I found Dr. Hakimi on Google after I moved to the Westlake Village area and was looking for a new dentist. I came into his office for a free consult because I needed new retainers. The staff is very friendly and the office was very close to my new job. During the visit, the doctor discovered I had two cavities! Makes sense since I was due for a cleaning. He took pictures and was able to talk me through what needed to get done before I could get new retainers. We scheduled an appointment. During the appointment, he talked me through every step of what he was doing and made sure I was comfortable and pain free. He was quick and I was in and out in an hour. I'm definitely liking this new dentist and will be back for all my dental needs! read more

The service and atmosphere here is professional but speaks to all. They work with you to get the best dental treatment in town and help with the crazy costs by offering the best financial options and insurance and payment arrangements (a crown for example was almost $2,000!). Today, I received treatment from Dr. Hakimi to replace a 20 yr.-old crown with a new one. The level of dental care that he provides continues to be at the highest professional level, and is done so in a relaxed, friendly, conversational manner. Dr. Hakimi is always concerned about my comfort level during the procedure and is always reassuring me that I should not feel any pain whatsoever even when the dental equipment may sound scary at times as it bores through the tooth. He keeps me informed every step of the way during the procedure and also at its conclusion. An informed patient is a happy patient. I have been going to Dr Hakimi for many years now...... I must say he is a painless dentist. I dont even mind the way he numbs me up. He does it in such a way there is no pinch and he does each tooth individually so your face is not numb all day, and biting your cheek. The office staff is always cheerful and they even have big screen t.v.s above. I have had plenty of bad dental experiences before, and trust Dr Hakimi totally. Dr Haikimi did a great job fixing a crown done by another dentist that had given me problems for a couple years. He replaced it and I have not had a problem since. He just replaced another crown that broke and same experience as the first one. Great job with no pain it doesn't even hurt when he numbs you. I am guilty of grinding my teeth and when that led to an unexpected broken tooth I was referred to Dr. Hakimi at Westlake Smile Design by a colleague. What was supposed to be a one time visit ended up being me finding a new dentist. Dr. Hakimi and the staff at WSD provide quality dental services (best standard cleaning of my life!) and offer conscious sedation in the form of nitrus oxide, something I've never tried before now but it's an amazing option for those of us with fear of the dentist. Dr. Hakimi is GREAT. I remember the first day I came to their office a few years back. I experienced a teeth cleaning without torture and after that, I met the dentist. Kind, friendly smile and a very caring gentle soul. Dr. Hakimi gets me, and that means a lot to me, not to mention he is an AMAZING dentist. Dr. Hakimi listens. I remember when he told me I needed a root canal, and I flipped out because of my beliefs about them. Right before Dr. Hakimi was going to finish up the regular crown he asked me, 'Do you want to do the root? And I said, can I get away without, he said, I had a 50/50, so I took it the chance. Well, I should have listened to him, I ended up having to have a root canal with my NEW crown, but Dr. Hakimi referred me out to someone he sends his family to and that Dentist was GREAT too. Yesterday 4.6.2016 I had to have a crown put back in that fell out, not a crown that Dr. Hakimi put in, but an older crown from years ago. He took great care of me and when I went to check out, they told me NO charge. I was really happy. Their office might seem pricey, but to me, you can't put a price on dental work. I want the BEST and I believe he is the BEST. My entire family goes to him and feels the same way as I do. read more

Best dentist I have ever had, hands down!! I have visited this office three times and had Dr. Hakimi work on my teeth twice. The first visit was a consultation and a cleaning. Dr. Hakimi is easy going, relaxed, and focused. I don't even feel a pinch when he numbs my mouth. He takes his time and is diligent when working on my teeth (not running around working on other patients at the same time). I never felt relaxed in a dentist chair, EVER. My fists are clenched, my body is stiff, and I'm in flight mode. That is not the case when I visited Dr. Hakimi. I was relaxed the entire time I was in the chair. read more
