I think I was searching renovation when frankly the job I wanted was demolition. He had an opening and a crew, I had a flexible schedule, so he came and removed the basement. Fair price, courteous and polite, removed what I wanted. Frequent check ins. On time. What more could you ask for? Turns out I probably have another project for him... we ran out of time and steam last week, but I'm calling him again. Edit: Called him again. This time for a deck and raised garden. I hate to say I probably have more projects for him...it just sorta piled up. Anyway, did a great job! Highly recommend.

Not a trace they were even there other than what they had Demo'd. I had them take down a brick wall, brick posts from a patio, and my entire deck floor and railings so I can rebuild the deck. We weren't planning on doing the deck, but he nailed it the same day because I had mentioned I would be doing it soon and he said "Let's just do it today I have my crew here!" Got a great price too. Great price on everything - great service on everything. Don't hesitate to use Demolition Man!

The job required digging twice into the city street, but they did so without complaint. We needed grading work to redirect water from impacting the foundation at the back of our house. And we wanted to have that water (and water from our downspouts) end up nicely in a rain garden out front. Bob knew exactly what to do for our situation and handled it all in three days, including building the rain garden. Bob gave us a fair price, kept his word throughout the process, didn't cut corners, and showed up when he said he would with his hard working team. He's a standup guy, to boot, and great to talk and consult with. We are pleased with the quality of the work and the straight talk. Wholeheartedly recommend Knight's Grading and Excavating.
