We…read morehad made this appointment for a comprehensive review of a knee injury that happened about 6 weeks prior in a skiing incident and had gotten about 85% better but still wasn't feeling fully healed. We had an appointment for Monday at 11:00 AM and arrived at 10:50 AM to fill out any paperwork or insurance information. The concierge was busy, but friendly and polite. We had our paperwork and insurance all submitted and squared away by 11:05 AM. We then proceeded to wait in the waiting room until 11:45 AM which was frustrating, as we had an appointment that we made well in advance. We were then taken back to a patient room at 11:45 AM where an assistant spent about 3 minutes asking us the exact same questions that were asked on the paperwork we already filled out. I understand that may be part of the process, but definitely frustrating as we were now way past our scheduled appointment time and making an illusion of progress with the staff. The doctor came in at about 12:15. He was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Overall, the doctor was excellent, which was what we came for. However, arriving early for your appointment and then being seen over an hour later was really frustrating.

I saw a podiatrist in Kansas who only made insoles and was attempting to talk me have surgery on my ample bunions. My problem was a lot worse. Dr. August took one look and had xrays done of my right ankle. He was more concerned and had me get an MRI. My ligaments and tendons needed repair. I could have lost my mobility if it had not been for Dr. August. I had my surgery August 30, 2020. I am now a lot more mobile and happy to walk at all. I still have the bunion problems, but I will wait a while to address them. Dr. AUGUST IS A LFESAVER.

After exhausting all routine care options, he opted to try a new higher grade graft. After three grafts, the wound has now healed. Dr Lazerson has provided good care and and has explained all the procedures and options as he went along. There was a possibility of failure as a previous graft from 2020 did not work out. We discussed all treatment options and why there was a previous failure. He assured me that the situation looked good for the current treatment and he was correct. I am very happy with this success.

I reminded her that I had waited at least 2 weeks for this appt and periodically checked for cancellations. My left heel is killing me, making it hard to walk. She refused to let me see Dr Beverly, even though there was NOBODY in the waiting room. Since they would not see me, and didn't care how much pain I was in, I left and WILL NEVER go there or any of their other locations again. If this same situation had happened with Dr Fleeter, he would have had me sit in the patient recliner, filling out the paperwork while he checked my feet. Big difference in attitude! They need to learn compassion and a little empathy!!

Well, I was in the hospital getting an IV drip for my legs. I met Dr. Calise. he said I can fix it. So we did surgery on my legs and now they are healing. It has only been three years with Dr.Calise, and they are almost healed, in the surgery he did skin graft. Also medication and pain meds. He is one of the finest surgeons I know. I have been seeing him weekly, he is also a good podiatrist. he cuts my nails toenails, and we joke a little bit. Like I say he is a darn good doctor , And a good podiatrist. The nurses are very professional the girls at the front desk are great, and understanding. The doctors office is one of the finest offices in Tampa that I know of.
