Good selection of liquor, not as good selection of wine... beer is somewhere in-between. This is the "Wal-Mart" of booze and the majority of their products reflect this. HOWEVER the staff can special order items for you - which is very useful! I still buy liquor from K&L in the San Francisco Bay area and bring it down to my home in the desert to fill in the gaps. read more

The selection is good and the store is clean. I was thoroughly disappointed with the condescending attitude of the manager Joe. He rang me up and was very rude. I bought wine and a pony keg, he rudely corrected me and said their is no such thing, it's a 5 gallon keg of beer. He said as long as you bring back the keg and pump we won't have any problems. There was no need to say that. You took a $90 deposit, I will be sure to bring the keg and pump back. I have been here before and was never treated this way. So... I've visited Bevmo several times over the past years... Tightest parking lot in world when busy... but my recent experiences (2) weeks ago have no doubt inspired me to give a review... Basically Adult Beverage Play house... "always drive responsible" no joke!! But not a wine conisquer but looks like they could/should fill YOUR needs.. My experience was looking for a Particular Bourbon and ipa... with the assistance of one the associates, we determined that they did not carry... ok fine.. Continued my shopping for a Blonde ipa... To my amazement.. The other clerk looked up where the Bourbon was sold and directed to a competitor.... Thats customer service... Dam!! Continued my shopping .. went home amazed.. been back several times... Actually felt like appreciated... Txs. BevMo... Oh yeah That Desired... Bourbon showed up on Father's Day!!!! And p.s. Best bet in the area, because this area really stinks when it comes to liquor store selections, but really poor as far as BevMo locations go in terms of selection (nothing like the BevMo in Arizona that are twice the size). This store appears to be doing everything in its power to drive me away. First the music is loud and raucous. Not what I want to hear shopping for wine. The aisles are so jammed with boxes and displays I can't even get a cart down them. Certainly, two parties can't pass each other in the aisles. Finally, some time ago the store was changed from an alphabetical arrangement by winery to a random arrangement. How do I find anything? This store is very convenient to me, but I will go to Total Wine in Palm Desert, even though it's an extra forty minutes round trip. read more

On 3 separate occasions my telephone # is not recognized as a "member". Each time I modify my account online and enter my number. So today I go in to buy one bottle and my number is not recognized. Without the member price its $15 more. The staff is very nice but requires me to sign up again I decline and head to Costco. There I buy my one item for eight dollars less then Bevmo's cheaper price and there you have it. read more

Placed an order for German beer and within 3 days the manager Liz called me and told me she got it for me. This is what I call 5 star Customer service. She is the kind of person all stores should have as employees. It really made me feel like there are people who still care about their customers. I love bevmo. They usually have pretty good prices on pretty good beer, wine and alcohol. I would give this place 5 stars but its on the smaller end compared to other bevmos I've been to. I think this really limits the variety of the stuff they sell. A few years ago I remember going to bevmo (in general, not just this one) and they sold more stuff that you couldn't get at your average supermarket than the stuff you could. Now I fear that isn't true. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you find stuff, even if they don't have it. read more

What can you say about BevMo except lots of choices! I'm a big beer guy but I can see there's a defiant lean towards wine drinkers. Boo on BevMo for being biased! The only thing that makes them a 4 out of 5 is they don't carry enough beer choices and I'm taking especially about Rainer; just plain old Rainer, not the specialty stuff. Maybe more beer more bros, I'd buy more rum and cigs if their choices there were better too, but they do carry Sailor Jerry's Rum, cheap and good. Thanks BevMo. read more

Tried to order on line to pick up at this store. All the inventory was low. The Bev Mo website is awful, not at all user friendly. Took me forever to finally cull together a 4 case order of wine and red wine. Really painful. I tried calling the store to help pull an order together, but alas no help there. I was hoping to place the order and send a friend to pick up so I could keep moving on the party I was setting up. In the end Ralphs or Costco would have been cheaper and taken the same amount of my time, but I could have purchased better wine for what I paid at Bev Mo. No savings at Bev Mo. Will not be shopping ANY Bev Mo's in future for wine or beer. A big maybe for liquor purchases. read more

Terrible customer service! When you call the store, you are on hold for a very long time before they get anyone to answer your questions. When you order anything there is no follow up phone call that it is in. The cashers know nothing and have to try and find someone who does. That person is usually in the back of the store. read more

BevMo has a wide variety of beer and wines. They have other alcohol too - I don't know anything about the other stuff though. I love the 5 cent sale that they have. It's fun to try new things at a good price. Did you ever think of BevMo for greeting cards? They have the best cards EVER! read more

Stopped by Coachella weekend to get some goodies. Out of all weekends you would think they would be better staffed but alas there were only 2 people working there. Other than that, very clean, very well stocked. Little bit on the pricier side though as there is a Costco right across in the same plaza. read more

ONLY USE CASH! In town visiting and only time I used my card was at Bev Mo, later in the evening I get a call from my bank (Chase) telling me that there had been an attempted purchase of close to $500 at Walmart down the road within the hour of the employee getting off work. Thankfully the bank declined the purchase and I was notified immediately. The following day I approached the manager and explained the situation (with the suspected employee looking on, rather guilty) and was unpleasantly surprised at the dismissive attitude. Needless to say a police investigation and cooperate will be notified. Can't wait to get a hold of the surveillance video. Will update review upon companys actions. read more

Great selection of beer but very poor customer service. I went today and he didn't sell me beer because my brother went with me and he is under age. There is a sign that says that he is allowed to go in with anyone who is 21 and older. He wanted to see his drivers license too and didn't sell me anything for that reason. I then went back home and went back to bevmo with my other brother which is over 21 and he was being rude to him. I understand if you're having a bad day but treat the customers with great customer service. This guy (bob) obviously is not prepared for the simple cashier position he has. By the way his name tag was backwards. Bevmo is too good to have employees with poor and sloppy customer service. read more

GREAT staff and prices. Just used these guys to buy liquor, beer and wine for our wedding in Palm Springs. Initiated the order with Randy, who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful in explaining the web site, how to set up the order, and how to evaluate the wine quality based on online reviews. He suggested some bottles from their 5 cent sale, which worked out well and allowed me to buy a decent champagne and some nice reds and whites that I otherwise couldn't have afforded. We had some issues with arranging delivery (goes through their Redlands store) which was a little annoying, but Randy was up front about the issue and it worked out fine. I got my own person to do the pickup which most likely was better for me in the end. Joe, the Store Manager, arranged the pick-up and was equally polite and accommodating. I don't usually like big chains and I never visited the store in person, but I was impressed with the experience I had buying from this store. Would certainly consider other BevMo locations near my house (in LA) going forward. read more
