'mores shake. It was good but 8oz for $8.50 makes this a novelty ice cream joint. The second time we've been waiting for 45 minutes for the shake. I might fall asleep before we get it. Delicious but it's slow and expensive read more

Wow!! Finally got to see what all the hype was about. It's a little pricey for my tastes, but worth it!! Lots of choices for shakes

I came in last night and waited over 35 minutes for a milkshake. I never got it and ended up getting a refund. The owner called me and asked me to come back today. I went in and ordered two milkshakes she gave me the shakes for free, plus a Giftcard. Most places don't care about their customers, but I can tell this place does. Definitely come by and try it out the owner sincerely cares about her customers and that is hard to find. read more

place was empty when i went with my family. we got a variety of things and it took awhile (seemed like there was only one guy working - taking orders and making them) but everything we got was good and so i didn't mind the wait read more

Best ice cream around! Super friendly staff, with lots of samples to try! Rich, creamy, delicious fun flavors!

We visited BG Shakery about 1 month ago. The variety of items is very good. However, I was disappointed over the quantity and consistency of the ice cream in the small jar. For the price, I would expect a larger quantity. read more

BG Shakery - a cup of ice cream and chocolate - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Bowling Green, Kentucky

Amazing shakes and friendly staff!!! Highly recommend!! Adults can even add a bourbon or rum shot to any shake.

My husband and I came here and was told our wait for milkshakes would be 35-40 mins. We decided we would wait so we placed our order. Right after us the wait was then being told it went down to 25-30 mins. We sat at our table and watched as one milkshake at a time would come out of the kitchen. A huge birthday party came in about 30 mins after we did and they got their milkshakes right away. Needless to say once we reached our hour mark AND people who ordered after us started to get their shakes we asked for a refund. This business model needs some major changes. All I saw were high school aged workers bringing out one shake at a time. Was very unorganized. AND if you are going to allow huge parties to order ahead and affect people who are coming in and placing orders and make their wait time much longer you need to rethink that. Unfortunately I probably won't give them a second chance. read more

Very fun space with plenty of seating! The workers did a great job answering questions and being honest with the sizing / pricing! They also walked through the menu and gave a lot of feedback read more

We looked at the website and it said they closed at 9 tonight. No mention whatsoever of stopping service an hour before close. I walked in with my daughters, who were very excited after looking at the descriptions on the site. We got to the counter at 8:01 and were told that they do not take any orders after 8 when they close at 9. It was not a one-night thing, it is their policy (posted at the counter). BG Shakery? More like BS Shakery! No other business operates like that. If you're going to do that, put it on your website and turn off the "open" sign out front! read more

Very disappointed. Went in excited about this place based off the looks on their social media accounts. I walked in with some friends and right as you step foot inside it's immediately awkward. No music, no workers. There were people scattered all over but it's dead silence across the restaurant. Waited about 5 minutes until a worker came to the counter to take our order. Went and sat down for about 45 minutes until one of my friends shakes came out, but it was not like their social media showed. The cookie dough shake had 0 bits of cookie dough on it, i'm not even exaggerating. The cheesecake shake had a tiny piece of crust, and the lucky charms one has 4 marshmallows on it and wasn't even green. The shakes all came out in 3 minute increments and makes me wonder why they can't have multiple shakes being made at once. Every time a shake was brought we would say thank you to the waitress, but she just kept the stern look on her face and walked away. Awful customer service. Overall, very disappointed, won't be returning. read more
