I was on a mission to find a therapist in my network that fit my schedule and had virtual calls as an option. After many phone calls, this place seemed to have what I was looking for. First red flag and what should have been my signal to hang up: when I gave all my info over the phone, the receptionist straight said "oh that's a weird street name, why would anyone call a street that?" Then continued for another minute how ridiculous my street name was. Uh ok? How professional of her (insert sarcasm here). The day of my first appointment I had to arrive 15 mins early to fill out paperwork. I get to the office and there are two other people waiting at the window because the receptionist isn't there. Two more people show up after me and now we are all just waiting for someone at the window. So now there are 5 of us just waiting there for over 20 minutes. The lady finally comes back to the desk and starts to help us. By the time it's my turn, she then informs me that the therapist I was scheduled with does not deal with the issues I wanted to discuss. And that the other receptionist who originally scheduled me was new and didn't know what she was doing. I was so turned off by this whole experience that I just said to completely cancel everything and I did not want to see anyone else. The take away from this whole thing, if you really care about your mental health, stay away from this place. They clearly do not care about your well being and are perfectly fine with wasting your time.
