I contacted SVP after our real estate agent said it would be 2+ weeks before his photographer could fit us in. SVP responded with in hours and was able to schedule for the next day. The beautiful, fully edited photos were delivered the following day. They were able to provide a stunning "twilight" shot even though they came at 10:30 in the morning. (Yay for mad Photoshop skills!) Side note: our agent took his own not-awesome photos and posted on MLS. I'm attaching a comparison. But the last job I hired him for, We rescheduled fine and took the pictures fine but then I guess he forgot me and left me hanging for over a week without pictures or any communication. Email after email had no response, text included. Until I finally emailed them on his new client form. I got them back but the link had the wrong address. I know he was busy that weekend but after requesting he fix the address several time, he has not responded. It was also supposed to include a video and 20 pictures for $550 and I only got 20 pictures for $550. Again I gave him time to settle back in and I emailed him requesting the aerial , there has been no response to date. I'm afraid something has changed and I no longer recommend. I must mention that I had one another incident (a few years ago) where he never emailed me the website address that was included in my package. And that time, like this one I emailed him and text him several times. He did not respond. Now I'm going to have to hire another photographer to do the aerial.

I had called 2 photographers in Gilroy for my wedding, and while Michael was about $500 more expensive than the other one - I realized that getting photographs of the day in the style I preferred was worth the extra expense. We had a few phone conversations and he worked me up a price for the wedding day. (I was not going to need engagement photos OR actual prints). My price included X hours of his time at the ceremony, his retouching/sorting of shots, and then posting ALL photos for me to download. Michael was very pleasant and engaging on the phone and was another vendor that I knew I could count on (whew). You pay 1/2 as a deposit and the other half a few days before the wedding. I met him about 30 mins before the ceremony and he was already shooting away. I had supplied him with a shot list, some photo styles I liked, and a couple other specifics (like that I wanted shots of all the food at my wedding). He covered all of those off. I had also told him I really wanted the group shots to be FAST FAST so I could get them done and enjoy my reception. Now I don't remember all of it, but I recall those shots maybe took 20 mins - which might be a world record. My cake cutting turned out to be after his time ran out - but he was a trooper and stayed the extra time without charging me. In the end there were nearly 700 shots posted for us to download! Everyone always tells you that the day is a blur, and they were right, I barely remember a thing! Thank goodness I have a record of the day with 700 photos. Highly recommend.

Mac House provided me with the perfect blank slate that actually ended up having some bells and whistles that helped elevate my basic set-up, like customizable lighting and a convenient roll-up door that served as the perfect spot for our taco caterer. The team was very friendly and accommodating throughout the entire process and made me feel so comfortable in their space. Following their Instagram page, I learned that, aside from the amazing video production work they do, they are also involved in a variety of humanitarian initiatives. With a little imagination, we were able to transform the entire space to fit the 'Dancing Under The Stars' theme we dreamt up for our wedding reception. Since they're a video production studio, it was super easy talking with them about how to light the entire space. At the end of that night, my wife and I, and all our guests had the most wonderful evening!
