I came across this store in my search for a local shop to get some custom framing done for prints I had purchased. The staff was super helpful in figuring out matching mat colors and complementary frame designs. They really made my entire experience run smoothly. And when I picked up my frames, one of my frames ended up having a mat that was cut incorrectly, but they simply took it back and got it fixed relatively quickly without extra cost. Of course, custom framing is going to be more expensive than getting a generic frame and trying to do it yourself, but I am honestly so pleased with the results, I think it was completely worth it. Having used this company before with success I returned to have something special framed. When I got home I realized that the piece I brought, an ad from a newspaper was not centered. They said, "its just an ad and not a piece of art" when the ad contained a photo of me! Shouldn't they be the professionals to advise that it would not be centered??? -- since that is what they do???!!! I didn't realize that the left margin was somewhat wider than the right. I could have cut 1/4 inch off one side myself and then it would have been centered. The ad contained a 'header' that looks really....off. I don't know that it will ever make it on to the wall....perhaps in a closet or a drawer! Disappointing. Humph! read more

Terry and Theresa are friendly and accommodating. They have a lot of experience as demonstrated by their suggestions for selecting the best frame and mat colors to enhance the item to be framed. By swapping out the different mat colors and frame options, it is actually an enjoyable experience because it becomes clear which combination of mat and frame is best along with how wide the mat and frame should be.
