Just got the best pedicure of my life and god help me I forgot the young lady's name but as she says "the red haired gal" hehehe She took the time to listen to me and shared a little of herself with me and I absolutely loved that. The atmosphere was definitely a spa one and very relaxing, she even gave me a heated neck warmer and a large martini glass of ice water; very bougie. She also did a wonderful job on my feet! If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went in for a much needed spa day and got a sitter for my young daughter so that I could have some time to myself. The massage I got was fine, but not great. I then had a facial and a "head spa" treatment. The facial was fine, not great. The head spa was absolutely HORRIBLE. The woman (I won't name her) put tons of product in my hair and ripped out tons of my hair brushing it. I told her at least 3 times that it hurt and asked if she was ripping out my hair, which she said she wasn't and that she would "go softer". She didn't go softer. She was indeed ripping out my hair. I've attached photos of my hair loss (I have super fine thin hair) from after I took a shower to get the pound of product out of my hair. This doesn't include the clumps that came out on the shower. It is not at all normal loss for me. I contacted the spa and told them about my experience and they said that the girl that did the treatment wasn't trained and did it completely incorrectly. She wasn't even supposed to brush the product through my hair. They did offer me a refund for just that service, which I thought was a bit unfair because it ruined my entire experience. I went home and cried about my hair because I've been working so hard to regrow it after postpartum hair loss. I personally felt like they should've just refunded my entire trip to their spa. They offered me an 80 minute massage for the price of a 50 minute, but there was no way I was gonna go back to the spa after what happened to me. I will absolutely not be going back. This place is nice, the atmosphere is spot on for a spa. Nice comfy waiting rooms and and a hot pad around your neck, come to think about it I wonder whos neck this was around before mine? We had a couples massage, started right on time and ended right on time. Massages were good but not the best I have had, the therapists did what I requested as in pressure, the room and the warm table was good. We also received pedicures, again good but not the best we've had. The soaking tub seemed a little small where the back of my legs were touching the bowl where my toes were a bit smashed in the front. I have always had a positive experience going here. The calm ambiance is so nice and relaxing. I've had pedicures and massages here. The massage rooms are warm temperature wise, The beds are nice and warm upon crawling in. The bedding is soft and clean (which is a huge plus in my eyes) the establishment is clean. I like that they have chairs and hooks in the rooms to set your items on. The waiting room before your massage is nice with a warm rice pack on your shoulders. I like how the therapists also do not expose a lot of your body and keep you covered when not working on areas they are not massaging. The pedicures are done in a beautiful room with basin type foot soaks (they aren't the massage chair type of pedicure) They are gentle. You are given a drink and a treat with your pedicure if you pick a specialty one. I love the little shop you can browse afterwards while sipping your cucumber water. Beware of misleading services. I booked what I thought was an upgraded 80-minute hot stone massage. 5 minutes into the massage I asked the staff member if she could apply more pressure. She said she cannot because she is not a massage therapist--she is just an esthetician. What she was doing was no more than just rubbing oil on my skin--no pressure involved. The idea of sitting through that for 80 minutes was awkward and beyond disappointing, so I asked her to just end the service. She called the manager in and I was told that what I signed up for is not a massage, it's a hot stone "treatment". She said they are well within their rights to use a licensed technician for a "treatment" so long as they do not apply pressure. She also claimed that when people book a "treatment" they always tell them over the phone that they are getting an esthetician and not a massage therapist. This was not the case. If I had known that I wouldn't have wasted my time and would have booked with another business that offers legitimate massages. The manager offered her apologies in the form of an "I'm sorry you feel that way. We can legally do this." So they are offering a non-massage for the price that any other business would charge for a real massage. It may be legal, but it feels like a scam. I had high hopes for this spa as I just moved to the area and online it appears to be a nice place. Don't waste your time with this business. If you are willing to take the risk, ask a lot of questions upfront and don't assume anything. My impression is that they are trying to do as little as they can to make as much money as they can, with no regard to quality of service or return clients. read more

Terrible experience getting the couples massage. The employee was poorly trained and just kept digging in to my bones, I don't think he got any tension loosened in my back and didn't lighten pressure up when I asked and when he did lighten up he went back to "deep tissue" methods after 5 minutes. He barely used any oil/lotion so it felt like he was pulling my stretch marks and skin when he was rubbing my arms and hands. He barely touched my feet even after that was a focus area I mentioned. Very little communication from him and while my husbands masseuse did explain when they were removing pillows or turning over, mine just grabbed the pillows out from underneath my legs. Honestly, did more damage and bruising and wasn't relaxing at all. To top it off we did a romantic retreat package and they didn't do our pedicures even after we asked about the special we got, thinking it was way too expensive for just the massage. We ignored this after already being frustrated and went to go grab dinner to make our late valentine's a bit better. They called us 10 minutes after we left saying we paid for it and it was a mistake and my employee had taken us to the desk instead of the relaxation area...they offered to keep our slots if we wanted to come drive all the way back. 0 stars if I could, would not recommend massages from here. read more

Absolutely never going here again. I'm almost 100% positive that some massage therapists are not licensed. I have a wonderful therapist but thought I would give this place a try since I had a gift certificate. Not sure if the massage therapist was a man or a woman, but very overweight to the point they couldn't get around the table easily, their belly was rubbing my head, and I'm not sure what was on my arm. They were sick, sniffling and coughing and heavily breathing on me. I even heard them take a tissue out and wipe their nose and then go back to massaging me. At this point I should have walked out. I was disgusted. The massage was not good, but then it got worse when they started on my feet mid massage. In all of my experiences, feet have always been last. Nope! All I could think of was their nose dripping snot on me. I walked out feeling worse than I was before since it was so stressful. Then they made me pay for the whole thing and said a manager would reach out to me. NEVER GO HERE! If you do, request a therapist that has a license with YEARS of experience and positive reviews. If it was a cheap massage, I would understand, but it most definitely was not cheap! read more

Had a couples massage with my wife, and it was awesome! As soon as we checked in, heated wraps were placed around our necks, and we were shown to the waiting area, where we could relax on couches while having some pretzels and cucumber water. Just a few minutes later, our massage therapists (Vicki and Tonya) came and introduced themselves to us and showed us to our private massage room. I asked for a deep full body massage...as anything less just puts me to sleep...literally. Tonya was amazing! I walked out of there feeing like a very relaxed Slinky. (Old school toy reference for the older generation). Millennials just read that and said "Huh???" My wife LOVED her massage from Vicki as well, saying it was perfect...and she's very particular about the pressure for her massages. From the moment we walked in clear up until we paid and walked out the door, we were treated like royalty. There was confusion with an appointment made the last time I went and the costumer service was great, since there was confusion on both ends they granted a solution of a b lounge foot soak, and a 25 minute massage on them. Experience: when you walk in they give you a warm pack to put on your shoulders and lead you to the relaxing waiting room which has cucumber water and lemon water, with pretzels as well. I was gifted a 90 minute prenatal massage to this spa. Oh my, what a treat it was. The spa is gorgeous and when you arrive they take you to a calm, dark waiting area and place a warm rice bag on your neck while you wait. I've had massages, but this was my first time having one while pregnant. They had a big inflatable type pillow so that you could lay on your belly without your belly actually having any pressure on it. If your belly is too big or you're not comfortable in that position, they offered to let you stay on your sides. My massage therapist was amazing. She worked out so many painful areas. It was probably the best massage I've ever had in my life. There were times where I was drooling on the pillow because I was so relaxed. I finally did it! Got my first ever professional massage!!!! This spa was everything and then some!!! We, my best friend and I, for the BFF special. From the time we walked in the door we received exceptional service until we left. Even when I couldn't get out of the extra comfortable chairs (due to a recent knee surgery). Most businesses in general have you fill out paperwork in the lobby. Not there. After pulling up our appointments, she got our paperwork together, placed hot neck pads on us and walked us to this calm quiet dim waiting area. The waiting area had cucumber water, pretzels and apples. We received nice hot foot soaks while waiting. I would have been just fine sitting there. LOL Our therapists was great. My friend received a deep tissue massage, I just got a relaxing one. Once the massage was complete we were taken to another calming waiting area before our pedicures. They offered us fresh water and we all got to relax in our own private room. It was the most relaxing experience I've ever had! The staff was friendly, and upon arriving, they immediately gave me a hot wrap for my neck which was so soothing! I will return and have already recommended to all my friends! I have been to this place several times and every time I have gone I have enjoyed my time there . I've gotten a mother daughter massage , a couples massage , a few single massages, and most recently, 2 pedicures. It's quiet and nice but you can still chat with the staff and your friend if you'd like . I think the only minor dislike I had is that the times that I had gotten a massage she started the time the moment I went to the room but I had to get undressed and wait for her to return , making the massage 10 minutes less ? My frustration now is that I was given an electronic gift certificate, and I tucked it away for a time when I could go, without noticing that there is an expiration date. My life has been hectic, but things have finally slowed down, and I thought it would be perfect to schedule a massage, only to find out that the expiration date was 2 months ago. I've been to Beyond Spa many times for the typical massage or facial. This time I went for a brow wax after another place wasn't open when I had made an appointment. The wax was affordable ($10) and they treat you the same way as if you were getting any other service done. You are given the warm neck pack and seated in the area to relax and wait. The wax is done in a facial room with the soothing music playing. Heather did an amazing job, she also does facials, and took her time to make sure my brows looked great. They give you a neck warmer (for an EYEBROW WAX!) and it's such a relaxing experience with running water, soft music, and low lights. 2 of my co-workers told me how amazing this place was so I wanted to try it out. Heather was my masseuse. I came in on Friday the 26th at 1700. I ordered the "Mother 2 be Retreat" which is a 50 Minute Mother 2 Be Massage, Achy Ankles & Feet Relief, and Belly's Gone Beyond (50 Minute Mother 2 Be Massage, Achy Ankles & Feet Relief, Belly's Gone Beyond. (Allow 2 hrs / $130) In lieu of the 50 minute Mother 2 Be Massage, I opted for the 80 minute massage (that is 30 min extra added to the package) which instead of paying 130, I paid 151 for plus 10 tip which equal to the total being around 161. She started my massage at 1710 and she was done around 1900. I called the office when I got home to inquire about my additional 30 min because I thought Heather might have thought I ordered the 50 min plus the fixes as outlined in the package. They put me on hold and came back to tell me that my massage was a 2 hr massage because of the added fixes and because Heather was working alone and didn't take any breaks. So they robbed me of 30 min. To start with, it wasn't that great of a massage. The whole time I was extremely uncomfortable while laying on the table. I was twisting and turning which should I've been a hint to Heather that I wasn't comfortable. I was readjusting myself and she didn't even ask to help out. I left the salon feeling dissatisfied and feeling ripped off of my hard earn money. That same exact night, my back and my shoulders were hurting and my partner had to give me another massage. I had high expectations for this place based on the reviews and friend's recommendations but I was pretty disappointed with the service. Save your money or go somewhere else. I went in for my birthday and kristy did my nails pedicure, when she found out I was celebrating my birthday she brought me a cupcake with a candle in it. So cute! She has outstanding customer service and is so sweet. My only issue with the $25 pedi is that i think beyond spa should have the technicians have a longer drying time for the polish. This was my first experience at a spa and I found it so so. The massage was ok, but I was disappointed in the mani pedi. The mani pedi room was dark, so I don't know how she was able to see to paint my nails. The polish only lasted a few days. I didn't feel the pedi was worth the money. She was very nice, but talked the whole time. I thought a spa was to relax and unwind. Like I said this was my first time, so maybe that's how they all are. Took my husband for a couples massage for his birthday. I had booked an upgraded 90 minute massage with a foot soak. We got a 45 minute massage with no foot soak. My massage therapist was breathing very heavily in my face the entire massage which was very uncomfortable. My husbands refused to massage below his hips at all. No legs or feet. However, I would be back a lot more if they had cozy robes to change into and a locker room to change/shower. Being a loyal customer for years, I am very disappointed with my most recent visit to Beyond Spa. I ordered an 80-minute massage to relax, unwind, and de-stress. The woman who massaged me kept initiating conversations about my life. She mentioned how "messed up" my back muscles were and then carried the conversation on until I got frustrated and stopped talking. After 20 minutes, I wanted the massage to be over. Instead of a relaxing environment, I became stressed and wanted her to stop touching me. She pumped excessive oil all over my body. By the time the massage was over, I had to use the white sheet to wipe off the excess oil because I felt like a slug. I am very upset because I spent $95 ($80 + tip) on a massage that ended up being a complete waste of time and money. I won't be visiting Beyond Spa again. read more
