Bravo to the staff here for being the most pleasant BevMo I've ever been to! Everyone was knowledgable and friendly, which is a rare find nowadays. Stopping in here was a breath of fresh air! The inside is a lot smaller than your standard BevMo, however, I would go out of my way to come to this location over others! They also had Sarti in stock when every other location around me was out. What a gem! read more

Quick heads up this place doesn't have the biggest selection of chilled beverages but they do have many other options (just not refrigerated) There are some employees that don't really have the best customer service but to make up for it, there was this one worker who rung up my drinks with an amazing attitude and smile on his face just forgot to get his name though. read more

First time in Bevmos Dana point. The help was very nice. Bought Botanist gin $37.99 + tax $41.04 Not a gin drinker bought for a friend didn't know prices. Went today to stater Brothers. Same exact bottle of Botanist gin $27.99! $10.00 less at stater Brothers. Bevmo totally F me. Will Never shop there again. They weren't busy at all now I know why just like a bad restaurant. read more

This is by far the best BevMo location in SoCal. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, plus they have the best selection of hard to find bottles!! Highly recommend shopping here for gifts. read more

Bevmo Dana Point has the most helpful, kind, knowledgeable about their product employees I have dealt with in any store I have been in! Melissa in the beer department has great insight and knowledge about the beer she is selling. The employees are soooo nice and cool and the store has a great selection. Small but very easy to find alternatives

Really friendly service, especially from Jocelyn! Shout out to Jocelyn! Even though, they did not have the item I was looking for, she recommended us an alternative that we ended up really enjoying. read more

I made it here just in time to grab 2 Unruly champagne bottles and got a 2 for 1 or 5 cents off the second bottle!! It's a smaller BevMo and totally fun to peruse. I love coming here to check out the new products like alcohol flavored whipped cream, how decadent is that?? read more

First off, I normally love BevMo. They have a great selection and have reasonable prices. My beef is with a particular employee at this location. His name is Eric. He was unprofessional and a complete jerk and should not be employed by BevMo. Everyone else at this place is great, but Eric is a lose cannon and has zero customer service skills. Fire the guy. He's bad news. read more

Shopping for something particularly nice like a Jeroboam champagne (which cost thousands of dollars) and don't have time to drive to the store so see if they have em in stock? Well don't bother phoning this store because they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE. Pathetic customer support, whoever is doing the hiring here should be fired. read more

Walking distance from our place, however I do not recommend you walk it, it's a lot safer if you drive, why you may ask? Bc the PCH is always busy at all times of day and people zoom in and out they here so yeah drive. This is a very nice (small but carries a LARgE selection) well staffed and the nicest cashiers too. We come here often that I just had to download their app and sign up for rewards. Today I saved $10.00 off of a $50Plus purchase, we spend over $200.00 so hubs used his rewards too and we saved a total of $20.00 plus got 10 bottles of wine for free. Some prices may be higher here, but location and easy access in and out are worth it. They do carry an amazing selection of wines from all around the world. Plus I do enjoy their quaint outdoors tasting room (covered patio). We love you BevMo! read more

Just want to say Glenn is awesome and I would give him 5 stars! But if you are unfortunate enough to get a cashier named Ricky ask for someone else! He is rude and dismissive and does not even care how he treats customers. I have some advice for him go work behind a desk so we don't have to endure your poor attitude! I can't believe management allows him to work there SMH read more

Inge was fantastic! She needs a raise, she went above and beyond in what should be a masterclass for customer service. I had a food and wine paring party. She gave me the perfect wine recommendations within my budget and even wrote down notes for each wine of what each person should expect when tasting the wines. I will definitely come back to see her again. read more

I went in around 6pm last night and as soon as I walked in I was not greeted. I approached the 3 workers who were gathered by the register & asked if there was a restroom to which the old lady responded, "there's someone in there". Assuming they did not want me using it, i continued to shop. There was another staff member who was restocking and I asked him if there was a restroom and he was so quick to assist me, lead me to the restroom and did it all with great attitude. At checkout I was given the nastiest attitude. The worker had asked for my ID & held onto for an extended amount of time. Then when I mentioned having to scan the membership barcode he simply pointed at the scanner instead of scanning it for me. I packed everything into my cart and he asked, "do you even make good money doing that?" as he had seen I was Instacarting. Not only were they rude from the start and unhelpful, but now they were asking about finances ? I am one to explain the app and how it works to someone who is genuinely curious, but not to someone who has been an absolute jerk. I hope that the Tuesday night crew is different from other nights because they create an extremely unattractive atmosphere. read more

I am pretty much 100% buy online and go pick it up. It used to take forever to get someone to come bring it outside but in the past year and half they have really stepped it up. I am so impressed with the level of customer service and at this point I feel I know them! Inga as always is just a breath of fresh air and always has a big smile. There are a few others whose names I do not know but they are above and beyond. Love shopping here and will continue to as long as you always carry my favorite Champagne =) read more

Staff has really improved here, the two women I've had help me out there recently have been great. My first time here a couple years ago was with my mom, we'd come to see if they had a specific drink my dad was looking for. Upon checkout the employee asked for both our ID's even though my mom was paying, but I hadn't brought my wallet with me as my mom was driving us around that day so I had no need for it. Unfortunately because I didn't have my ID, he wouldn't sell to us. Wish I had just stayed in the car so my mom could've bought the drink for my dad herself. read more

It's been a while since I have felt the need to review a business but... I went in to the local BevMo to grab my favorite bottle of tequila. Cava de Oro Extra Anejo. Every place on the planet, charges roughly $89 a bottle. This particular BevMo decided to charge $129. I asked if they price matched. At first they said yes. I showed them a price from a local liquor store which was $89 a bottle. I was then told that they only price match with Total Wines. I said, that's strange. So I proceeded to pull up a price comparison from Total Wine's. The price was $99. Then I was told they had to make sure Total Wines had this specific tequila in stock, so I googled a Total Wine store that had it in stock. I was then told that this wasn't good enough because it wasn't a local store, it was located in Rancho Cucamonga. I said, what does that matter? The answer? They only price match with Total Wines in Laguna Hills. Am I crazy? Charging $40 over the suggested retail price in my mind is considered price gouging, especially to a local customer. The so called manager then made a comment, I sell this for $129 all day long! Needless to say I said thank you very much and walked out. I will not be frequenting BevMo anytime in the near future unless it's an emergency... Please post your comments and let me know what you think. read more

I prefer total wine and more. The stuff here was not as friendly, the isles are very narrow. Did you have plenty of easy parking and are well-stocked. I feel the prices are a bit higher than other beverage stores, but if you're in the area this will do. read more

George is the nicest guy I think I've ever met! I asked for a recommendation for a good white wine; I never drink white and had no clue what I would like. He spent so much time helping me find the best bottle for my preferences, and also picked wines that were part of the yellow tag sale (buy one get the second for 5 cents!). Not only do I LOVE the bottles he picked for me, but I left feeling like I just made a friend. I am already looking forward to going back and getting more recommendations from George! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would, the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life both in store and over the phone. The woman working here was so rude! This store is conveniently located. The store as well as the parking lot is a bit small and is not yet fully stocked as the grand opening isn't until December 8th, according to this nice staff member. I wish I would have checked his name tag so I can give him kudos for service. We found what we were looking for but it was $5 more than Total Wine. They price matched so we bought 2 bottles! We will definitely be back the next time we are in the Dana Point/Laguna Niguel area. read more

I ordered online and went to pick it up at the store where I met one of the employees, Steve. When he was looking for the order, I realized that I accidentally placed it at another store. I was about to walk out but he stopped me. He looked at my order, bagged up the bottles, and said that he would contact the other store to cancel the order. All so I didn't have to drive all the way to the other store. Now that is great customer service and something that I would not have even thought of asking for. Thank you, Steve. You are awesome! read more

Great location and newer store; but, service is generally anemic and their prices are just not competitive; not even with Gelson's! Much of their (overpriced) better spirits and wines are behind locked cabinets and you're made to feel like a potential common thief with the way they run it off and away from you to hold behind their counter; despite the parking lot being filled with Range Rovers and Maseratis. It's one of their smallest stores so selection is limited and the aisles are narrow and dark. Tried it a couple of times, I think I"m done. read more

The building is very nice but their sign is an eyesore welcoming visitors of my town to BevMo Dana Point. Stopped by BevMo real quick to grab drinks for my friends, proceeded to head to the check out. The cashier Alejandro was extremely rude and and made my friend and I very uncomfortable.
