Bev Mo has great sales and a wide selection in beers. Therefore it is definitely my store to pick up my brews after a long day of work or take to any special occasion. But this Bev Mo store is one of the smallest stores I have shopped at. It is hard to imagine any store smaller than any San Francisco locations. You will definitely be surprise. Smaller store also means smaller selection. But this store carries many updated and seasonal brews, wines and spirits. As a beer-snob, the refrigerators for brews are also limited with eight doors with mainly sale and seasonal and crafted beers. The store also carries brews that are room-temperature. You can also call ahead and place your beverage(s) and have them chilled and pick them up in a few hours. I was here to pick up two 12-packs of Sierra Nevada's Celebration Christmas Ale, which is on sale for $15.99 a dozen. That is one of the seasonal, newest and popular brews that are chilled. I am fortunate on that. Surprisingly the staffs are nicer and have a bit of knowledge on beers too. That makes up for the flaws I just aforementioned. read more

Very clean with a simple lay out, but sometimes difficult to pin point what you need if you're looking for specific stuff with the overflowing aisles. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help when you need it. Always there to joke with you about your day or how your night is going to go! I also appreciate their many beer varieties which my friends and I are trying to work through -- getting a new one every few weeks or so! read more

Wow BevMo always has the beverage we are looking for! Yes we do shop here once in a while for a nice drink mixer or ginger beer or something like that. It is a fun place to browse around. The service is great. The people always are quick to point out where to go to find what you are looking for. The selection is strong so if we need something this is the place to go to make sure we find the right liquor. Yes they do have the Green Chartreuse which is the one that my wife really likes and never seems to be able to find easily. Bevmo is fairly convenient and close to home which is great and the prices are fine. I am sure we will be back when we need to make a new Cocktail. read more

I am a first time shopper at BevMo. I decided to go to the store and pick up some items. I was completely unaware of their buy online, pick up in store policy. I was greeted at the front by a friendly associate who did not turn me away but offered to walk me through the store and grab the items I was there for. I had a couple questions about red wine and they answered them with no problem. The associates there were so helpful that I ended up buying more than I intended!!! Being in the midst of a pandemic and having to work on the frontline helping customers, the associates were absolutely amazing, incredibly friendly and helpful and such a great experience. read more

Best customer service experience! I had just purchased a bottle of Vodka and accidentally dropped it on my way to the car. Before I could even say anything, a staff member was already on his way to help clean up the mess I'd made.. not only that but they ended up giving me a brand new bottle! I wish I would've gotten the names of the 2 gentlemen that assisted me- nonetheless, awesome customer service! read more

I was so happy to hear that San Leandro was FINALLY getting a Bev Mo of it's own....not that I have a problem or anything! Yes, it's smaller then the Pleasanton/Dublin store but I think it has a great selection. I've tried Russian beer because it was on Sale here, and even at $2.99/ea regular price it's not bad, and found the best gift for a groom-to-be; The Knot is the perfect mix between amazing quality and on the money wedding puns! I even bought some great wines during the 5 cent sale..only spent $26 and walked out with 4 bottles :) I was a happy camper. The staff are very helpful and nice. I'll be sure to stop by for reliable stock and service for my next holiday party or if I'm in the mood to try a new beer. read more

Welcome to San Leandro! Nice convenient location near Bayfair Mall. Grand Opening event went smoothly. Service was terrific considering the number of folks that showed up at 9 a.m. with the incentive of a bag filled with BevMo goodies. I can never resist a trip to BevMo when the 5 cent sale is on. This new location is closest to home so I will be a regular! read more

All I can say is that SL has a BevMo. We don't have much so this addition gives us a reason to celebrate! haha. Compared to other Bevmo locations it is on a smaller scale (we will take anything we can get). It will have what you need but maybe not be a wide variety compared to other locations, so don't be picky. It was fully stocked and the staff was friendly during my visit during the opening weekend. Parking could be difficult depending on what time and what day it is since it is located in a small shopping center. Nice to have a local store so no more trekking out to Dublin and Fremont. Don't touch my Tito's vodka! ;) read more

Every time I visit this location, AJ always has a positive and welcoming vibe! Overall good shopping experience:)

Every time I come in here the manager is super rude! No type of customer service whatsoever. Gets mad almost because I utilize the price match system they have and guarantee, if they're policy is to price match why get an attitude about it when it's asked for? Not sure but I feel super uncomfortable when I come in Here which sucks because I live so close and love to drink lol they need to cheer up and treat people more with a little more respect and put a damn smile on read more

Went in the other day looking for a tequila and luckily the nice lady named Claudia was there to help me! She was kind and super helpful with a great attitude! I told her what I liked and didn't like and she helped me pick out a tequila. She recommended me the Herradura resposado and I ended up really enjoying it. Shout out to Claudia, thanks! read more

This is the first BevMo I have visited where I can say the entire staff is friendly and helpful. I visited this location about 5 times now and every time i walk in I am greeted immediately. This store also takes sanitation very seriously, there always someone in front of the establishment wiping down the carts. When you're ready to check out you'll notice a faint bleach smell, that means they are wiping down the registers as well. read more

Excellent customer service. Kevin was very knowledgeable of the product and made good recommendations.

I needed to purchase a bottle for my brother's birthday!! I couldn't decide with the plethora of options. Chris was so helpful and had great product knowledge and helped me find the perfect drink for my brother's birthday!! Thank you!! read more

Yesterday I had to make quick stop in and a return. Due to the pandemic I didn't think it would be accepted. But it was my transaction took less than 7 minutes. Both Fred and the manager were great, fast, polite and efficient! I have always loved Bevmo's customer service, I've never ever had an issue but it now when people seem to be extra sensitive Bevmo is extra nice! Helpful always but it just seems to be something better in the air there! They were already a 5 now they are a 10! Thanks so much. read more

Stopped by Sunday to purchase a few bottles of wine, for a relative's B-Day celebration. The deals were so great. that I left with six bottles of merlot. The cashier Ajay, was very pleasant & professional. he made my buying experience quite enjoyable. Also, he thanked me for choosing BevMo! I often drive out of my way to shop at this location, because the store is always well orgainized, and the staff & parking make for easy shopping. Thank's so much, Nate! read more

Honestly, not too impressed with this BevMo. Maybe it's because the location is smaller than its Jack London and Pleasanton counterparts, but the selection really isn't very extensive in terms of wines or beer. There are only two shelves of porters/stouts here! ONLY TWO. That makes this beer-drinkin' Yelper sad. Also, the pricing on the same beer differs if you buy it at room temperature off the shelf or out of their cooler -- it's more expensive if you want to get the same beer already chilled! On the plus side, at least now there's a BevMo down the street! But I'd almost rather drive a little further down to Plaza Bottle for a slightly better selection (though the prices are usually a teeny bit higher). read more

The inventory here can be kinda sparse compared to other locations, but the items they do have in stock are always organized and displayed in a manner that makes it easy for customers to find exactly what they need. This location has a very comfortable atmosphere, some other locations rely on wide showroom floors and bright beaming shop lights to focus on a featured item, but here they allow the natural colors and bottle designs of the spirits to appeal to your senses while shopping. I like coming here for my beer/liquor needs because the prices are fair and the employees usually know how to answer my questions or solve my issues. read more

Good service and clean. Smaller than most Bevmo's I've been to. It does the job though. [Full disclosure: I have not received any compensation for writing this review. I was making a dessert that had Limoncello as ingredient. Could have made my own. But BevMo had 4 to chose from. Price was not bad. Dessert came out great. read more

My roommate and I are frequent patrons of BevMos throughout the Bay, and this was by far our best experience yet. AJ was so amazingly kind, helpful, and friendly. After guiding us expertly around the store, giving amazing suggestions, and being our absolute best friend for 10 minutes, he was so graciously patient as we struggled to locate our club card and membership information so we could receive $200 in savings! Certain wines are buy one, get one for 5 cents!!!!!!!! On top of that you receive 10% off of a case of wine or more, he even topped us off with an additional $10 off coupon. So we paid for less than 6 bottles of wine but walked away with a full case, WHAT A STEAL! We might be driving to San Leandro for all our BevMo trips from now on. Thanks AJ! read more

This is my go to spot for buying alcohol due to the amazing customer support provided by one of the workers, Claudia. She always ensures I am satisfied with whatever I buy and gives amazing recommendations! read more

Customer service is wonderful. Love how you can push the little red button in all the aisles and staff comes right over and assists. Great even when extremely busy. read more

I will NEVER!!!!! Shop here or at any of their other stores EVER again! The manager Eric made the biggest scene and humiliated me because of his bad judgment and racial profile of me. I was highly offended and appalled at him calling the cops on me without my knowledge and accusing me of credit card fraud because he thought my card was fake and because my address was different from the address on my bevmo account that I have had for 9 years!!! He said he felt embarrassed but his feelings had nothing on how he made me look or feel. I didn't want to go through with my purchase but I felt like I had to prove a point!!! All young African Americans aren't thieves, broke nor go around pulling off credit card scams!!! I went to purchase a gift for my other half and was held up for 45 min because of bad judgment and ignorance. He made a complete ass of himself. I've never experienced such a thing in my entire 30 years. I'm disgusted all the way around!!! I wish I didn't have to give Bevmo of San Leandro 1 star because they deserve zilch!!! Thanks for the horrible, humiliating & TERRIBLE experience Bevmo/Eric the store manager! read more

The people here are really friendly and helpful. They're surprisingly knowledgeable about any question I have from ports to beers to bourbons. It's small but I always find what I need, and then some, and never go wanting for variety. They let me bring my small dog in too to shop which I appreciate. read more

I'm a Shipt delivery driver and I pick up orders from the San Leandro BevMo almost everyday. Every time I'm there the order is always ready to go, the people are nice, and the store manager (I believe his name is Chris) is always helpful. Thank you to everyone at this BevMo location for making me feel welcomed and making my job easier. read more

I love going to Bevmo! The one in Jack London Square is my favorite, however going to this one off of Hesperian Blvd. has been my worst experience yet. However at this particular Bevmo I have to say I have never been treated with such disrespect. The customer service was awful. The workers were rude when I asked them questions about certain alcoholic beverages. I had a sales rep help me and she was so rude. She didn't have a name tag on but she was very tall and blonde, she was making racist remarks. I will never go back there again. :( read more

manager on duty very rude to customers, no way bevmo have this rude creature as a manager, sad we live two faces. I bet all smiles when corporate enter your store huh buddy! well the manager did call and apologize, for his rudeness. read more

Love this place! Sure, it's smaller than most BevMo locations but what they have is the best of the best. Place is always clean, even the men's bathroom... Which is well appreciated. Staff is friendly, helpful and remember frequent customers. Even the fellow patrons are friendly; have been turned on to some new, amazing beers chatting with other customers agonising over which new beer to buy. You leave this place and your faith is restored (temporarily) in humanity. The parking lot kinda sucks, but I'm not docking points for that, it's not their fault. Try the Organic Chocolate beer in the refrigerated case... You'll thank me. It's friggin' amazing!! read more

Apparently this employee with the customer service problem has decided to retaliate and harass me in regards to the review I wrote of my experience in the store. Bevmos recruiting process must not be very rigorous to have employed a human of this character. Be careful of this store, you will be treated with loads of attitude and if you decide to yelp it, youll be harassed. read more

I should call this review nirian the cashier, every time i go into this place, this guy greets & smiles only at selected customers, he also ask selected customers would they like a bag while checking them out, when approaching nirian the cashier to ring me up he seems depressed & is always dead silent as if his throat were missing when I or selected others approach his line(occasion #2) i swiped my card (nothing happened) & we had a stare down until i asked nirian the cashier " did my apple pay go through " & he replied "no" after the second attempt my payment went through (of course) nirian the cashier looks at me & i look at him in another stare down, i ask "can i have a bag?" nirian the cashier bags my beverages without handing me my bag, i then slightly reached over the bagging table to grab my bags & silently walked away, this is not the first time I've witnessed this guy acting strangely towards certain customers, but this time this was enough for me to take this to yelp (the public) since he can publicly display his actions... read more

I am so damn happy The Dro got a BevMo. The selection is great, great location, well lajid out, friendly staff. I went there today bought a pack of Ginger Beer and two Limes. The cashier carded me for the Ginger Beer and didn't even know they sold Limes. I'm really not complaining, its the most hilarious thing that happened all day. read more

Great selection of wines. I just wish you guys were open later. Why close so early?!

I love BevMo's 5 cent wine sales!!! This is my go-to place for wine, and it has been for years. Going without the sale, you're getting overcharged; but with it, you're def getting a deal. They have a fantastic assortment of wines from all over the world, and if you can't find what you're looking for, they can check another location. read more

Service is super friendly here. Went looking for the Game of Thrones beer but they don't carry it, which was sad, but we picked up a bottle of Hennesy Priv for my friend's birthday. great location, with plenty of variety. Plenty of parking and friendly service. With the "shelter in place" order I thought it would be a good idea to utilize the pick up option from the Bevmo app. I placed my order online and selected a pick up time of 6:00-6:45pm at the nearest location (San Leandro, CA). I arrived to the store at 7:00pm and the young lady at the door said that they were running behind and closed the door on me. I waited another 5 minutes in front of the store waiting for her to come back and when she finally did, she said in a rude tone that I had to wait because I didn't get a second email. I asked if she could give me an estimate and she said no!!! I asked for the Manager and a young man wearing no gloves or mask came to the door (didn't give me his name or title) and asked for last name but never returned. After waiting an additional 10 minutes I asked for the Manager a second time and another guy (Ken B.) came to the door and said that he was the "spirit manager" and that there was nothing he could do... they were barely working on orders with a 4:00 pm pick up time (it was now 7:30pm). The staff at the San Leandro BevMo are very unprofessional and clearly have no desire to help customers! What's the point selecting a pick up time if you're going to get turned away? I left after 45 minutes of waiting and I still haven't received a second email. read more
