After calling Cristina to confirm the reservation, I received a text with the same information, and to call if I had any questions. Information is easy to find either through the website or by phone. I booked a two hour excursion on their comfortable pontoon that seats 12, plus Josh, our amiable and entertaining captain. The location was easy to find, parking was plentiful for all of my friends. I loved that you were able to bring pets, and also food and drink (minus red wine- it stains)! Ice was available to purchase, and they were very accommodating if you needed to use the restroom before, during, or after the trip! Check-in and check-out was easy with Charzale's help. It was a fun surprise to be awarded co-captain's hats for mine and my friend's birthdays! We hooked up to the Bluetooth for some music. The tunes were alot louder towards the rear of the boat than at the bow because that's where the speakers were located. So if you wanted to have more conversation, either turn it down or move to the front :) Time flies when you're having fun, and it felt like minutes instead of hours. I would absolutely book this again, perhaps a sunset ride or even a longer trip. I would love to try out the kayaks, paddleboats, and maybe even the jet skis. We've done several electric bike tours in other California cities and were really looking forward to this one. While our tour guide was genuinely very nice, she knew very little about Coronado Island or its points of interest, and the tour itself was not engaging. She openly admitted that this was not a tour she usually led and that she was primarily a surf instructor. I'm sure she would be great in that role, but as a bike tour guide, the experience was very lackluster. The total cost was $512 for 1.5 hours, which was absolutely not worth the price given the lack of information and overall tour quality. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience compared to similar tours we've taken elsewhere.

My instructor was Jeremy and from the start, not only was he able to adapt the lesson to my level but he was also nice and patient and pushed me out of my comfort zone as we got farther into the lesson. For being a newer instructor he impressed me right from the start with his clear instructions and encouragement! All the workers seemed to work together really well/ were organized without ever getting in the way of other surfers or groups. Outdated teaching materials for example: they still use scratchy VHS tapes from the 1980s. The books are old school from the 50s,60s,70s and 80s. They have approx. 20 computers decades old and only one is connected to dial-up internet. So if you want to learn the latest technology this school does not have the resources and materials for you to learn. You will learn more on YOU TUBE. The bottom line is that this school will NOT prepare you on your new job skill. They promise that they will help you on job search but they do not help at all. The owner Linda cares more about making sure her candy,soda and snack machines are filled than taking care of the students educational needs. . She fully practices a NO open door policy.If you qualified for financial aid please do not waste government money on this school. Be AWARE . DO YOUR RESEARCH.You deserve a better education.DO NOT ATTEND comprehensive training systems.
