I heard from maintenance people that worked for her and from real estate agents that she had a huge number of property owner clients that quit and went elsewhere. She passed away in January 2025 however I don't believe the current business is any better. If you are a property owner looking to rent out a building of some sort I recommend Home Sweet Home property management on Simpson which does what I would consider a pretty good job. If you haven't bought a building yet and planning on getting into rentals think twice, it is not very profitable and the Democratic Party along with other left wing groups are making owning a rental property nearly impossible, best stay with the stock market and save yourself a great deal of trouble.

Fontaine completed a driveway for me recently, a conversion from a gravel drive. The concrete…read moreitself looks very nice (won't be able to judge how well it drains or wears for a while) and they were mostly great to work with - kept me informed of their schedule, came on time, worked hard, etc. Very nice guys. Cost was comparable to other estimates. Aside from the concrete itself, there are several problems. The biggest is that the new driveway is not at the level of the old one. It's a platform - 4" above ground level on one side and 8" above on the side towards the house. A danger and a liability, to say nothing of a several hundred dollar project now required to install steps and make the sides less hazardous and unattractive (Fontaine put some rock in along the sides when I complained, but it is ugly and needs additional work if it's to be permanent). I would have appreciated being informed beforehand, especially since I am 71 and have mobility issues - I did not need more steps. Ask lots of questions! They were also very hard on the surrounding vegetation, in spite of things we discussed beforehand, including an adjacent flower bed of my neighbors. They broke a large area out of a hydrangea, left small chunks of concrete and areas of concrete dust in my yard, apparently cleaned tools onto my parking strip leaving another little pile of concrete, and it appears they dumped some slurry down the storm drain (I bet that's illegal). They did not wear masks, even tho they are now a legal requirement.
