The employees are knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. The team is committed to helping you and your dog to understand each other better, thus forming a powerful bond between you and your dog. My dog, Elvis, now behaves appropriately at home, when guests arrive to my home, when we are at other peoples' homes, and when we go out in public. Many of my friends have asked me how my dog became so well behaved so very quickly. And I provide them with Elliott's information at Elite K9 Dog Training school in Plant City, FL. I find it to be the best investment you can make for your dog and yourself.

I love taking her to my son's soccer games at the park because she is the best, most well trained dog there. Trina is the best dog trainer, I trusted her with my baby and not only did she train her but she loved and cared for her too. I could tell just by the way my puppy gets happy when she sees Trina and she even cried when Trina left. I am so happy I sent my puppy to Trina. When I get another puppy I am going to send him or her to Trina too. Thanks Elite Canine Service. Sincerely, Christina, from Long Beach CA

After visiting multiple facilities and even a few individuals to do "meet & greets", we were thrilled to find the best option for all three needs was with the same team - Procyon. This review is focused specifically on the day training program. Mimi attends DAY TRAINING 2x/week. What has she learned? To SIT and WAIT at the door when it's opened instead of charging through it (picture spilling soda on yourself, the leash slipping out of your hand, her running all the way to the street) - she usually even sits without me asking. To sit in the backseat of the car in her carseat. When I brought her to Procyon she wouldn't ride anywhere but my lap - even when I was driving (yea, I know - not safe). If I tried to use the carseat, she would cry the entire time and jump out of the chair. HEEL - her heel when we walk is much improved - she used to pull like a sled dog! She's more comfortable around strangers from field trips they take. PLACE - critical for us when the doorbell rings. (We're still working on doorbell manners!) She's got a solid "high five!" too, which we use often with strangers because she prefers it to them petting her. It's been a great experience thus far, as have the boarding and daycare. I highly recommend Procyon. PS - Mimi is famous for her "resting sad face"!

The reason I sought another facility for my pups is that after 15 years with another in town, my dogs appeared desperate to see me upon my return- not just happy, but unusually eager to leave. Because of this, I was very conscious of their demeanor when I picked them up from Red Fern and was pleased when I saw that while they were very happy to see me, they would have been just as happy to stay another day. That told me all I needed to know about Red Fern! This paired with the daily pictures of my babies having a ball, the report card shining light on their best qualities and my own positive experience with all of the staff made it clear that Red Fern is my pups' new home away from home when I am called out of town. If you are considering a boarding, grooming or training facility in Marion County, look no further than Red Fern Pet Lodge!

She is a high energy puppy, so this helps her burn off some of that energy. She comes home and sleeps good at night. I receive a report card and photos of her from Enrichment Day Care, which I just love. The team there knew Athena the moment we walked through the door after her first stay. While dropping her off, we witnessed many other dogs being dropped off, all just as happy and excited to be there as Athena. That says a lot about the place when the dogs are happy to be there. It's the best thing we could ever do to help Athena socialize and gain the confidence she needs to grow into a well rounded dog.

He did not hesitate and quickly administered a full transfusion from his own personal canine to mine. This absolutely saved her life and I continue to be grateful for his job well done. Since then another one of my furry friends has periodically seen Dr. Nelson. When he handles this small canine he does so ever so gently & tenderly. On occasion he has even cradled her. You can see the passion in his eyes. Giving an exam means a full & total exam like I have never seen from any other clinic. Though their pricing is slightly higher than some others it is worth it to know they're receiving the best care possible. I would highly recommend this long time clinic to anyone.

We explained everything that had happened and provided the veterinary team with all the details about his condition. When we arrived, my dog was able to walk normally, including from the parking lot into the clinic. After examining him, the veterinary team gave him an injection for pain relief. They then told us they wanted to sedate him because he was difficult to keep still during a spinal examination and X-rays. We also informed them that our dog had consumed a large amount of water before the examination. We were instructed to return around 4:00 p.m. to pick him up. When we returned, our dog's condition had changed dramatically. He was completely paralyzed, and his eyes were severely swollen and bright red. I immediately asked the veterinary assistant why he looked like that. I was told that he had become stressed during the sedation and X-ray process. The following morning, at approximately 9:00 a.m., we returned to the clinic and asked to speak with Dr. Southwell. He also questioned why our dog's eyes were so red, even though I had already raised that concern. He administered fluids and a Diazepam injection before sending us home. Around 11:00 p.m. that same night, our dog's condition continued to worsen, so we rushed him to the University of Florida Emergency Veterinary Hospital. The emergency veterinarian examined him and expressed serious concern about his neurological condition. What I cannot understand is why CareVet at Skylark never informed us that something serious may have occurred during the sedation or recovery process, or that his condition required immediate emergency neurological evaluation. Instead, we only learned how critical his condition was after taking him to another veterinary hospital. Those first hours were incredibly important, and I will always wonder whether earlier recognition, communication, and referral could have made a difference. My dog walked into the clinic that morning. He left the same day completely paralyzed and fighting for his life. Despite every effort by the emergency team to save him, he passed away in the early morning of July 18, 2026. My French Bulldog was only 2 years and 9 months old. He had never been seriously ill and was always a happy, loving, and playful dog. He brought so much joy to our lives, and we are heartbroken by his loss. This was one of the most painful experiences my family has ever endured. Based on what we experienced, I cannot recommend this clinic. I hope no other family has to go through what we did. Rest in peace, my little angel. You will always be loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.

I paid with a $10.00 bill and was supposed to receive $4.64 in change. However, the store clerk informed me that she did not have the $0.04 to return. Although the amount may seem small, the principle of the situation is significant. If I had not had other commitments that day, I would have considered leaving the worms at the store and requesting a full refund or even protesting for the $0.04. It may sound petty to argue over such a small amount, but I believe that if I had underpaid for the product, I would not have been allowed to complete the purchase. This experience left me feeling dissatisfied with the service I received.

While she walked down one of the isles she could hear the dog yelping and crying. She looked over to the window and they had double wrapped the dogs head in a towel. One girl was squeezing the head and mouth while another cut her nails. My grandmother ran over and started knocking on the window telling her to give her the dog back! My grandmother was so nervous and upset she grabbed the dog and left. That night the dog needed to be rushed urgently to a vet. They had broken her jaw and required emergency surgery and had all her teeth pulled. The manager had the nerve to tell my grandmother that the incident occurred at home and not at his store. He asked my grandmother where the dog uses the bathroom, maybe an animal did it to her outside or maybe someone at home abuses her. Chichi (the dog) lives a better life then most humans. She is an inside dog and no one abuses her. We have sent multiple letters to the company and they have been unresponsive. We weren't asking for anything more then they take care of the VET bill since their staff had broken our dogs jaw. The company has been unresponsive. They did however put up a sign stating they no longer take small pets. I am almost sure it is because their staff is poorly trained and abused our dog.

I want to be clear it is not all on your trainer and dog, you need to own your role in maintaining the training. The team did a full in-take with our doodle, they even helped us by explaining some needs we didn't understand for his diet and exercise level. Doodles are smart, but stubborn-they need consistency and this training helped us with that. Our furry guy is eager to please and so smart and now he is in tune with us and behaving. No more nipping, no more attacking our cat, no more jumping up and I can finally walk my dog peacefully (and so can our 5 year old). There are precise guidelines for drop off and pick up, and that demonstrates professionalism and care and respect for ALL their clients, including those already in training. They have a kennel of clients to train and maintain. Just as I have a schedule I expect people to respect, these pros do as well. The team grooms your dog before bringing them home (which was unexpected and sincerely appreciated). YOU need to do work too-this isn't passive drop your dog off and do nothing training (no training is that way). The team has guidelines and they will follow up with you, but you need to be ready to partner with your pup to maintain things. My husband was initially very overwhelmed by this...however, he did GREAT as we all have and we feel supported even after our training is complete. (We've had questions and the team at CRK9 is always prompt in getting back with us, even after our training). We are truly thankful to have had this training as without it we couldn't manage our dog. Our family stress level is improved but more importantly we can now communicate with and enjoy our dog. Highly recommend for the dedicated pet parent who is ready to commit to training and do the work with CRK9s team or pros.

Carlos and his team ( including his amazing wife Elyse) saved the day! We sent our girl for a month long board and train and what a difference it made. I have never done a board and train with any dog and was nervous about having her demeanor/personality change but she came back to us amazingly skilled, well behaved and still the sweet, loving girl we left her as. Carlos has followed up on her, answered any post training questions and has been so supportive in her well being and skill set. He is extremely reasonably priced, knowledgeable in how to safely but effectively train dogs ( including aggressive, fearful or really poorly behaved dogs) and I cannot recommend him enough to anyone that needs help with their pooch!
