Avocado toast lack taste and bacon seems burnt and not fresh. Hard broken pieces on top of bland avocado. I think it could have used salt and peeper, chili oil, and some fresh bacon. Lemon poppy seed muffin was good but not fresh, I had it warmed but it was still cold on the inside. I will be back. I love the vibes and the people. Maybe I will try something new to see if it's better.

I recently had a HORRIFIC experience working for Clean Juice, specifically with the owner, ANNA…read moreYAU. She attempted to underpay me for two days of work based on her personal emotions, which is unprofessional and ILLEGAL. Compensation for labor is a legal right, regardless of an employer's feelings. To make matters worse, Anna asked me via text if I thought I "deserved" to be paid for the two days I worked. When I returned her uniform the next day, she attempted to give me $45 in cash which left me rightfully upset, especially by the lack of compassion or understanding in the way she was treating me. As if this is something I deserved? I left in tears without accepting the underpayment. Thankfully, my partner, who overheard the situation, went to the location and was able to reconcile and get the full pay I was owed. Regardless of personal frustrations or issues, it's an employer's responsibility to ensure employees are properly compensated. If you're not ready to deal with employees you should not be a business owner. This was a despicable experience, and I would not recommend working for this business. However, I hope this does not reflect the views of Clean Juice as a franchise, because I plan to contact them for clarification :) (PROOF OF MESSAGES BELOW)

You can go in and order a subway style sandwich on a selection of bread of your choice the same at Kroger however, at Lowe's food you are not able to get but one type of bread, which is tough and chewy as an older person without dentures. I find it almost impossible to eat a sandwich from there because of the bread I was told there is no choice of bread. I tried to order a ham and cheese, lettuce and tomato with Italian dressing and was told it would only come on the one type of bread no options I went to the store manager to ask about an option and was told there is no option. I asked what were the ingredients in that particular coffee, she said coffee and protein foam. I said, yes, but what else? She had no idea, seemed to not understand the question. Her coworker, who was super busy, overheard the exchange and spouted out all ingredients. I ordered a plain protein iced coffee with splenda on side and waited. A family of 4 ordered right after me and 15 or so minutes later when they were getting their coffees, I walked up and was asked "you didn't get your coffee yet?". It'd been sitting on the counter and was handed to me. I asked for the sugar, she said a packet was already added to the cup. Takeaways: The coffee itself is delicious, I will definitely give it another try. The service, if not improved, will cause delays and all the staff need to know everything on the menu. This couldve been a new employee or one-off, tho. I think the addition of sugar to any drink should be done by customer, not staff, unless the customer asks. Cute place.
