Been coming here over 5 years, the 5 cent sale is great now and then. Just stopped by with a buddy tonight and we were helped greatly by the staff with our beer section. Went to Bevmo for the first time today. First off thank you to Customer Service being super cool nice & helpful. I needed help picking out Cocunt Flavored drinks & they immediately gave me a bunch of choices. TheI error VARIETY IS HUGE. Also is cheaper then 90% of liquer stores. But they still can't compete with Cosco & Pack N Save the still a wee bit cheaper. The store is supriseny neat & organized with their shear amount of Variety. Now BevMo has moved closer to our house. Although, this location is a bit smaller than the Colma location it does offer a good selection of spirits, wine, beers, soda and snack foods (deli meats, cheeses, chips, salsa and dips). I know what made the difference for this location was the great service we received from Craig. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Too bad he only works part time. BevMo has always had an eclectic selection, and the 5 cent sale is great, but the sales staff is nice yet rather lacking in terms of wine knowledge. This particular BevMo is better than most, but the lack of the stars is because of the pathetic 12-bottle shipper that BevMo has the temerity to charge 15 bucks for: instead of the usual styrofoam, they use corrugated cardboard at the top and bottom, with flimsy cardboard in between. 5 bucks worth, tops! Go to the Wine Club or K & L for better wine and better everything! read more

I've never written a bad review on yelp, even though I've had bad experiences. This store has the WORST customer service.. Not from one, but from every single employee. I just spent $400 there with basically zero help from staff. It's like they all hate their jobs and take it out on customers by not smiling, being obviously annoyed at answering a question, insisting at standing and pointing to general areas instead of walking 2 feet to show us an item, and being outright RUDE. Even at the register, the man was literally throwing the alcohol bottles into boxes. I will never patronize this BevMo again. read more

Same as all the other reviews. Good service and staff... They have almost everything you can ask for your home stash or home bar. Once in a while they'll be out of stock of what you're looking for but you can always find a legitimate substitute. Also, I ordered online from here.. Their same day delivery is a life saver. 1 star for the service. While the cashier was very friendly as she always is, the rest of the staff was terrible. They just walk around the store talking amongst themselves even after I asked the cashier if I could get help getting some tequila out of the area that requires a store key. Great store. It has almost all a person could want. I go here for the bulk items and and parties. But I still choose local stores for service, custom orders, and special treatment. A chain like this should be a hit with 90% of the world and is for me. They need to train and equip staff or at least one manager on site at all times for harder or more accurate information. This BevMo location is clean and has friendly staff, but it's small and lacks some of the selection of the larger stores. That's not to say this store doesn't have a good selection, but it's missing some of the stranger and, in my opinion, more interesting stuff, especially in the beer and wine aisles. On its own merit, this store is perfectly acceptable as a liquor and beer store with a good selection, but compared to the BevMo locations in Santa Clara and Mountain View, it doesn't really have much going for it. read more

Great selection of alcoholic drinks and accessories. The stock and register employees are nice for it being July 4th and having to work. My main complaint was with the guy at the tasting section. I was looking at a bucket of lemons and one of them was extremely moldy, green and white that it was touching the other lemons. I asked if he worked here he said yes and I showed him the lemon, he responded "oh, it's just that one", I pretty much left it on the shelf and he didn't bother to address or investigate it. The bucket is still there as I was walking around the store. He had no worries, he went back to talking to the 2 people, looked like friends, he wasn't performing a tasting or anything. Super nice staff. I was on a budget for this golf thing I was doing and needed some small bottles of alcohol. They were min. of $3.99 each or so. Considering I was doing eight gift baskets, and already filled them with all kinds of goodies, $4+ for one little bottle of alcohol for each one really was over the top for me. Luckily a very nice bevmo lady showed me the bin of $1 bottles - they were Stoli flavored vodka which was just fine with me :) I did buy one Hendricks for $6.99 for one fella as he was the number one guy for this event. Pretty small bevmo compare to the one in colma but they still have everything including the imperial beer from Costa Rica

Here's the really cool thing about them; they have agreat return policy. I returned some products there today with no hassed and no questions asked.
