Someone cheated in this store, taking all the Pokémon packs that had good cards and selling only…read morethe ones with garbage cards for $5.50 each. We bought 5 packs of Pokémon Astral Radiance in late May 2022. There were zero good cards. With a 50% hit rate, going 0 for 5 is exceedingly rare. Ok fine. We got unlucky. But then we have a friend who bought 7 packs and nothing. And another friend who bought 10 packs (5 packs twice). Nothing nothing nothing. Now that is mathematically impossible. We go online and see that if you have a gram scale, you can weigh each Pokémon pack. The packs with good cards are 22.5-22.8 grams. The ones without are 22.1-22.4 grams. Impossible to tell the difference without a gram scale. I went to the store and explained. The owner, a 60-something Korean man - just says "no no. No no". I explain again and he says "sometimes Pokémon cards are fake". I asked if he was selling fake cards? "No no. No no". I know I am not the only one to complain about this. I gave the owner a chance to respond before posting this bad review. He denied everything and was dismissive. Check my prior reviews. I have never given such a bad review to anyone. Never. I will not be patronizing this store for anything anymore.

The staff was super helpful in figuring out matching mat colors and complementary frame designs. They really made my entire experience run smoothly. And when I picked up my frames, one of my frames ended up having a mat that was cut incorrectly, but they simply took it back and got it fixed relatively quickly without extra cost. Of course, custom framing is going to be more expensive than getting a generic frame and trying to do it yourself, but I am honestly so pleased with the results, I think it was completely worth it. I have come to Scrubs Nyack already twice in the last two weeks for good reason. The service here…read morehas been great and the prices are competitive. The first day that I came to this store I was a bit overwhelmed with the variety of selections. One of the employees must have noticed and offered to help me. I let her know that I wanted scrubs that were affordable. Without hesitation, she brought me over to the "Grey's Anatomy" section and there was a sale going on. I was able to pick out 5 scrub tops and bottoms and tried them out in the dressing room. The helpfulness of the employee made the scrub purchasing process easy for me. I like when I am able to walk into a store and get what I need with ease. The level of service is what drew me to come back for additional pairs of scrubs. If I need more scrubs in the future, I will definitely be back to Scrubs Nyack.
