Then they gave me the trust factor, "I would suggest this to my own father." I was left with the feeling that I didn't have time to consider it. Talk about upselling. Wrong boys, my perspective, my money, my choice! Not yours! The office manager must be on a commission. She could not believe that I refused to stay and get the procedure done. I mean she couldn't believe that I was not staying. I told her three times. She still didn't get it. Maybe hearing issues? But hey, they both have nice trustworthy, sincere smiles. Bottom line, I went to an oral surgeon. About $230 later I left the oral surgeon's office happy as can be. And with $4,770 left in my pocket.

This often overlooked aspect of a dental practice enables him to save and repair damaged teeth that otherwise would have to be removed. Very impressive. Also, he is excellent at providing care to senior citizens. In 2008 I brought my Mother to him and he was able to repair long overlooked tooth and gum damage. His care totally eliminated her gum issues and promoted her overall health and added, in all probability, several years to her life. At that time, the manager assured me that this previous x- ray would be sufficient, and only a few bitewing images would be needed, since I do not want to be exposed to more radiation. However, the day before my appointment, I received a call stating that a full mouth x- ray was now required for me to be seen by both the doctor and hygienist. I declined, as i have already expressed my concerns about unnecessary radiation. The manger said she would consult Dr. Hakimi, but I was later told that they refused my previous x-ray, and as a result, my appointment was canceled, preventing me from receiving the exam and cleaning. I find it completely unacceptable that my time, health concerns, and trust were disregarded for such an extended period. When I mentioned that I would share my experience on Yelp, the manager said It is not fair to their office. I would like to know if this is truly fair to any patient who relies on your office for care. I hope office take this issue seriously and be more honest and informative so that no other patients face the same situation.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about 805 Dentistry and Dr. Radfar…read more I've been coming here for years, and this place truly feels like home. But this particular visit meant more to me than any other. My front tooth suddenly broke, and in my head, it felt like a nightmare. Your smile is such a big part of you--it's one of the first things people see when they meet you--and I arrived emotional, worried, and honestly a bit of a mess. From the moment I walked in, I felt like everything was going to be OK. I was greeted by my first name with the warmth and familiarity of people who genuinely know and care about their patients. Dr. Radfar went above and beyond for me. He did not hesitate to come in on his day off to take care of my emergency and then arranged a follow-up for the very first Monday afterward. He calmly explained my options, reassured me both professionally and personally, and followed through on everything he said he would do. I was so afraid that the temporary repair to my front tooth was going to look obvious or awful. Instead, it looks amazing--and this isn't even the final result! The quality of his work and attention to detail are truly unmatched. Even the anesthetic injections were so gentle that I barely felt them. I walked into 805 Dentistry frightened and overwhelmed. I walked out feeling relieved, grateful, and incredibly thankful. When someone is working on your smile, you are putting a very personal part of yourself in their hands. I could not have felt more cared for or more confident that I was in the right hands with Dr. Radfar and his team. Thank you, Dr. Radfar and everyone at 805 Dentistry, for turning what felt like a nightmare into an experience that reminded me exactly why I have trusted you with my smile for all these years.

When they came in he applied the caps and they looked fine. A couple of days later the left front tooth looked gray. Recently I was told that happens when an inferior product has been used. Usually a glass compound. I had mentioned I was not pleased with the color to Dr. Radfar on my next visit. He made no suggestion for a solution. Also the cement used spread around the top and between my two caps and dried leaving a black line around the tooth. I learned that cement cannot be removed once it dries. My only recourse is to have the caps redone. I was having regular teeth cleanings. On the last visit I came in for my appointment and I was taken to a patient room with new dentist. My appointment had been booked with Dr. Radfar. I was never told I would be seeing a different dentist. I would not recommend Dr. Radfar for any serious dental work.
